Dr. Marko, I'm CIA

The shoey meme needs to live on until Vettel gets forced to do it.

Then lmao4WDC car babby will be 100% cucked by the BAC

the shoey meme will jump the shark when ricciardo gets kimi to do it

Oh, I didn't think of that. Would be glorious. Or get this: make Gimi drink it :D

wouldn't kimi simply refuse it in a very cold way?

gimi would just use the shoe as a funnel and chug the whole bottle of champy in one go

grid penalties don't carry over between races so he took extra engines which amount to shitload of penalties but only had to suffer them once and since you can't start from place 60 something he effectively didn't suffer that much by just starting from the back of the grid while gaining fresh engines

If you have like the fifth most wins ever in the history of the sport and every single one of them is in a car that is so good that it is front-row worthy then you are just 100% a carbabby, there is no argument against it. Especially when you are seemingly totally incapable of doing anything remarkable in a car that isn't pretty much the undeniable best on each race-win weekend.

Is this weekends GPkino worth catching up on?

Sending this tune for all Hamilton fans, Sky and Autosport employees. Cheers, guys!

youtube.com/watch?v=ipqqEFoJPL4

Feature race absolutely, one of the best of the season.

Sprint race was a bit boring but did result in a new first time winner so that was pretty cool

Ricciardo now has the same number of wins as Eddie Irvine.

to be fair, Irvine was shit

Gio is GOAT

I hope they sack Gutsman and put Gio in.

You guys think he's uncharismatic enough to replace Di Resta as the Sky's start analyst next year?

I hope so too.

How does Gio even get this far without any real backing or proper affiliation??

Ferrari are obviously grooming Leclerc and to a lesser extent Fuoco, so they really kind of don't "need" another junior.

It's kind of bullshit if he doesn't get something out of F1. He's either going to win GP2 in his debut season or lose it by a handful of points to a highly rated and heavily backed Red Bull junior, both of which are great achievements overall.

I don't think anyone really expected him to do anything remarkable this season in GP2? There was no real talk about him and after the first few rounds he looked like yet another shitty and pointless GP2 driver. And now he might win it and already has as many wins this season as Hamilton got in his GP2 year

this is a manlet's world

Fuoco is overrated, just like Marciello, who was once a Ferrari jr.

I think that Leclerc, Albon and Gio are superior to Gasly and Stroll, who are going to get the seats available.

I can just imagine Stroll being an abomination in a Williams. He was about 1000% worse than Max in his first season of F3.

ricciardo is a luck babby then

You idiots are so cucked by this shitty series that anything different from the qualy results is a "good race" to you...

in this era of formula 1, you're either a carbabby or a luckbabby. no inbetween

>tfw you can't just be #Blessed

>If you have like the fifth most wins ever in the history of the sport and every single one of them is in a car that is so good that it is front-row worthy then you are just 100% a carbabby,

So you mean like pretty much every "champion" that's won the WDC in the past 30 years....

i'll be really pissed if rosberg wins the championship /f1/

i don't know how i'll deal

i'll have a meltdown if trump loses and rosberg becomes champion

I don't think Fuoco is overrated because I don't think he's actually rated that highly by anyone lol

Leclerc seems to be a bit "overrated" in the sense that he has been given this image of some flawless racer future F1 star, but watching him in GP3 he isn't exactly super dominant. Sure he is good but he isn't quite at that professional destroying everything consistently level yet. Which is why I think it will be good for him to do GP2 next year (guessing with Prema) like it's been rumored. Great potential though for sure.

GP2 is really something that should be mandatory for juniors. Look at Marciello, perfect example. He is really not very good, nothing special, makes stupid mistakes and even after like 60 starts still does stuff like destroys his tires too quickly. GP2 has exposed this and basically if you don't survive in GP2 you're not going to make it in F1. But Marciello did win the Euro F3 title with Prema (just like Stroll did just now, just like Ocon did, but Ocon does appear to be the real deal). Had Ferrari trusted in him at that point and promoted him straight from F3 into F1, they would have had to endure what Marciello has been doing in GP2 for the past 3 seasons, except in F1, at much higher expense and probably even in a more brutal manner as F1 is even less forgiving.

why did i write this much about junior careers lol

who has a webm of the start incident onboard with amx?

help a cunt out lads

yea shit I forgot every champion won races exclusively from the front row of the grid and there are no exceptions to this rule

in fact no one has ever won from below 3rd and its definitely not just an arbitrary but significant measurement of driver ability and achievement

Why is crofty allowed to commentate? American football players "umm" and "errr" less than he does.

Real talented drivers are rare and even then it is a technical sport. if your car craps out on you then that's it, you can be the best driver in the world when the car goes nowhere.
Just like Hamilton, his engine blew up and DNF even though he is the best driver since Schumi but the car crapped, he pulled out, scootered back like a techno boss and took the whole thing like a man. He is clearly the best.

Why is Vettel so based

it is scripted. acted. not real.

hamilton is such a cry baby...

maybe it isnt translated well, but the big sport newspaper in my country writes that hamilton said that 'mercedes owes him answers'

Those guys forgot how unreliable an average f1 car used to be 10 years ago, or its like hes the only one who could lose a championship because of reliability issues.

what an asshole, I dont even like Rosberg that much but I hope he gets the title for 1 point

Yes, Vettel is pretending to be someone else. This is called acting, correct.

