The expanded rosters need to stop. This is creating a borderline emergency situation in which games are incredibly, incredibly slow and boring at a time of year in which they're supposed to be most exciting.

I think rosters should be expanded for the whole season, obviously not 40, but 25 is too little. I think 27 or 28 is a good number, maybe bump it up to 30 in September.

it'd be a "healthy scratch" system like in hockey

I agree with Gary on this, the rosters should expand but you should only be able to have an "active" roster of 25 for each game.
