I'm so happy this is a webm.

definitely a huge power gap after #3

So can anyone actually, by the book, explain exactly what the fuck that "untimed down" shit was at the end of the Chargers Colts game?

I've never before seem something like that. Is it a new rule this year?

They mentioned something along the lines of "A game can't end on a defensive penalty"

Just like last season

>Uncucked
>Having the Steelers that high when they were just cucked by the black Pennsylvania city

Are you serious? It has always been like that. It's to prevent the defense from not even attempting to play football on a final play/drive. If the game could end on a defensive penalty, they would just hold, interfere, be offsides, whatever to prevent anything from possibly happening. But if the game can't end like that, they have to play real defense until the final whistle.

Just like your mom. Hahaha

Look at how high the Iggles are though

That's Loony Toons caliber shit right there.

>we have at least 1 more week of intolerable Eagles fans shitposting because the NFL gave them a week 4 bye

Makes sense. I've just never seen such a delay between a supposedly last play and and extra free down like that.

Of course I have only seen a few hundred games and 9 out of 10 of them end with victory formation and taking a knee.

...

Is Elliot Harrison gay? Literally every time he's on NFL Network he has to make a comment about some guy's clothing or his look.

Maybe after the Broncos win the owl again this year they'll finally stop being so underrated by the media.

How did your guys do, /nfl/?

Why do Josh Norman and OBJ hate eachother?

They don't

Beating weak defenses with a meme qb

>denver vs tb

this snibs the snab legs

They beat the Panthers who are currently the 3rd ranked defense in the NFL

There's still tension from their failed romantic relationship?

>analysts

Maybe last season lmao

dont @ me again

Why can't Saints have a defense ? They got rid of Fabio Ryan, things should be a little better right ?

Holy fuck you retards they are 3rd in yards allowed per game

Thoughts?

...

Yet they're 1-2

>Run defense

>After playing games against teams with no running game and STILL LOSING

Because they can't draft for shit and they have spend no resources on CBs in years it feels like. I like Crawley as an UDFA but damn this is a proper shit the bed season for NOLA

>Yards allowed

Don't do this

How do you objectively rank a defense then? This is the standard everyone has always gone by.

>denver
>no running game

tipu topu keku

a team could allow 0 yards of offense and still lose

yards mean fuck all

>implying that yards alone can account for the quality of a defense when a team can get low yards-against if the other team is getting good field position

Are the Eagles gonna be like last year's Carolina?

A team doing immensely well out of nowhere

Scores, takeaways, wins

You obviously don't understand what is being argued. Lurk more.

Because of a soft as fuck schedule? Yes its possible

Yes because the Iggles got the same easy schedule as the Panthers did last season

only one of those things depends soley on the defense
yeah the eagles and vikings will probably bulldoze through their babby schedules then get BTFO in the owl by the pats or bronkeks

1. Points per game
2. Turnovers
3. 3rd down %
4. Sack totals

In that order

>pats or broncos
>again

why doesn't the AFC have any parity?

>btfo by pats OR broncos
>implying denver beats the pats in NE

Because Belichek is a coaching/GM god, and he won't just fucking die/retire already.

The Broncos just got good again, so I don't get your complaint there.

Most of the organizations are honestly dumpster fires

>Colts and their shitty GM
>Texans forever 8-8
>Jags and Titans can never get it together
>Dolphins overpay for every shit free ageny
>Razorcakes
>Raiders were run into the ground by Al so they'll need another year or two to catch up
>Chargers and their exploding knees
>Just...the Browns

Then you have the usual wildcard teams like the Chiefs and Bengals who can't win playoff games to save their lives

Ad yes I know the Chiefs won one last year but it was against the Texans who had no business even being in the playoffs

Because the 2 most competently run franchises play there, along with some of the most inept ones (Browns, AFC South, Chorgers, Raiders, Bills, Lelphins)

I think the Broncos will get home field advantage again because their regular season game against the Pats is in Denver for the second year in a row. Brady is 2-7 in Denver and those two wins came against Tim Tebow and Danny Kanell. They'll probably both go 12-4 again and the Broncos will get the tiebreaker.

Thoughts?

youtu.be/2VJ50821pp0

Bengals DBs a shit and Siemian had two throws that should have been easy picks. He's an Eli Manning in the making.

That sounds like you just said that he'll win two owls. Not bad at all. Luck over skill any day of the week.

>soft as fuck

We just beat one of the best offenses in football, a SB favorite in fact.

We still have to play the Vikes, Seahawks, Packers, and Bengals.

>soft as fuck

>Eli Manning in the making

Lucky Denver

Not if the Patriots win more games

Perfect example of delusion

>winning 2 super bowls
>both cucking the pats, one of which was 18-1

I'm down.

Any of you see a ring in person? They're real heavy and feel good on the hand.

...

I don't know what fans are worse, Giants Fans or Broncucks fans

>he thinks the Packers and Bengals are good.

Packers will make the playoffs on the back of their piss easy schedule for sure though. If I remember right they had the easiest according to preseason strength of schedule

>not wanting Eli and 2 rings

Sup assblasted Pats fan?

>tries to lambast other teams
>posts anime

Activating my almonds over here

For some reason I found this webm hilarious kek

Both of those teams are good though. Not great but they're in the 8-12 range for sure

I don't know why that webm is so funny to me, but it is.

