Chiefs

Goatriots

Anyone else plan on lowkey debateposting in the mnf thread?

What'll you be eating during the game?

Five weeks until BEWD rapes Dak

Raiders will win 10 games this season.

>tfw I'll be asleep.

It's tempting to stay up but it will be 3am at that time and honestly I have things to do tomorrow.

Isn't that what igglefags called Foles?

*BEUD

My mistake

Yes but excuse him, he's new

This is correct

TYBC

this one is new and improved

Did >we save our season yesterday?

No you only delayed the inevitable. Cousins is regressing to the mean and you have the wrong Gruden coaching.

Raiders released fb/te hybrid marcel reece today

Who picks him up

Is Matt Ryan still elite?

What the fuck is wrong with you user

>Crowell is rolling and on his way to the pro bowl, currently tied for second in the NFL in rushing yards next to Zeke
>Pryor is proven to be an athletic freak, has an incredible upside at WR and practically almost won sunday's game by himself
>Coleman has already showed tremendous poise prior to his injury
>Josh Gordon showed he's ready to return to the team and to 2013 form
>Nassib and Ogbah are fucking beasts, both can be future pro bowlers
>Derrick Kindred, Joe Haden, Briean Boddy-Calhoun, and Jamar Taylor are all showing serious playmaking abilities in the secondary

I don't even care if we tank and go 1-15. This team has a bright future. They have their head coach, they have a receiving core that will be one of the best in the league, they have two running backs on the come up, and the defense is young but growing week by week.

We'll get our franchise QB with this coming draft whether it's Watson or Kizer. Mark my words.

The future is very bright.

He's a dirty steroid user so I guess he goes to wherever they go to now.

Can I make a recommendation?

Nothing, bro.

Browns or Pats best bet imo

>when you cook for bae

Not mathematically possible. The Broncos will go 14-2 at the minimum. The Chiefs will probably go 10-6. And the Chargers will probably go 9-7. That leaves the Raiders with a likely 6-10 at the best.

Don't forget that it's the Browns though. You know what happens when the team has a future around it right?

at least he can still outplay Eli

My post workout meal, bro

>All this buildup to tonight is nothing but MUH KATRINA
>Muh decade old blocked punt
>Everything else is about the Aints
>Falcons barely acknowledged as being there

I can't wait for the Falcons to bootyblast this decrepit bunch of old people and thirdstringers

Looks good.

>hurricane katrina segment in the year 2016

Patriots
BB loves working with older players to squeeze the last bit of juice out of them

La'el Collins going on IR after a foot surgery

Schefter's twitter

Pats already have 4 TEs and a FB on the roster though

doesn't flow off the tongue as well, but why not

>the chargers will go 9-7
That would have been a stretch before the season, even more so now considering they lost Allen, woodhead and teo for the season

eh BEWD is too 2013, we need a new meme eagles bros

How does that prove that it is not mathematically possible? The Broncos going 14-2 show that it is mathematically possible haha

How long until they fire Jackson?

Honestly I give him 3 years. I don't think the fans will hate him, but that moron Haslam will not keep him.

Will there be a game thread for the presidential debate tonight?

why would they?

Jimmy Haslam complains about the lack of "results" and dismisses them.

the pregame one got deleted so presumably no

You're a fucking idiot, conceivably every team in a division can go 13-3

hence the lack of results

They're the Browns that's what they do

Should be. Keep making new ones if they get deleted. Make Cred Forums great again

49th for Kings in the North once more

38-33. Get ready to die again.

If you get beat, you will get beat by a third string team.
if you win, you win vs a third string team

lose-lose in terms of shitposting

till you get raped next week by an actual team

>I'll just keep posting this terrible throw

>mnf
>2 shit teams
Fucking hell how is it so shitty so early in the season?

It's a good throw. Neck yourself.

>Cousins is regressing
>leading league in yards
ehh scoreboard

Because Katrina still matters for some reason.

I'm not sure who will win the North at this point

Steelers got BTFO and the Bengals have looked like shit so far but the Ravens haven't looked particularly good either but have squeaked out a few close games

I think it'll be between the Ravens and Steelers at this point

I don't care that they won I'm in dumpster fire mode desu

Poor poor Miami. But you must pay for your success with Shula by being shit for 50 years to balance out the good times.

I wouldn't say shit teams, just shit defenses, this will be an exciting back and fourth game m8

This your first year watching football or something?

