There are no cuts because the sport is so hard and unrewarding that most teams can't even fill all the weights, so they'll accept anyone who can make it through the practices. All you need are shoes and headgear. Practices are generally every weekday for two hours. If you went to boarding school in the US or something most have a wrestling team but if you're stuck in GB you're hopeless.

I trained American folkstyle only, as do most American wrestlers, since that's the style that is sanctioned by our school systems.
I barely trained any Greco or freestyle. Only the most hardcore and dedicated wrestlers trained those disciplines since those competitors occur during the summer as opposed to the winter, so you generally have to join a club seperate from your school team to compete in that circuit.
There were too many great moments and great stories to count and my teammates are still my closest friends. I can't get too specific or my identity is out, but maybe later.
Never had to use my skills in a real fight since I don't start shit, and anyone with a brain doesn't try to pick fights with wrestlers.