>qbs in fantasy are eli memeing @ minnesota and
Famous Jameis @ Denver
fugggg

Here ya go
youtu.be/SfFpe2sJIbc

Pick up Tannehill or Cousins breh. Bet one of them is sitting unclaimed right now and they've both been on fire with good matchups this week

Can't you pick up some free agent scrub ? Gotta be better than two int throwers against the best defenses in the league, right ?

start autism man

he just shit the bed against >Washington so its time for a 5 TD day against a good defense

>An Running Back

Trust me, start Winston. The Broncos are out of good luck

Eli @ Vikings easy decision

Probably gonna be ugly but he'll throw a lot so expect 4 TDs, 3 Ints

Jameis is about to put up 40

>tfw Jaguars
plz gut the entire coaching staff

at least Ramsey looks good. in 3 games, 1/13 on passes allowes, and had a tip ball go for a pick

Should I drop Stewart for Giovanni Bernard?

lol I watched a lot of Bucs vs Rams actually dat boi Humphries is gonna be a great weapon for the Bucs over the next few years

Should bring back Coughlin tbqh

Start Jaemis. I'm his uncle, and he will do good, I promise. He is very good and in shape right now, and better than almost all other qbs in the league, and I am his uncle, trust me.

>Kenny Bell had really good chemistry with Winston a couple years ago
>got hurt and then cut
>still unsigned

Man I was rooting for him

Don't listen to this guy. My uncle works for the NFL and says that Winston will struggle Sunday

I'm sure the jags will get desperate mid-season and he'll get his shot.

Jameis Winston here, I will domin8

>Panthers let go of Josh Norman
>start the season 1-2

Really makes you think

>Norman is now on the Redskins
>they're 1-2

Hmmm

Norman is a controversy babby

ay this ya boi Jameis, I'm tellin y'all we gon be skrong dis week

if we dont win, someone gettin in my ass

Well that settles it

>Norman
>I c-cried when I lost the super bowl
>but that's ok b-because I shut down Demariyus Thomas

Yeah, who cares, DT's hands are made of butter anyway

Jameis is confirming that he will do great this week. I have it from two reliable sources.

I don't follow the NL that much, so please explain me how Brees, a manlet QB, has so many passing records. Yesterday he had a bunch of literally who receivers and he ended up with 300+ yards. Did he had some Hall of Famers receivers before this season?

There are controversy babbies now?
Checked BTW

>1-2 at week 3 last year so nothing changed
Hmmm

He throws the ball really far.

The more you lose, the more you have to throw. He had a great TE which helped, and a group of above-average receivers who stayed around for a while. Not to mention that he had some rbs who could catch out of the backfield. Now he has some nice young talent around, so he'll probably keep it up for a while.

he's a garbage time stat padding piece of shit that peaked when NO didn't have New Orlean's levees during Katrina for a defense

>Allowed Odell "Midol" Beckham to torch his ass

Hmmmmmmm

He's played on a team with no defense for years so he has to throw to keep them in games. Also he plays in a dome at home so he doesn't have to worry about shit conditions for at least half the games a year

>Torch

Hahaha

That happened last year too though

Falcons fan detected

gumbo shitter detected

Buzzard fucker detected

Right, and he sucked ass last year too

Real Talk:

How do you think the Cowboys will end this season?

Walking off the field after a week 17 win

He didn't suck. Odell has GOAT potential, and the stats to prove it. Norman is a pretty good corner, and he does pretty good.

8-8 still
Dak will get hurt slightly then be hindered to lose a couple games and lose confidence then Dez will Dez out and shit himself

>23. Falcons

kys

thanks for this one

Do they have any plans afterwards?

>implying beating that saints defense is even a challenge

...

This guy played good. I am happy for him.

>objectively the best offense in the league
>ranked 23rd overall

Cocaine, and off-season workouts

>thinking moving the ball on the Saints, Raiders or Buccs is impressive

The Raiders and Saints are literally the 2 worst defenses in the league and its not even close

>using the term "objectively the best" before mid-season
Data-sets; Do you know how to use them?

espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/total

>tfw #2 offense

The Giants must be ass then to only score 16 points

forget the times, weeks and days from long long ago

that is what the pictures are for

so that you can clear your mind

of the past

will lake ruin another falcons season?

Lake is dead so the curse is lifted

A Falcons mob probably came to his house and shoved a football until he had internal bleeding

Good catch there, slim.

I mean literally one of the worst offenses in the league to only score 16 points. Probably THE worst offense to ever play the game.

They still had 400 yards on them though. Typical Giants day of disappointing against a shit team

they are :^)

>Three best offenses all have the three worst offenses
>also all played each other

Hmmmm....

>Philly has only allowed 27 points all year

WHY CAN'T MY TEAM'S DEFENSE GET HOT?!

Not that bad. A bad offense, outside of one remarkable skill player, having a bad week.

worst defenses I mean

>best offense
>can't win a game

Haha o wow

because raiders gonna raid all the hype and never deliver

...

Raiders have the real Madden curse, senpai

This is the Good Team filter

-------------------------------------

You can only post under this line if your team is not a complete dissapointment.

Not so fast, Panthers!

That's true. You can't really gauge because it's rotated between the same few teams so far.

I know the Raiders D dominated the Titans but they're shit anyways.

I have Brandon Marshall, Decker, Enunwa (long story as to how I got them all). Who should I drop to get Marvin Jones? I feel Enunwa should be gone but he gets the most targets and Marshall has been playing like trash....

>using that shit version

they always play TO the level of their opponent. Unless divisional, its weird,

or
>play good team quite well or good the other

Only for a few game last year did they break the trend

No

Maybe Miami will pull some meme magic like their last TNF game against the Bengals

Man i thought the AFCE was gonna be bettter than this, now it looks like
NE12-4
BUF MIA NYJ 6-10/ 7-9

mods=gods

honestly I never had any hope this year, the pats were obviously going to win it again this year.

fuck it's bad being a yankees/jets/devils/knicks fan right now

that bucs trip rambling on about weird shit

I wish our shitty as fuck GM was fired already so we can start to build a good defense with someone competent

on the bright side Ryan looks a lot better in Shany's offense than he did last year

Didn't think the jests and Bills were gonna be this shitty, everyone knew Miami was gonna flop tho. Weird desu

Dline is literally the ONLY good D players, Save Reshad Jones and Kiko Alanso fucking secondary and LB is a train wreck even when healthy, we started losing LBers this game too

and tbf to the shit secondary Pryor is no slouch

>Brady comes back just in time to face the winless (and they will be 0-4) Browns
Is this, dare I say, the year? The year that we go completely balls-out and shut out a team by 60+ points?

