I went early to the Raiders week 2 game in generic Falcons gear and the tailgaters were basically shoving beer and plates of food into my hands. I remember hearing about the shit that went down with the Raiders in San Diego before but this crowd seems a far cry from what I'd been warned about.

Minor league hockey awesome. Cheap as hell ($8 on the glass). Always played in the "old" stadium in the city, not the shiny new one with the NBA or some shit. Free or $1 parking. $3 beers. Nearly everyone there is a white, and in my town, everyone was middle class nice people.

I've been to 30 or 40 games and have never seen a fan fight, passed out drunk, or any other big problem.