Everyone is going to watch the debate tonight it's good that there isn't an actual good matchup to miss out on

>8/10 people picking aints
>even when they're missing a bunch of starters with a already terrible defense
Are """"""analysts""" getting btfo again today?

>Implying a divisional rivalry win is ever a lose lose for shitposting

...

>Raiders running game a shit
>Ravens pass defence No.1 in the league

We'll be fine

I think Ravens, Steelers and Bengals will all finish around 10-6 this year. Bengals I expected to come out 2-1 from thees first 3 games but they have the most balanced team in the division and should win the division again

seriously I am so done with this team. I am traveling on thursday and visiting family. There is no way I will watch the whole game and I will make no attempt to watch it. I am that apathetic about this team

They've been trash with all the other games, why stop now.

>cmon man already
Damn I didn't get to see who got Mossed

Friendly reminder Brett Farve retired for real because Randy Moss is a lazy nigger.

>Steelers got btfo

On week 3. Teams change throughout the season. Remember when the Patriots got rekt by the Chiefs? Remember what happened the rest of the season? Even last season when they got btfo by the Eagles, they were one play away from going back to the Owl. Plus, I think it's better to have that bad of a loss in September when teams are still figuring out and trying players out. Steelers will be fine, it's not like they almost lost to horrible teams like the Ravens. In case anyone thinks the Eagles are just getting lucky, they've had an above average team since two season ago, it was Chip Kelly and his delusion of thinking he could run everything ala Bill Belichick.

Are run game is quite good this year. We also have the number 1 offense. Be afraid man.

Jesus christ I don't want to see this shit

>one play away from going back to the Owl

No you weren't you were one play away from OT. That's like me saying the Ravens were "one play away from going to back to back Superbowls" because of cuntiff

Hey, guys, did you forget Katrina happened?

The Raiders have one of the top rushing offenses in da league son

You're right, slipped my mind. I forgot Gost missed that damn extra point.

Why do raiders fans even have hope?

Wait

Suzy Kolbert is single?

Literally nobody is afraid of the Raiders. Ravens have played like shit these first 3 weeks and are 3-0 so win or lose I just want to see a consistent game from the whole team

Because the team is actually mediocre for a change. When you have seen nothing but shit for years, even being an 8-8 or 9-7 team is a breath of fresh air.

When will currently undefeated teams lose their first game?

Ravens - Any week now, they're lucky to be 3-0 as it is.
Patriots - Week 4 vs BUf or Week 8 @ BUF
Broncos - Idk they have a piss easy schedule, only really tough game left is vs NE
Eagles - Week 8 @ DAL
Vikings - Week 7 @ PHI

Fair enough.

Iggles or Ravens, I'd bet.

Let us just have 9 wins man. We won't even challenge you for the playoff spot. Just give us a winning season please.

yes and they're lucky to be 3-0, Raiders will expose them next week

ignore this fag

>When will currently undefeated teams lose their first game?
>Iggles or Ravens, I'd bet.
Dat reading comprehension

I thought it was asking who will be the first to lose.

I am illiterate. Get off my nuts.

I don't even know what I expected this year, but it wasn't to get fucked by 4 LITERALLY WHO quarterbacks in two weeks and then having to take the browns to OT to win.

>you will never hit her in the face with your balls

>implying Michelle Steele isn't better than Suzy

Eagles and Ravens are good for at least the next two weeks imo. Broncos Could realistically be undefeated by the time they play their first game against the Chiefs in week 12 I think it is

I want to say either Patriots just because Rex puts everything into games against them or Vikings simply because they have very few weapons on offence and somebody will be able to put up points against their defence sooner or later

Not that i care... i will fall asleep during halftime because it will be 3:30am and i work at 7... by the time i get on Cred Forums in the morning, all the shitposting will have stopped, because the NFC South shitposting game is weak. Except Cuckolina fags last year.

>teams so shit no one even going to make a game thread

OL Anthony Davis has retired again.

I want to start getting into football more. I watch games occasionally, but never really felt committed. What would you guys recommend?

I feel like there'd be a few French Saints fans

>Anthony Davis retires

Should have stayed retired the first time you prick

Will there ever be a Saints game where they don't talk about Katrina?

>parents so shit they raised an illiterate retard who also apparently cant use the catalog

you let the texans beat you, you aren't relevant anymore.

do you want a team to follow? or do you not understand the rules?

Reminder that the Packers are missing this playoffs and won't get in again until 2066

Where do you live?

The league will be disbanded by then.