THIS THREAD HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER BY BLM WE RUN THIS SHIT

THE NFL OPPRESSES AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN MORE THAN ANY OTHER ENTITY IN THE WORLD

WE ARE SOLD AND AUCTIONED TO THE HIGHEST WHITE BIDDER TO PLAY IN FRONT OF WHITE FANS

NO FREE TICKETS TO MINORITIES = NO PLAYING THIS SEASON

WE WILL NOT REST UNTIL MARSHAWN LYNCH IS CONSIDERED JUST AS INTELLIGENT AS DREW BREES (CAVE BEAST)

desu billy i think kinda feels for the city of cleveland. If you look at pat games vs cleveland a lot of them are surprisingly not blowouts

oh yeah i forgot you guys lost Grimes to the Busc

well at least you're not a 49er fan right now...

fuck that bitrate went to shit on dis

k

I never really doubted Ryan. He had a down year last year but he always bounces back.

But I'll wait till a few more games before crowning this offense. They looked this hot the first 4 games last season too and then became dogshit.

Go back to sleep, Colin

just a reminder of that hot read option to nobody

>handing off to nobody

Who thought this was a good idea?

Ryan had a down year for the same reason Peyton and Eli had down years under the west coast offense. It completely changes what they're doing. In the first year veteran QBs tend to struggle, but usually the next year they light it up because it's second nature again like they're old offense was. Shanny's offense might be even more geared to Ryan's strengths than Koetter's was.

Fuck off Grbac

True.
You'd also think that the >18-1s or the 2010 or 2011 teams would already have destroyed a team by that magnitude; but the 59-0 (>allowing35 points in 1 quarter) snow game was in 2009.
The biggest blowout for the >18-1s was 56-10 against the Razorcakes, and there's a few other 50-pointers for the millennial Pats, but not by win margin

45-3 bothers me more than buttfumble because that team was actually good

joe flacco has never had a 400 yard game

Miko was fucking CANCER
which reminds me of Jamar Taylor
tho he picked off Tanne he got BLOWN THE FUCK UP by landry on that OT drive

Is that good or bad?

The Vikings have allowed 3 passong TDs in 3 games vs the league's two best QBs. Two of which came from memeiota. You actually have fucking down syndrome kys tripshit

the "pushing penalty" game bothers me more than the playoff one-and-out because it was such blatant refball

that is surprising considering how much of a DPI babby he is

is flacco the all time Penalty Yardage leader qb?

kek that game was such a meme

2013 was a surprisingly fun year

>both geno and brady got pick sixed in the same game

not to mention that injured as fuck 2013 Pats team would have a record equal to the greatest scoring offense in NFL history, all while having a harder schedule

Jets and Dolphins both have bizzare ass backwards ways of staying on NEs level

tho i don't think 2015 counts for MIA at all, considering WHY they won that game

How vengeful will Brady be upon his return?

Hopefully that's the case. I just don't want to be burned again like last year with the amazing start to the offense.

Also, I don't understand why we're having Ryan running read option plays. Shanahan needs to stop being cute with bullshit like that.

Just stop. We all know you are white. There is no need to embarrass yourself like this.

haha, reminds of that gif of someone (DeSean Jackson?) getting knocked out of bounds and completely taking out the other team's Gatorade cooler

like I said 60 vs. the Oranges. It's gonna happen, cap it

i think he'll exact his revenge on the Bengals NOT the Browns. desu. Like after the Chefs BTFO him in 2014

He'll be too hyped and throw 2 ints vs the Browns

>Like after the Chefs BTFO him in 2014

Panthers going 17-2 again

Chip thought it worked, it just needed to be executed at a higher tempo

how are they allowed to have such and easy fucking schedule, what a joke

he does usually make 1 or 2 "WTF were you thinking" throws per game but mostly gets away with it

good one
it's like the Bears when they went 18-1, except they actually won the Super Bowl

>Panthers
>having back-to-back successful seasons

Pick uno.

What if, Hana, the raiders, just like, beat Carolina lol, by like 1 point, that'd be crazy haha

...

>1 point,
>1 post off

It is confirmed

that team had a lot of near losses too though, like the saints one, and the broncos won would have been a tie if welker didnt fumble most likely, and even the first jets one

>Panthers fans immediately after

yeah, that was a fun but ultimately doomed year. Not even Brady could have beaten the complete Legion of Boom in the Owl

Yackety sax esque

>Broncos not on top of any rankings
When the only team with a chance, NE, gets shit on again, people will realize they cant stop the repeat.

Broncos only win when they have an old QB falling apart

Fuck off p12

try again. it's the Pats' AFCCG to lose, deal with it

Von Miller mvp?

>everyone's face when Brady gets his third MVP and fourth SB MVP

You fucks are so delusional it hurts. You never have an argument, just memes.
>Best defense in league
>Much better offense
Gonna be nice drinking Patsfags tears come Febuary. Get btfo fag.

>Stafford is top 6 in every relevant stat
>He'll be even better after molesting the Bears this week

Just give him the MVP right now

i feel like brady cant win mvp this season by default since his team is going to be 4-0 without him

right now I think mvp is von miller or Carson Wentz LEL

Wentz could possibly be ROTY, not sure about MVP.

Has a rookie ever gotten MVP?

