kek i think you are right

Liverpool in terms of scum fans

West Ham in terms of considering themselves as one of the most important clubs but never having won shit

You mean having the worst fanbase? United or liverpool obviously

Norwich

>more championships than most NFL teams
>hasn't won shit

are people so autistic that winning a championship didn't count until they changed the name?

They only people who care about NFL championships are the people who's team never won a Superbowl.

Newcastle

It's the same damn thing you faggot.

Super Bowl just equates to when it became a national spectacle. But in the NBA or NHL or any other league, we still count championships from many many years ago.

You can keep telling yourself that a NFL championship is worth something but everyone knows the only football worth caring about started in 1967.

just like European Championships don't count from before they were called the Champions League...

This is literally one of the worst arguments in American sports, you equate success to the name of the trophy no matter if it was the same thing or not

You're an idiot lad. The Eagles have CHAMPIONSHIPS over the Browns, the Packers, and many of the legendary teams that helped pave the way for the modern NFL. The name 'Super Bowl' is seriously just an idiotic buzzword that becomes a stupid argument-killer when discussing a team's history.

>le eagles haven no super bowl

No, but we have had more success than the vast majority of teams in the past 20 years, and also we've won the big game more than once in our history.

But it's not the same. 1966 was the year the NFL and the AFL merged into the league we know today.

People don't count NFL championships because the league back then was literally half of what it is now,

Literally the only reason you're trying to dismiss the Super bowl is because your team has never won one.

If you were a Packers/Steelers fan you wouldn't give a fuck about NFL championships.

Lad people count hockey championships when there only 8 teams.

Also the world series used to be the entire MLB postseason.

The NFL existed for decades before the AFL was even a concept. Championships still have a lot of historical value. Obviously they mean more now because of the competition, but can't ignore what the game used to be.

he is a known troll, filter/ignore him and stop giving him replies

Nah, it's true though. My point is that the Super Bowl is way more than the sport itself and it matters that our team's historical successes shouldn't entirely be held to one game.