Trent brown is better anyway

TAKE A KNEE

At this point even johnathan martin was better than anthony davis

she's saving herself for the next time Joe Namath comes around

Is there a head coach with an easier job than Kubiak's?

>Elway makes all the players, staff, and personnel decisions
>Team is built around the defense that Wade Phillips runs

Sure, the offense has shown some improvement this season, but it's not like there's much pressure on them when the defense plays as well as it does.

hes pretty much the new John Gruden.

Who's the old John Gruden?

kubiak is great at manufacturing a run game though, his job is to make CJ anderson into a pro bowl guy

Jon Gruden.

And who's the future Jon Gruden?

Kubiak you retard

Not the same Broncos fan you're replying to, but I'd rather the Raiders get second in the division and a shot at the wildcard than the Chiefs. The Raiders haven't been relevant since I was 10 years old. I really hate the Chiefs more than the Raiders.

No, he's the current/new Jon Gruden.

I hope so. Yesterday's game didn't fill me with confidence about the run game. Maybe Siemian's good performance, despite some glaring mistakes he made, will make teams respect our pass game more and not load up against the run every down.

raidnigger fans are 100x worse than chiefs fans

No we're not. I'm not at least.

yes you are

I don't see Viking fans on here acting like a bunch of delusional faggots... what exactly is the Eagle's fans' problem?

It's 2013/2014 all over again

Eagles fans have always been the biggest faggots on this board. Overreact to every win/loss and leave gamethreads everytime they start shitting the bed

Is that a sport?

>he seriously believed that the naners could upset the us12s in centurylink

Who would you say has the better defense in the AFC South?

Houston or Tennessee?

Remember that these are still shit teams and will do nothing this year, but it honestly seems like the division is a dumpster fire with these two shitty tire heaps in the best position to win it.

I'm not gonna bother trying to find the picture from here of some Eagles fan that made a park in rollercoaster tycoon to represent his teams season, but suffice it to say they're paragons of autism.

I picked Seahawks in the end lel

welched on a bunch of other picks though that I had right though which fucks me off

>fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-vikings-and-ravens-are-in-for-a-rude-awakening/

Thoughts vikebros?

Pretty much to tl;dr, ravens babby schedule, vikings offense needs to get their shit together.

Treadwell or Mycole need to become a legit 3rd option for the vikings to turn the offense around. I personally don't want to see fumble machine Ronnie Hillman.

I mean, I would hardly call you a babby schedule.

So far you've played a few great teams and a solid Titans D.

I follow the seahawks. rules are not a problem.

chicago

I guess the better question is, What do you guys do? how many of the games do you watch? do you check certain news sites? just what is your routine?

>vikings-and-ravens-are-in-for-a-rude-awakening/
>and-ravens-are-in-for-a-rude-awakening/
>ravens-are-in-for-a-rude-awakening/
>ravens

I'm already not going to read it because he put the Ravens and the Vikings in the same sentence.

The Vikings have beaten two premier teams. The Ravens have not.

>point differential being predictive in the NFL

Such garbage. I guess this must mean that the Steelers are frauds and the Eagles are winning the Super Bowl.

yo vikes, interested in having your best LB's brother on the team as well? this guy played 9 fucking snaps on sunday. he's actually good, we swear, he's just not working out for schwartz.

>let's give all our money to an aging QB and players not even on the team lol who cares about defense
Saints need a reset

yeah coming from a fan of an NFC east team who just watched the last 2 bears games, they're easily worse than the browns.

their defense is fucking decimated (and who knows if it was even good to begin with) and the only good player they have on offense is jeffery. langford is average, and kevin white did not impress me.

That's actually a good thing. Someone needs to save the Browns from their own shit

Pick a team you want, (some people do it by where they live, and the closest team, other people pick a team based on a specific player). I personally believe that you should stick to a team once you pick it. Once your team is out of the playoffs is a different story.

Nice

Reece to Browns/Eagles calling it

There was a personal foul penalty during the Packers-Lions game this week for unsportsmanlike conduct, inappropriate gesture or something. Did anyone get an explanation of what it was? It didn't look like anything out of the ordinary but I didn't hear much about it.

Generally, NFL players act like they never have made a play before, so I don't mind shit being penalized.

Nick perry ran his thumb across his throat twice. Its pretty much universally known as "i'm gonna cut your throat". It was a dumb thing to do

what he's asking is how to be a more "involved" fan, he's got the rules and his fandom he just wants to be more into it.