Pasts are much better than the broncos WITHOUT even Brady, undeniable

Too bad he's on the Loins desu

I remember that game, staff and mega cucked the cowshits so hard, it was glorious

Come back when you're #1 in every relevant stat

>NE, gets shit on again
>again
When was the last time the Patriots got shat on by the Broncos?

I wanna say Earl Campell or Jim Brown, but bnack then 'MVP' was a bit different

Except you have no stats or facts to back that up. Your team is shit, accept Denver is repeating.

>lions lose
>lions jump up 3 spots cuz our offense is elite

Thank you based Marvin

you srs?

look up brady's record in milehigh

I can't wait until the Falcons fuck the Broncos and Seahawks so everyone can say those defenses were always trash.

neither do you, 3/10 for making me respond

>Dallas goes up 8 spots in power rankings

why

>pats anything but a home game if Denver makes it past the first round

>Brady and the Patriots have played in Denver eight times and Brady is 2-6 in those games, a total that includes an 0-2 mark in the postseason.

Except Talib or Harris can hold Julio, then what happens?

It was a miracle that they reached the Superbowl last year desu, they had so many breaks go their way

Le Dak and Zeke against garbage teams maymay

Why does ESPN love the Cardinals so much?

>The only two wins that Brady and the Patriots have pulled out in Denver over the past 15 years came when the Broncos had to start Danny Kanell (2003) and Tim Tebow (2011) at quarterback.

>Statistically top 5 Defense

>he hasn't looked at Denvers schedule

they play both Souths this year.

>Blount is leading all running backs

What the hell? Did someone break all the rbs week one or something?

Most of these games are one possession games that could've gone either way. If losing in OT or on a 2 point conversion counts as "getting shat on" then what are you going to call Denver allowing 43 points and losing by 21 at Gillette?

In the last 10 years, the only time the Patriots lost there by more than 1 possession was when Brady's top targets were Edelman, Hoomanawanui, Dobson and Austin Collie.

Patsfags trying so hard to stay relevent. When your team is elite, you can post, till then mods please ban.

They absolutely destroyed the Panthers, but they were lucky to get to the Superbowl. They squeeked out 5-6 wins last year. They're doing it again this year so who knows

So glad that didn't happen. The stories of whether or not Russ was already elite would be through the roof

>Patsfags trying to shit talk a team that beat them twice last year including the AFCCG with 2 different QBs
>A team thats given them their last two playoff losses

Seriously you guys can shit talk almost any other team BUT that one.

The defense is clutch. Its not just luck anymore.

We literally sat here last year and explained this.

So was Bridgewater a meme or what? Vikings sure aren't missing him.

Pats fags are the SJWs of Cred Forums. No evidence for their claims, so they scream and meme till they are noticed.

He was probably just good enough to keep their TOP up and their offense on the field, when it's their defense that's been winning them games.

No he was decent, but the defense is carrying the team.

It was mostly luck. They had to have a lot of breaks go their way. Pitt and NE have to have loads of injuries. The Bengals both have to lose to Pitt and fumble in OT against the Broncos in the regular season. They have to not be gifted the regular season win over NE. They need two lucky bounces off fumbles for them to recover during the Owl. They need a bunch of one-score games to land their way.

Basically, if they don't get home-field, if the other teams aren't completely beat up, if the Bengals meet them in the playoffs, they're donezo.

>being proud of not being a SJW

Social justice is bad? What's wrong with equality? Me being a Pats fan is irrelevant, but bragging about not being a SJW is dumb.

>if
>if
>if

Lol

Him dying is the best thing to happen to the Eagles AND Vikings in every way

that webm is top kek

Im bragging about using logic and not just yelling the same argument over and over like SJWs do. You must new, child.

Except every team gets lucky breaks. Git gud, friendo.

not even a donkey fan, but jesus dude. you really think if you don't win by two scores it can be chalked up to luck?

I'm not saying they didn't deserve it. Peyton got robbed in 12/13 and the defense was playing lights out. Still, you'd have to be delusional to think they didn't also accrue an astronomically high amount of luck.

play actually worked nicely

nigga just can't complete a very rudimentary catch.

Everyone complaining. Do you people understand how physically painful it is to watch this defence for the third fucking year in a row. Sometimes i turn off the TV when they are on d just because I can't take the third and long completions/runs anymore.

On the bright side, I don't even feel the losses anymore.

All that D needs is a game manager

What will it take to make the Jets good?

That's a classic case of
>tha's so brown's

in effect
and this is it cranked up to 11

Why would anyone think that they'd miss him? It was clear from the start that Bradford would be an upgrade

The defense isn't bad, they just have a ton of injured players out.

No, thats how most Super Bowls runs go.

The only but of luck I'd concede is the Bengals fucking up the Steelers in the wild card.

Everything else is fair play and on the field. Denver doesn't get penalized for New England choking away home field.

Try flying around the twin towers this time instead of into them

our qb not throwing six interceptions would be a start

IF he just didn't throw those 6 interceptions it would have been a close game

I realize Fitz is a weak link, but what else do they need to actually be dominant and not a fucking joke.

kek

Their offense actually looked good in that Bills game.

>mfw Brees apologists try to claim he doesn't cost his team games with his INTs when his pick six was literally the difference making play last night

no really, that chiefs game was pretty much all Fitz's fault aside from the special teams touchdown

i realize it's not always the qb's fault but that game it literally was

Broncos should br forced to move their stadium to sea level

Should i trade julio for leveon bell ?

who are your other rbs and wrs

Really, tho with an actual qb and a new OC, that team would be scary. I realize Chan has done some good things, but he's fool's gold. He's the Ryan Fitz6picks of OC's.

