Meeting famous athletes

Meeting famous athletes
Have you ever met a famous athlete? Were they nice? Mean? That's me blocked out meeting the great Mike Tyson. He was nice and even gave me some free boxing tips

I met Chicharito, he is pretty small but nice.

He signed a normal jersey since I wasn't wearing nothing related to sports at that time.

yeah those soccer players cant be so big they would die running that much if they were over 130-140 pounds

Should have known better than to think anyone on ap would meet a pro athlete

I saw Andy Murray at a Coles in Melbourne last January. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I met Tyson as well when he was here for his live show at the casino. He was legit just sitting at a bar afterwards and no-one really noticed or were too intimidated to talk to him. I was full of liquid courage so I crammed my spaghetti deep into my pocket and pulled up a chair next to him and ordered a drink trying to play it cool. I said "Oh, Mike! I saw your show tonight thanks a lot for coming here" (Perth isn't known for drawing international shows) He said "Tanks a lot and we chatted for all of about 10 seconds before some faggot security guard head locked me and pulled me away.
>"Bye Mike! Thanks again for the show"
>"Bye friend"

>mfw I got to have a drink with Mike Tyson

I met Tony Hawk when I was in middle school.....
Oh, this is Cred Forums

I sucked off Serena Williams BBC in 2003 and 06.

yes

Walked past John Terry one time, in a rush but probably would have snapped the bastard anyway.

The biggest star i've seen is David Beckham, when he was in Finland to operate his knee. He was getting in taxi and just before he gets in, I waved at him, our eyes crossed and he blinked at me.
I'm so happy.

Os du Randt (double world cup winner and Free State Cheetahs legend) has bought me a shot in the bar once, my friends like to say he only bought me a shot because I bought him one first - I still say a double world cup winner has bought me a shot.

Lol if this is real that's funny.

I've met a bunch of Saints players, too many to count including Brees. Nothing crazy, he was browsing around my store and I shot him a thumbs up and was like "Thanks for the win Drew, let me know if you need help finding something." "You got it buddy."

One time when I was a kid I did a gig as the ballboy/sweat moppers for an NBA game and I saw Allen Iverson headed to the team bus. He was my favorite player at the time and he was in street clothes all swagged out. I got really excited and ran up to him and was like:

>"Allen Iverson!!!"
>"sup dude"
>and then I blanked, I hadn't planned that far ahead
>he keeps walking
>"uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you're my favorite player!"
>"haha thanks kid"

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

man that guy looks scary.

great lifetime stories friends
in 50 years you will still reminisce the moment as "that time when"

>tfw only shook hands with a minister, an admiral of the Dutch fleet, and some douchy multimillionaire, stuff that was cool in the moment and for the next week of bartalk, but nothing to remember when I am old

Kek manlet

This shit never gets old

I always knew he was a cunt.

Gary Bennett (>literally who?) came to my school once for a football training program, he handed out some shit cards and I shook his hand, it may have been due to me being 10 but his hands were abnormally large.

I should have changed the name to Adam Johnson and made this story more interesting

met Dennis bergkamp when he played for arsenal at this football youth tournament thing. Also remember it because we won in our division :^^^)

When I lived in Seattle I met Ruben Sierra at a Kenneth Cole. He was buying the same boot in multiple colors and they had to ship it to him. When they asked him for his shipping address he had no idea where he lives and had to call his manager and ask what's his address. I was there standing about ten feet behind him just waiting for him to be done so he could sign my baseball. (My father kept baseballs in his car just in case of this sort of thing)

That same year I met Barry Bonds at a Starbucks. He signed one of those cardboard coffee cup holders. Lol

When I was in LA I met Kings players at meet and greets all the time. Getting jerseys signed and what not.

I was also walking around downtown Seattle once and met Howie Long. Took a picture with him and my family.

Here in Armenia I met Mkhitaryan and Kardashian. (Yes, sucking dicks is a sport)