/nfl/ MARGIN PREDICTOR 2016

docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeHIEO2QqEmI1AvVQaBm2nCG3HN2c5ISjxStS9rWffdTvAKvA/viewform

week 3 is done, so on to week 4. the goal is to pick how many points you think teams will win by and get as close as possible to the actual result, and I'll tally up your points every week and post a small leaderboard of the top scorers.

how many points you get for each pick depends on how close you were:
>0 off: 5 points
>1-3 off: 4 points
>4-7 off: 3 points
>8-10 off: 2 points
>11-14 off: 1 point
>15+ off: no points
then multiply that by how confident you were in your pick. the maximum score you could get is 240 in a week, and 3840 in a season.

>Name: put here what you want your entry to be listed as if I end up posting your score. if you leave it blank, then I'll just use Anonymous.
>ID Code: put anything you want here, as long as it's the same every week. I'll be the only one that sees it, it just lets me know that you're the same guy that played last week using that code.
>Matchup: simply pick who you think wins that game.
>Margin: enter how many points you think they will win by. it has to be a whole number and can't be negative.
>Confidence: put either 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 here based on how confident you are that you'll get the margin right for that game.
>you can only have 45 total confidence points. if you go over, I will randomly discredit one of your highest-confidence games until you're at or under 45. you'll get no points for that game.
>if your ID Code is submitted twice, only the most recent one counts
>only entries submitted before the start of the first game count
>leaderboard of the top 10 scorers will be posted after the MNF game
>taking suggestions for what to rename this game, because Margin Predictor is bland and dumb

friendly reminder that the confidence limit is 45 this week due to byes, but the range is still 1-5 per game. if you go over, I'm just not going to count it.

Yes, the Broncos have gotten the best of the Pats, in meme high. Plus, the ranking are for this season, not last or even before that. If that were true then the Raiders would be higher for shitting on Denver and Giants for outmeme'ing the Pats in the Owls.

Broncos are a great team, but shouldn't the one without a QB be higher?

>a """"""""serviceable"""""""" offensive line is going to stop the best pass rush in the NFL

It's not like the passing offense has been non existent. And for only being here for less then a month, Sam Bradford has been exceptional. You don't win games by turning the ball over on offense and that's what the Vikings have done. Bradford is becoming more comfortable and the passing game is looking alright. The run game is dogshit at the moment with shitty blocking and shitty running but it looked much better vs Carolina when thr Vikings finally got a few runs over 10 yards long. It needs to get a lot better though, but i guess i have high standards from watching a top 5 run game for some years now.

The tits are arguably top 5 run defense, same with the packers. I don't know where the panthers rank but I'm sure it's high as well.

yeah it's not going to be anywhere near as good as last year, and you still scraped by with a 2 point margin of victory

If I were you, I'd be hella worried right now. Patriots will only get better

Not stop, but limit. Both games last season were as close as they could possibly get (yet people act like Denver won both in 21 point blow outs). The O-line buying Brady and the receivers 1 more second on a few plays can make the difference between a win and a loss in a game like this

...

Ware will be back in a month and its not like it even matters because Denver has Shane Ray and Shaq Barrett behind him who could both be starting for a lot of other teams in the NFL.

Ware was on limited snaps already and gets rest time to go hard in the playoffs. The same thing happened last season when he sat out some games.

Shane Ray is still better than pass rusher the Pats have face all season.

lmao Pats fans so scared they can barely scrap shit together

>le Vikings offense is bad meme
People who say this can fuck off. The worst game was week 1 and the Vikings were starting Shaun Hill. 21 and 20 points on offense in back to back weeks against good defenses with a quarterback that hasn't even been here a month. The big thing is that the offense hasn't turned the ball over once and I'll take that over meme "explosive" offense like the 0-3 Aints.

>seahawks may play Wilson against the jets
>another team with a deadly front seven
>against our turd of an Oline

Wilson is going to go full RG3 here isn't he?

Vikings offense is one dimensional now. It's going to crash even if Bradford doesn't get injured.

>i'll take the vikings offense over the saints offense

Vikings aren't running the ball well right now but that's reasonable given the defenses they've faced. The schedule after the bye is one of the biggest cupcake schedules in the league.

I wondered what happened to Chris Simms. He was a decent QB for the Bucs until the Panthers literally ruptured his spleen and ruined his career.

You realize he throws the ball more than anyone just about every year. And his value in passing more than makes up for his INTs.

you have the bucs ranked way too high

>bellichick
>retiring

maybe in 2025

Only did that twice. One was the 2011 season where there were literally four 5000 yard passers, the other the season after and he also threw 19 INTs. No thanks.