Nigga, stop it. You don't even know how you beat the Pats once, nevermind twice

vs Patriots week 12

>early 4th quarter, Pats up by 14
>patriots PR muffs a punt
>Broncos TD

>next drive, Pats up by 7
>Brady completes a 50 yard pass that would put the Pats in the DEN 30, so they would get at least a FG
>flagged for holding, Patriots punt and Denver get a FG

>last Broncos drive, Pats up by 4
>Osweiller sacked on a 2nd and 7 for -8 yards
>flagged for defensive holding, 3rd and 15 turns into 1st and goal at the 4

Pats had 3 chances to close out the game, a muffed punt and 2 flags keep the Broncos in the game

>vs Patriots AFCCG

>Gostkowski missed a PAT after making like a million straight
>Pats have to go for two and fail

>Pats have 3 redzone drives in the last quarter
>if they kick the FG everytime they win by 1
>they decide to go for it on 4th every time and lose by 2

The Patriots have O linemen that are semi-competent at run blocking this year and are running more because Brady is out. For the past few 2-3 years whoever our RB was would just get tackled in the backfield on every run play.

They could just seal it up and pressurize it

>The Pats fucking up and being shook as hell means Denver got lucky

>>patriots PR muffs a punt
it's also important to note that it wasn't just any punt returner. It was a practice squad guy signed the week before who only returned punts because everyone else was ded

Emanuel sanders, christine micheal, cj anderson, allan robinson

Gailey is a great OC though, at least to what we had in the ryan era

I wouldn't make the trade, you're good enough at running back that you don't need one coming off a knee injury, even one as talented as LB. Micheal should eat a lot now that rawls is hurt and anderson is great. Julio's usage will go up. Last night was an anomaly.

So basically once a QB pans out for the Jets they will be pretty solid?

>Seahawks
>7

If any other team had done that poorly against the fucking dolphins and got nearly shut out by the Rams, they would be hanging out in the high teens.

Seahawks are a sloppy fucking team who have been on a screaming decline since their super bowl win.

no because this team is aging. IT was a solid team(10-6) last year but everyone on our offense is old. Revis is Old.

the jets had a very small window last year in an injured AFC but it's gone now and I am just hoping Mike M keep's drafting/trading well so it's not much of a rebuild.

espn has them at 3. that is ridiculous.

I have no idea why the Seahawks get such inflated rankings. I know the Seahawks have a time-honored tradition of losing to the Rams, but the haven't looked good in either of these games, and it's not as if they have even gone up against an actual team yet.

Fucking kek, so Pats put out players on the field but their loss is a "fluke" Because of some arbitrary reason.

K den

>Broncos defense holds offenses to 4/28 on 3rd downs heading into the super bowl
>F-f-fluke!

Buncos aren't repeating kek

but muh yards

>can only beat the fucking $(Ers

god please let the dick sucking of the 12s end in a blazing glory this year

>Broncos aren't going to win the AFC West
>Broncos aren't going to get the 1st seed
>Broncos aren't getting past the Steelers
>Broncos DEFINITELY can't beat the Pats and Brady
>OK but the Broncos can't win the Owl haha
>B-Broncos aren't repeating

Lol

All is right in the world again

>beat a bottom 2 team after losing to a bottom 5 team and barely beating Miami at home
>get ranked top 5

jesus fucking shit

owl will be Bronkeks vs Vikings with Trevor Siemian throwing a game-clinching interception to Captain Munnerlyn at the goal line

it will be pottery

cap it

seahawks lost to the rams in 2014 too though and they won the NFC

>#4 after beating detoilet @home
>after nearly blowing a huge lead against them

>implying anyone on the Vikings offensive line can hold Von Miller

JUST

These tears are delicious, even better when D3nv3r gets the 4th.

Delicious

I'm glad the Broncos exist.

It means the Patriots will always have a nutsack lodged firmly in their mouth.

Vikings will just chip him with a tight end and use quick passes

What team this year will have a spectacular mid-season collapse a la the 2015 Falcons?

giggles

The Falcons.

October is going to be brutal for them.

This, Rhett Ellison is getting a lot of snaps to be an extra blocker. Morgan is a decent blocker as well and then Pruitt I feel like will be a good third passing option, then reliable blocker.

Panturds

Falcons are going to lose their next 3 games. At least two. Good chance to beat Carolina.

>the seahawks and cardinals are the 3rd and 5th best bird teams respectively
>one will probably still make the offs because >naners >rasm
>the packers will probably have to play said team

So when do we transition from unbeaten club to .700 club? Is it determined by the week or number of unbeaten teams

Do you think it will happen at some point? Will they find their Bill Belichick and Tom Brady?

Next week are gonna be both, unbeaten thread made by fan of one of the unbeaten clubs and 700 made by a fan of a lesser club

hey but for real who is starting for the pats? is jimmy gabagool healed?

apparently jimmy g doesnt want to start anymore after the pats tried to force him to play thru it on TNF

it'll probably be brissett

130 Days Until the Seahawks Win Super Bowl LI.

How do you collapse a 1-2 start?

I really hope Trump or Hillary genocides all fucking namefags on here

trump is going to make tripfags great again

I'm expecting the Vikes or Broncos. Those defenses will have to have a few bad weeks or else they'll burn out in the playoffs.

people are still slobbering on their cock

nothing wrong with namefriends
its the tripfags you should be after

>fire OC
>defense becomes better

How?

...

I think that game said more about the cardinals than the razorcakes

lul

I like the first one better but this one's nice too

>This schedule

Where are the losses? Divisional games and New England are the best bets.

Shit though, Tampa Bay, Jax, AND Titans on the schedule. AFC West might get 3 teams in the playoffs.

>AFC West might get 3 teams in the playoffs.

And none of them will be >my Chargers. :(

Ravens, you can't keep on barely beating these really weak teams. They have a really babby schedule until week 11. I expect them to lose the last 6 of 7 games of the season.