Rod Rust was an entertaining coach. That was one of the greatest train wrecks of a season I had ever seen.

I screwed up, 1st Bucs is Steelers.

Treadwell is just raw. Diggs was raw last year, too, and Zimmer really put him through the works, now he's coming out hot. Treadwell is just getting the same treatment like Diggs.

What Wentz did to the Stoolers' D made it look like he'd been spanking them for years.

The defense literally stopped everything except for Antonio Brown, and that's honestly all you can ask for

t. Stoolerfag

Actually Brees has one of the lower INT% rates among active QBs

Stop being retarded. You are seriously trying to argue that Brees makes it hard to win games even though he doesn't actually turn the ball over that much and literally carries the Saint's offense by himself.

a qb whose defense consistently puts him in holes is going to have to pass more which means more interceptions, especially considering that defenses will anticipate said passes and adjust their style of play accordingly

what sort of art do you paint? allison was a painter.

what are you listening to?

>What Wentz did to the Stoolers' D made it look like he'd been spanking them for years.
It's not like anyone thought the Steeler's D was legit though.

I agree with your point though, their defense might be top 5 in the league

Consider that if your defense isn't good, it might behoove you to try to protect the ball so that even if they do get the ball they have to at least drive the entire length of the field.

Interceptions are incredibly costly. Consider that the Patriots and Packers are perennial playoff contenders and their QBs almost never throw picks, while teams like the Chargers and Saints struggle to make the playoffs despite their QBs constantly throwing for lots of yards and touchdowns. Is the difference their defenses? The Packers' D is perenially mediocre, and while the Patriots' D can step up against bigtime opponents they rarely ever shut down opposing offenses outright.

Do you realize turnovers are practically a 14-point swing? Not only do you score, often your opponent scores. How do you win games if you're deliberately giving yourself a 14-point handicap just to put up big passing stats?

Holy shit, commentators curse is real.
>and brees hasn't thrown an interception in 305 passes!!!
>2 plays later
>And it's brees with the interception.

Now that the dust has settled, post some creative ways the Vikings will break our hearts with this season.

>Wide left...

>not like anyone thought the Steeler's D was legit
You're not wrong, but it had looked promising compared to recent years.

The linebackers have obviously improved a bunch, but god help the DBs. Holy shit they're so bad. I was hoping so bad they'd get Weddle to help, but alas, he went to the Ravens

sam bradford

AP fumble returned for a touchdown while the Vikings try to run out the clock in the closing moments of the owl

Dude you're a complete retard. Brees turns the ball over less than most QBs in the league. And when you have a bad defense you're usually in a hole which means you have to take risks and constantly score points in order to win. You can't worry about "protecting the football" that's what teams with good defenses can prioritize.

If you put Brees on a team like the Texans they would be super bowl favorites. He has insane value as a player.

Why are you just ignoring the fact that Brees is not the turnover machine you keep trying to paint him as?

You aren't onto anything new. Turning the ball over doesn't help your defense. You know what also helps a defense? Moving the ball and scoring points. The main problem is you have picked a horrible example for this concept because

1. Brees doesn't turn the ball over that much and

2. Brees gives far more value to an offense than he could possibly take away from a defense.

had Goff and Wentz's roles been reversed, would they be in the same situations right now?

Are all Vikings fans really this dumb? Like holy shit, do you really think Brees makes his own defense look bad? What the fuck?

Think this will go down as the most embarrassing loss this decade?

>Brees doesn't turn the ball over that much
Stop trying to make this point because it's completely untrue. He's as turnover prone as pretty much every other "good" QB in the league that fails to consistently make the playoffs, and he's making far more money than all those guys.

Rodgers doesn't turn the ball over even half as much.
Neither does Brady.
Dalton throws roughly as many picks but doesn't commit as many fumbles, and his turnover rate has steadily declined as he gains experience
Flacco hovers around 10-12 INTs a year except for 2013 when he suddenly started giving the ball away like it was Christmas morning, and how did the Super Bowl champions look that year? 8-8.
Since 2009 the Cowboys have only made the playoffs twice with Tony Romo, and those were the only seasons in that span that Romo both played a full season and threw less than 10 INTs. I'm sure you probably believe that to be a coincidence.
Both Alex Smith teams(49ers and Chiefs) have been playoff contenders every year once Smith stopped throwing so many interceptions. By and large those teams still had the same players but now the defenses weren't constantly being put in bad situations by backbreaking turnovers. Guess that's another coincidence.