Pretty reasonable, something else with the vikings/broncos. I don't see the broncos offense growing as much as bradford will

jags arent a cakewalk, they are a lot better this year

bortles is legit, 35 tds last year

Bortles is regressing and liable to throw 3 picks against that defense

did you actually watch it? palmer didn't have his best game, but i think the bills definitely deserve some credit for it.they threw the cards of with a surprise 7 man secondary (called a quarter package i think) and still got pressure rushing three lineman, and throwing occasional weird ass corner and safety blitzes. rex actually had a good game plan, and lynn called better plays on offense. though it was the same offense.

@Chargers @Raiders @Saints, vs Patriots.

Those are big plays teams, I wouldn't trust the second year 7th rounder in a shootout.

They'll lose one @ Oakland or @ Kansas City

t. Broncos fan

>@Chargers

Not so sure about that. By the time Denver comes here half of the starters will be on IR.

>Shootout

Yeah, that AJ Green/Dalton combo lit Denver up.

I'd rather pick broncos to lose division games at home than on the road. They haven't lost road div game in few years

Dalton is an overrated QB, Green is legit though, they were also missing Eifert.

Brees. Rivers, Carr, can sling it to anyone it feels like.

>Carr

"no"

I'm just saying.

Dalton was leading the league in yards before the Denver game. I don't think they'll find themselves in shootouts too often.

I'd expect Brees to get yards because thats what he does, but Carr had 2 low scoring games against Denver last year.

Yes. He is a good QB.

>"B-BUT REMEMBER THAT BLOCKED PUNT A DECADE AGO?"

Carr is a good QB though

Yeah I don't see the Raiders will get in a shootout with the Broncos. Still think the Broncos lose 1 to the Raiders though

Is Jalen mills elite?

Lots of short throws and then YAC.

Bortles has a Tebow/Leftwich tier wind up now and will throw a shit ton more picks if he doesn't change it.

I want to get high off the Fumes of Dak Prescotts fermented shit

He's seriously regressing because of Gus. He needs a decent coach to get better.

...

Man that's a shit release, what happened? Was it always this bad?

Bortles is killing my fantasy team.

Keep in mind alshon Jeffrey, Antonio brown, Corey Coleman and Terrell Pryor couldn't score a TD on him in coverage

>#Vikings bring Willie Beavers up to the active roster

RIP vikebros, Alex Boone is dinged up. One of the worst OT in college Beavers is now on the 53 man roster.
>profootballfocus.com/draft-the-16-worst-picks-of-the-2016-nfl-draft/

>*O-line shuffle intensifies*

Just let Bradford die already so I can get much top 5 pick

Nah, time to start running 3 TE, blocking RB at all times.

Tbh, Diggs, Theilen and Treadwell who is yet to play are the only worthwhile WR's.

Do the Eagles run a 3-4 or 4-3 defense?

I've been noticing a trend with Jim Schwartz that whenever he coaches a 4-3 defense with a heavy focus on man coverage, the defense doesn't end up playing too well. But whenever he coaches a 3-4 with an emphasis on zone, the defense becomes elite.

4-3 wide nine man coverage

Well technically Stafford's real first name is John.

Its good to be king :)

Jeff Fisher will fail you as you go 7-9 all over again.

Excuse my ignorance, but how has his motion changed and why is it "bad" now?

when did he coach a 3-4? he's definitely a wide 9 guy. his one year in buffalo it was crazy effective.

Huh, maybe he's just gotten better at running the 4-3, or maybe he just didn't have the talent to run it correctly in the past. Wonder why the Lions defense was always dog shit under him.

>that list

feels so damn good to not see the 49ers on it anywhere

Chip ran a 3-4, except with 4-3 personnel. Schwartz runs a 3-4 with heavy emphasis on the front 4. A lot of movement with a lot of rotations to keep everyone fresh. Oddly enough, with the sheer versatility of our safeties and linebackers, we only had 2 or 3 active Cornerbacks the first 3 weeks in Mills, Carroll and Brooks, who is more of a safety anyway

wtf are you talking about Schwartz has always ran a 4-3

I can't speak for if it's changed, but that throwing motion is awful. He's got a huge wind up which means it takes longer for him to release the ball. Which gives defenders in coverage more time to react to the throw, leading to more interceptions and usually more sack. You want as quick a release as possible. Compare Bortles release to Carr's here

Schwartz runs a 4-3*

Stay mad shithawks :)

This is OUR YEAR and you know it XD

ok, makes sense now

Optirasm , I like it

>Is it a new rule this year
How much of a newfag are you? One of the most shitposted plays last year was the Packers untimed hail mary win due to a finger mask on rodgers. Even amateur football has it. Just a few weeks ago a game was decided on a hail mary lateral.

Saints

>Joique Bell to the Bears

Disgusting and obsessive.

I wonder if Bosa will play this week.

Bears still have one thing your team will never have m8. It's silver and tall and really shiny.

no

you guys have lady gaga?

Based Zeke

No. The Lombardi trophy and the all time most wins.

Ok Gramps

I can still remember the game like it was yesterday. My father remembers the days of Halas too.

Denver is the best team in the league at winning close games.

piss poor comeback when only your GREAT gramps can remember the last Lions Championship senpai

>the all time most wins

Packers will take that from you. Enjoy it while you can.

Packers aren't fit to hold Halas' hat son.

>post ends in 57
Fitting, your DAD probably wasnt even ALIVE for that championship

O fancy.

Most wins all time must have added up to a lot of Owls.

My uncle played with Bobby Layne.

There are literally 0 coaches in Chicago history good enough to sniff Lombardi's balls

how fucking old are you? youd have to be AT LEAST 50 or so. unless your grandma/mom was one foul old fuck

Mad at Lions?

These teams are allowed to brag about Owl victories. The rest of you are past-living cucks unstable at your team's recent failures.

Lambeau/Halas are a more accurate comparison in this case

>pretending to be a trip

they're literally just biased morons who cherry pick stats

He was playing more snaps than DRC who moved to the slot. This professional sports analysis agency somehow doesn't know that but puts a list together.

>Aguayo
>Hackenburg

well, yeah

This was before the draft was done my man

Guys like Aguayo and Sackenberg speak for themselves. Aguayo because even the greatest kicker is still just a fucking kicker, and Hackensack because the only good thing people can say about him is his team probably made him look bad and it's most likely bullshit anyway.

they knew the picks before the draft? that's impressive

That is a piss poor easy schedule

Iggles are the best team in the NFC

Vikings will lose first

2 of your 3 games were against the worst two teams in the league, calm down son. You can get your credit if you keep winning and beat more real teams, right now your resume sucks.

>Fruechte back at Vikings (practice)

Dangerously over the limit on white WRs in one team.

>14. (5.375) Dallas Cowboys [+4, +0.496]
>16. (5.313) New York Giants [-5, -0.899]
but Giants beat da Boys

you do realize that power rankings are not determined by the transitive property right? in fact almost nothing in sports is.

You would pick the Cowboys to beat the Giants?

that's not even what power rankings are.

cowboys beat the Redskins the Giants didn't

It's just the browns

It's just the bears

b buu buut it's just the steelers

>giants beat cowboys
>cowboys beat redskins
>redskins beat giants

I agree. We've got a pretty tough test ahead the next 9 games.
Who knows what the line will play like with Lane Johnson gone.

No the steelers are a good win, but it's your only good win. You can brag about that, but you don't get to claim that you're top class until you have the schedule to back it up. The Browns and Bears being most of your wins right now makes you look bad.

they stomped the steelers, you sound scared right now

Should I trade my Baldwin for Jamal Charles? I already have robinson, Alshon, Shepard, and Marvin Jones.

Eagles will beat them all and go out in the first round

It's 2006 again yay!

I want New England to steal Tyrelle Pryror from Cleveland. I haven't seen a WR with that kind of utility since Troy Brown.

the Browns Front Office is retarded and he's a free agent next year too.

>thinking the falcons wont ruined their record again

this season is such a meme

My team doesn't play the eagles and won't be in the playoffs, there's nothing for me to be scared about. Not everyone who isn't gushing praise for your team is a hater. I even said the steelers were a good win, it's just not enough yet to say you're definitely the best team in the NFC. Keyword being yet. You're looking good so far, the point is that when you take it in context that you also played the 2 worst teams in the league, I'm just saying slow your roll.

Quick, post the most unappreciated player on your team so far this season

*underappreciated

Its Lavonte David, every year.

...

Why are ESPN power rankings so fucking retarded?

>New England beats the 2-0 Toxins 27-0 with their third string quarterback
>Drop a spot in the rankings
kys espn faggots

im guessing cause they felt the broncos beat a better team on the road?

power rankings are about 32 teams, not just yours

The 1-2 bengals are not a better team than the 2-1 Texans

It's funny how every Patriots opponent gets talked up before the game, only to be called "bad teams" after they inevitably lose to New England. The bias is fucking astounding.

last chance for people to join up for the next season of textegg before the draft happens, in 4 hours the game clock will advance to the next day. you can technically join any time, but getting the 3 players from the draft is an enormous boost to the trash team you start with, can't stress that enough.

it might be possible to join up on the same day of the game clock but before the draft starts, I just don't know exactly at what time the draft happens. if you join up after the draft though, your team gets purged and you start with an entirely fresh RNG team, even if the team you just took over would have drafted a good player, so it's crucial to make it in beforehand.

first game of the next season starts saturday, with games being played every tuesday and saturday and supercup games on mondays and thursdays.

didnt say the texans were bad, but I always felt the bengals were the better team entering the year, and it's too early to really think beating a 2-1 team is a lot better than beating a 1-2 team.

power rankings are arbitrary as fuck but they are both undefeated teams and the broncos beat the pats to get to the super bowl last year and the pats o-line is still pretty poor.

drop the persecution complex lol

This just goes to prove Ravens trips are the ultimate autists.

>Pats o-line is poor
Do you even watch the games, you retard?

>using last year as a measurement for this year's power rankings
kill yourself faggot

you will use any excuse to make the Patriots look bad, you fucking piece of shit.

Vikings WR's are dumb as dirt, Patterson and Treadwell are probably illiterate. Wright/Johnson are inconsistent. Thielen is the second best WR simply because he's able to be in the right places at the right time.

Vikings emulating Patriots with multi-TE and only white WR, Nice to see this franchise is growing.

People hate the Texans and have always written them off. Lots of people rated the chiefs higher even after their week 2 loss to Houston. The Bengals have some defensive problems but getting Vontaze Burfict back will help. They are a good team despite the record.

That said the Pats should be number 1.

if we're going strictly by this year then the eagles would be higher than the patriots, you have to use last year's until you have a big enough body of work to go off on.

explain

>if we're going strictly by this year then the eagles would be higher than the patriots
So you're just a fucking retard, then. Good to know.

Who else here /nervous/ for their next few match ups. I'm having flashbacks of last season game against Minnesota, but I'm still cautiously optimistic that we can hold on to the ball

>Quick, post the most unappreciated player on your team so far this season

Paradis

>power rankings are about 32 teams, not just yours

I really wish people understood this. how many more times will I see this:

>team A is 10th in power rankings, loses a close game against a playoff team
>team B is 9th in power rankings, gets blown out by a losing team
>team B drops, making team A go up a spot
>"hurr durr how come team A lost and still went up in the power rankings"

still playing rza?