Every other QB in the league either struggles to make the playoffs on a consistent basis or never makes the playoffs at all so it really doesn't matter if they're more turnover prone.

Either way, Brees's turnovers likely cost his team about three games a year. When you're 7-9 every year, that can make the difference between making the playoffs and watching from home.

tl;dr fuck off Brees apologists

43-8 happened this decade right

youtu.be/D0widMpI86w

playoff peypey was inevitable

although i guess that'd make $cam in sbl more of an embarrassment

>Brees costs his team 3 games a year

Jesus christ please kill yourself already

Brees has a career 2.5 INT% which is lower than Romo, Flacco, Luck, Manning, Roethlisberger, Dalton

You're argument is so fucking retarded I'm not even going to respond to it again.

Why is everyone shitting on Beckham when he was the best player on the field and caught 5 balls for 90 yards on Norman alone?

i'd still say 43-8 was more embarrassing, given how many unforced errors and mistakes peypey (safety on the first fucking play) and the broncos (opening the second half by allowing a kickoff returned for a td)

the broncos lost in all phases during that game, whereas the panthers' defense actually held their own

because he's also got the emotional stability of a 5-year-old

because ever since his big catch he started getting shilled endlessly so Cred Forums had to hate him regardless of how good he is

He is just reinforcing the whole "WR = Diva" thing

I wish I had a webm to look at it whenever. A friend of mine snapchatted me a vid of it happening, I fucking died laughing

Yeah, I like to interact with people and talk about really just anything. It's one of the reasons why I want to teach. I would like to teach at a college/university, in the art field. The cool thing about a BFA and MFA is that you can do a lot in the general art field. From teaching to being an art director at some company. Because of that I really don't know what I will end up doing, but I do know that I want to teach at some point in my life. I don't currently live in the NE area but want to return, Houston's art scene is good but I prefer Boston's.

Some bands I enjoy are Swans, Jesu, GY!BE, Explosions in the Sky, MBV, God Is an Astronaut, Pelican, and my favorite post-rock album is YRTHAK by The End of Science. You can feel what the band poured into the album, all the raw emotion just oozes from the earphones. It's intense yet calming and even heart breaking at times.

I don't know how often I have to explain this but I'll repeat it as often as possible.

Yes, Cam didn't play well in the SB but no QB would have against that D and peyton didn't look any better. In truth 2 plays decided that game, the catch Cotchery made which never touched the ground but was ruled incomplete followed by the von miller strip sack for a TD 2 plays later in that same drive. Had that been ruled a catch the strip sack would have never happened and the panthers would have been in good position for a TD. That's a potential 14-point swing which if nothing else would have forced OT.

And he didn't go for the fumble because he was in a poor position, he over extended on running for the ball and ended up in a position where if he had gone diwn for it it likely would have gone between his legs and he would have risked injury for nothing. Yes, its the SB and he should have taken the chance but I don't think it would have worked out.

Counterpoint: it literally doesn't fucking matter what his INT% is. If he threw less passes he'd throw less picks, but if your aunt had balls she'd be your uncle. It's irrelevant because he DOES throw that much, so his team is constantly having to deal with the consequences of those picks.

remember all those dome babby memes

You literally understand nothing about football. Brees throws so many passes because he's in a fucking offensive scheme designed around it. Not to mention his defense constantly gets his team into holes so he has to pass to score points because every game is a shoot out.

Please keep trying to argue that Joe Flacco and Alex Smith are better quarterbacks than Drew Brees.

>Please keep trying to argue that Joe Flacco and Alex Smith are better quarterbacks than Drew Brees
That was never my point. Drew Brees is a great quarterback but he's also a financial albatross that keeps the Saints from winning anything. It's not a coincidence that the one time the Saints won the Super Bowl was when the defense led the league in takeaways. Turnover differential is real.

Please don't do this to yourself Brownsbro.

he's a jew, just like pey pey

Rivers is a sharp quarterback who throws for 100s of yards even with injuries.
Fucking Chargers won't even try to help him win a ring.

>two guards in the first round

really makes you think

Why? They need these games. Just tell him to stop running around. He was fine until he started being stupid, running around in a blowout game on a bad ankle. It was just unnecessary and he barely even ran around before that.

Just throw it up for I'm Jimmy.

>tfw harbs shattered dome magic

>causing i'm jimmy to leave the stoop to seek twice-yearly revenge

I'm Jimmy is a breesbabby and isn't a good fit for the hawks. I don't know how you haven't realized this yet.