I quit a couple years back

>hurr broncos suck because last year doesnt count
>hurr eagles suck because this year doesnt count

make up your mind

it's an online football game (not fantasy football) where you own and manage a team inside a 32-team league. you gotta do everything from manage your revenue to scouting players to setting match tactics and depth charts, in order to build a strong team over time.

the game continually plays even when you're not there, and a new season starts every 12 weeks, meaning there's "football" all year round. we've been in the offseason for the past couple weeks but season 23 is about to start up this week.

try working on your reading comprehension, idiot.

sounds fun
how do i join

no, u r the idiot

not still, we're trying to start it up again. we got about 10 or so people that signed up in one league, but that one filled up because all these people signed up to get in before the new season starts. there's still plenty of spots in other regions though, the best being Claymore 2.2

redzoneaction.org

just make an account real quick, after you log in you'll need to pick a team. 3 of the regions are full right now, so you'll have to join Claymore 2.2. make sure it's 2.2 and not 2.1 though, so that all the other Cred Forumsartans that join up can play against you too.

after you're in, I'd recommend popping into the /nfl/ discord and switching over to the #textegg channel, it's where we talk about that stuff and we can get you better hands-on advice for how to get your team set up. there is a bit of a learning curve, but once you've got that down it doesn't actually take much time per week to keep your team in order.

Everybody is shit as far as I'm concerned

Why are the Pats number 1?

here

>playing against the Bills next week
with an injured Garop the Wop or an injured Jacoby Briskett
>playing against the Browns away week 5
you know Billy B has a soft spot for his former teams and Brady going to be shook when he returns
>that vs CIN, @ PIT, @ BUF, vs SEA stretch after that
3 playoff teams in 4 games
>vs BAL, @ DEN, vs NYJ, @ MIA to finish the season
Pats always lose against Miami late in the season

fuck this schedule

Because they are objectively the best team in football right now. They are blowing niggas out with the GOAT QB and GOAT TE missing from the team. Once both are back, it is game over for the NFL.

Texans have a better record
Pats dominated and shut them down

Holy fuck are you the most bitch-made Pats fan in existence or what? Bills and Browns will be easy wins. brady isn't going to be "shook." He's going to be going on a tear as soon as he returns. None of those teams scare me in the slightest. Are you even a pats fan or just a troll

How do I get into watching football?

My dad and brother do all the time but I am too intimidated to get into it.

Do I just pick a team and start watching?

Do I have to watch all the old seasons before I start the new one?

How many stats do I need to memorize?

Just watch the games and everything else will fall into place for you. You should be rooting for your local team. Find the team closest to where you live and watch their games.

>How many stats do I need to memorize?

just one

18-1

which team is the closest to where you were born?

What's a dragon

>Do I have to watch all the old seasons before I start the new one?
yes, start with 1950

>tfw vikings fan
>tfw forget the feeling of clean pockets
That was some good blocking.

3 man rush, you'd hope even the worst line in the league could hold against that

>hobbled ankle and can still lob a pass 60 yards in the air
Okay, he's pretty good.

I dont know what this means.

Do I need to learn the rules. Eagles.

Where do i find em?

it's pretty important to be watching games live with people who are more than willing to talk and be open about it. if you don't have people like that near you or a good sports bar around, then you're going to have to resort to the internet for that.

it's especially useful if the people who you're talking to are homers that love talking about why this player is good for your team, or why that play was bad and they should've gone for that open guy, or how this guy is doing better than usual but it doesn't matter so much because they aren't used much in this year's scheme.

it all starts with becoming familiar with all the ins and outs of your own team, and then you'll branch out from there as you get exposure to other teams yours has played. in time you'll get familiar with the league in general, and fantasy football will help with that. later on you can play madden games to get more familiar with play calls and formations, but right now you just need to watch football and absorb as much of what's going on as you can.

Sadly...... I don't know if the vikings can, plus there was the luxury of it being a zone for QB spy.

LT, RT, RG are extremely bad for the vikings, I see Smith getting beat so fucking much at RT.

seattle losing the owl

Don't pick a team, just look up the rules, watch every game you can. Eventually get a team that way.
It's more fun just watching good football than dedicating to a homer.

NEW

THREAD

as far as rules go, this is simple enough for now. the rest of it you can pick up as you watch, because there's a million tiny nuances that not even the refs know by heart. if a play is ever under review because one team is contesting the call due to a rule, pay attention not only to the play but why they think the call should be different.

...

>no cfl
>:(

>2. Vikings
>6. Ravens
>12. Cowboys
>15. Dolphins
>20. Bengals
>26. Bills

>3 downs
>110 yard field
>20 yard end zones
>12 players per side
>multiple players in motion
>motion allowed at the snap
>missing a field goal gives you 1 point
you guys are treated as america's backwards cousin for a reason

>2. Turnovers
We've had like 5 turnovers this season in only 3 weeks from last play of the game/half on desperation plays.
To say that shit is #2 is retarded.

1) PPG
2) Yards per play
3) QB rating
4) sacks

>field goal gives you one point.
Not in all cases defending team can rum it out. It's only a point if it lands in the endzone.
In a lot of ways i prefer the Canadian format, going for it is a more frequent decision. Punts are actually returned, ovettime is actually fair etc. Crack blocking as a WR starting in motion is fun as fuck.
Had a blast in HS, and i imagine the Cfl skill level with American rules would be boring as fuck.
Also
Im pretty sure the rest of the world views that cousin relationship the other way around...

>I know the Chiefs won one last year but
Makes assertion , immediately disproves it

Fuck off. Thielen is mediocre. Him being the starting slot WR is only because Wright has been hurt and isn't back up to game speed yet. One meme catch doesn't change that.