Aints record in the past four years when Brees throws INT vs when he doesn't:

>1 or more INTs
12-28(30%)

>0 INTs
20-4(83%)

go ahead and tell me 50% is a fucking coincidence

>minuscule thing doesn't go Brady's way, probably won't lose them the game
>throws a fit on the sideline, screams in the face of coaches
>What a leader!

>Giants lose a game Beckham played hard in
>gets pissed and swings his helmet at a net
>WHAT A DIVA DISGRACEFUL CRY BABY

really make syou think

Everyone knows Brady is the biggest crybaby bitch the league has seen since Dan Marino so that's the wrong guy to use

Well how about passing the ball his way for starters. It's not like he didn't have like a 150 yard game last year against Carolina and then the next week like 2 target against the Niners...

Cam really has turned into a statue.

>Jags wasting the #4 overall on a meme player who is a jack of all trades master of none

Brady has 4 rings and a 16 year career at the top of football. He can do whatever he wants.

Beckham is an up and coming meme receiver who plays for a trash team. He needs to shut the fuck up. The NFL literally made a new rule named after him against chimping out

its you fags faults. you kept hating on him and now he's trying be a good lil white guy that can't run.

What are you trying to argue here? That if Brees passed the ball less the Saints would somehow be a better team? As if he even has any control over that in the first place.

Dual threat QBs aren't viable in the NFL

tell that to Russell Wilson

ok, white guy

> Colts drafting a rb instead of a wr
> 18th pick

>Why? They need these games.
>SixPickrick was literally one and a half days ago

all boykin should do is not fuck up and the defense can do literally all the scoring

>it's his team's fault Brees's turnovers cost his team games
now who's the retard

You can't seriously be this stupid. We've already gone over the fact that Brees throws less INTs per passes than most QBs in the league. He also has the same career fumbles as Brady. Now you're trying to somehow pin the blame of Payton's offensive scheme on him.

Please I really mean it this time. Kill yourself.

Seahawks, Chiefs, and Packers are too high in my opinion, but not bad results.

>going up 8 spots for beating the $(ers in centurylink while potentially losing their starting QB even for a week

i see the bandwagon has returned

This is your semi-regular reminder that Von Miller will win NFL MVP this season, being the first defensive player to do it since LT in '86.

>INT%
You might as well bring up the fact Brees hasn't won a Super Bowl since getting his mole removed with regards to the relevance to Brees's INTs being 53% of the difference between winning and losing

>Payton made Brees throw those INTs
No how about you kill yourself

I hope he gets a career ending injury.

that feel when i shit post my fucking predictions for this week and make 5th place for the week, im feelin it boyos

I wasn't exactly always so interested in people and having conversations. It happened when I got into my teens and started being more social. What makes me interested in people is like when I draw or paint a human, it's always so unique. 2 eyes, a nose, mouth, ears, chin, cheeks, forehead, hair, yet you're creating something new each time. That interests me, what comes down to the detail which makes that specific person unique. So in getting to know people, it's kind of the same idea, but instead of looking at their features only, I get to really "dissect" them conversationally.

Yeah I've visited Austin. Their music and art scene used to be good, well, there are still some good art shows out there, but man, fucking Californians are ruining Austin.

Favorite mbv song would be Cupid Come. Honorable mentions would be No More Sorry, You Never Should, Who Sees You, and the whole Loveless album.

Thanks man, I will check out those bands. I'm familiar with Pacific UV, and I have Weighing Souls with Sand by The Angelic Process, fuck that is a good album.

It's ok if he still haunts you, Tom.

im not responding to this shit anymore. im sure im just getting trolled.

The worst example, he's been garbage lately

Is Bernard "Patriot Killer" Pollard still in the league?

>I have no thoughtful response but I need to get the last word
Brees apologists are so pathetic

how did the bears get to be worse than the browns so fast

John Fox is a fraud

He played well against the 49ers despite clearly being injured. Of course if a mobile QB hurts an ankle his performance is going to suffer.

He was a coach being bailed out by his team, as is Kubiak and Wade. Elway is the one running everything.

538 is all numbers based and has very little intuition on players and differences in coaching staff and other big factors that play into how a team can and has won games. If we went by pure numbers there would be a lot of teams in the top 10 right now that are complete trash as a whole but excel in one or two ways whether that be special teams or pure run defense. For example if you took the run defense from the titans which is fairly solid and took their run game, you'd have stats that would outweigh the poor performances in the other areas of their game and would put them above other teams.

TLDR: 583 has no idea what its talking about and wants to use statistics to predict a game thats down to individual efforts and not numbers.

hasn't been since 2014.

>offense was mediocre in the game Hill played
>Bradford hasn't thrown an interception and has been spectacular in one game and managed a game well against a strong defense

538's football shit is stats without context, they need to stick to election.

spotted the unskewed polls guy

>playing well against the 49ers is hard

...

playing well against the 49ers isn't much of a feat desu. if you were to tell me he threw dimes on like the cards or something i'd say yea thats a legit stat to point at, but he's not playing against playoff caliber anything right now and they still lost to the rams.

>if your team has less than 70% chance to make layoffs, they are literally irrelevant

Fuck that just makes me scared, I don't wanna get my hopes up

So, fellow Jets fans, what do you think they'll end the season with? I'm guessing 9-7 or 10-6.

There any hope for this year? Seeing them on C'mon Man broke my spirits. That was almost buttfumble tier.

zim already has a contract extension so there's that good little bit. McCarthy really had some people going when he went for it on 4th against the vikes instead of taking the points. I can feel that rage but i would assume he's still pretty safe.

Week 4 byes are stupid

agreed

it's still the first quarter of the season

Gruden, Caldwell and Fox aren't getting fired.

Vikings are pretty solid. Not much to worry about and it's not like your schedule is full of really big heavy hitters either.

I'm sure we'll be good to make the playoffs, probably even HFA, but I fear getting bounced in the divisional round via some heartbreaking meme play like the Miracle at Mile High or some bullshit

Every
Fucking
Time

Gruden and Caldwell can still turn it around but Fox is on thin ice, he might even be fired by midseason

who /scarred for their qb/ in here?

Found the faggot

Fox would still be getting paid in 2017 and 2018 because of his contract. Firing after a season and a half is a Browns kind of move.

> vs. Panthers, @Broncos, @Seahawks

Do they win one?

no

>take it seriously
>get top

#based

Out of interest, what was I closest on?

Nobody keeps a player or coach around just because of guaranteed money, and Fox is a fraud who isn't going to take the Bears anywhere

Or your kicker missing an easy FG to beat the Seahawks, amirite?

>vs Panthers
Well they did last year and the Panthers were a better team then
>@Broncos
no shot
>@Seahawks
Seacucks aren't as good this year and Wilson is badly hobbled but since it's @Seattle it's not so certain

...

Then why did that old crone McCaskey hire him and fucking Ryan Pace as GM to begin with? Does she like burning down everything her father built?

>Does she like burning down everything her father built?
Why are you asking questions you already know the answer to

I see it DESU

@ Ravens W
v Chargers W
v Chiefs L
@ Jags W
@ Bucs W
v Broncos L
v Texans L
v Panthers L
v Bills W
@ Chiefs W
@ Chargers W
@ Colts W
@ Broncos L

They could easily lose to the Ravens and beat the Texans, or lose to the Bucs but take a win off the Broncos, but it definitely is looking like around 10 wins.

This thread sucks.

Denver sucks.

Mine is

Sup?

Fuck the AFC South tho.

Fuckin' trash.

How'd you wind up being a Vikings fan britbro?

What makes you say that?

I got linked to one of their games by a mate in 2009, didn't pay it much attention, then in 2013 on a Sunday where I was ill from work, I noticed the international series was on, decided to watch it, realised it was the Vikings again, decided to root for them in that game, then continued to keep up with them and got gamepass the season after.

So I'm a very new fan, and I'm lucky that I caught them on the way up.

(Somewhat slightly related, but Purple is also my favouritistimist colo(u)r)

>colo(u)r
Ughhh go away

I remember that game, it was notable for me because I had just started dating my now wife and I was getting her into football but it wasn't going well because the Vikings started 0-3 that season and were playing Pittsburgh, her father's favorite team. That was the day I got her hooked onto it.

that's fine because Brady will win SB MVP

How do all the white betalings itt feel that they will never be as gorgeous as von miller?
How does it feel to know your god tom brady is an ugly scrawny white kid who gets cucked regularly by the superior black man?

Well, at the time I didn't know how poor their start was, but I just remember looking at the scores for the next couple of weeks and just seeing Ls for what, 5 or 6 weeks? It was par the course for the teams I support though.

Sorry for that, but there is a U in colour.

new

Because they have played against three of the worst run defenses in the league.