...

he changed his mind since then and said it was God's fault

I dont get it

Reminder that Lance Stroll won the Euro F3 championship today, so should have enough sl points for next year.

>even though he is the best driver since Schumi

H-hungarybro are you okay?

>mfw racist Hungarian turns into Hamilton dickrider

You know what keeps me watching MWL?

It's not seeing Rosberg cucking Hamilton out of a championship. It's not seeing if mad amx, vetlel or tricky ricky can win a race against the Mercedes. It's not seeing how early Mercedes can win the constructors' championship. It's not seeing if the Mercs suffer some kind of failure or accident.

It's the hope that, one day, either Ham or Ros, or both, will do something stupid that will cost them the first place, and after the race ends, they devolve into a fistfight.

The problem is that Max wasn't that dirty in F3 and has been borderline in F1. Stroll has been abominable in F3, and I guarantee people will be calling him (s)troll or something next year because he hasn't really un-learned that behavior.

Leclerc is mildly overrated, however he beat most of the Prema cars as a rookie - just like Max. He hasn't been dominant, but he's beating most of his old F3 opposition (Dennis, Albon) in GP3.

Yeah, I mean it is almost certain he will drive for Williams next year. In a way it is good that Williams is one of those teams that consistently brings rookies into the sport. Had Massa not brought in like ten million in sponsors then I'm pretty sure they would have brought Lynn in, or maybe even Nasr.

Winning F3 with Prema in your second season really isn't that impressive though. That team makes some races look like their car is from a different category.

Just realised, Gimi is beating Vetlel in the standings.

What will happen to Vettel's reputation if he's beaten by a 36 year old man over a full season?

Noice

/f1/ in a nutshell

I'm not convinced by Stroll, and even though they sort of have to, it's sad to see Williams take such a young driver with so much money. I hope he doesn't 'lose' the team a fair chunk of points.

no shame getting beaten by a better driver

>tfw a finn with family in germany living currently in the netherlands

I also shitpost constantly so I assume I can apply for honorary australian citizenship

Apparently not much, because he was beaten by Mr. Smiles in his first year at RBR.

I personally rate him as sub-Alonso/Hamilton tier

I don't really know how good Stroll's wheel-to-wheel actually is. It seems like he's spent this entire season cruising in front because premawinslol. I haven't watched every single race that he's been in but I can't really think of any stand out move from him at all. At least Max and Ocon showed that they can race fair and clean without taking each other out, and Max showed it again today. I think this is definitely going to expose Stroll if he does come to F1 next year.

Max can seemingly race clean or dirty by choice. Not every driver, certainly not every junior can really have that sort of control. Had Max been fighting for the title or had he been driving against Kimi he wouldn't have been as kind as he was with Ricciardo

Stroll is notorious

What reputation lol

Everyone in F1 has some doubts about him unless they are full German. Schumi's talent was out of the question. Same with Alonso, I would say even with Hamilton, there is no question that he is a top level driver (unless you are a FUCK NIGGERS type)

Some commentators say it. Hamilton and Alonso have talked about it, Alonso basically hates Vettel and has said several times that Vettel's titles are undeserved.

It's the same way Rosberg has many doubters, or it's pretty much an accepted fact that he's not a super top-tier driver and his performance is hugely accentuated and flattered by the car. The only difference between Rosberg and Vettel being is that Rosberg might win 1 title, Vettel has 4. It's going to look particularly bad if Vettel doesn't win another title again, or even seriously challenge for one again. I mean right now if Ferrari were in a title challenging car, Vettel would be losing to Kimi "I gave up 10 years ago" Räikkönen, which says it all really. Wait until Ferrari get a good driver in their prime as Vettel's teammate. Wouldn't be surprised to see Perez perform better than Vettel

I wonder what Vettel thought when he drove the 2012 Ferrari for the first time.

Why did Tractorcunt show mercy?
He was there for the taking.

>drinking tea

I really don't hate tea, but at the same point I don't like it. Is there a way you're supposed to make it that I just don't know about? To be honest I only drink Lipton tea bags without sugar when I'm sick.

Incidentally, has that super-autistic Hamilton fan that refers to him as "The World Champion" made any posts lately? wouldn't mind reading his head explosion from today.

Mods are sleeping

Post GOAT liveries

>I wonder what Vettel thought when he drove the 2012 Ferrari for the first time.

Oh yea I forgot about that one lol

I predict a season of a lot of replaced front wings and general lack of spatial awareness. I don't particularly want him to do poorly or anything but his driving doesn't exactly convince me and he would be nowhere near F1 (or maybe even Prema) if he didn't have a bigger backing than almost any other junior.

His backing is hardly even a drop in the bucket though. Apparently Williams' budget was 186 million euros in 2015 (Ferrari, Merc, McLaren and RB are 400 mil plus).

Stroll reportedly brings around 25 million. So it's not like his backing is going to hugely change the status or level of Williams. Williams would need to be spending more than twice what they are right now if they wish to be a top team (which they won't and don't but just saying)

>Jaguar returns to singleseaters in the form of Formula E
>doesn't use the Britsh racing green color scheme

why

Easily the best color in motorsport

Vettel isn't bad, but he isn't that good either.

I'd put him as somewhere between Hamilton and Rosberg. It's important to remember that Heidfeld beat Webber so Webber was no measurement.

Ricciardo beat Vettel in one season, 3-0 in wins. Had they moved Ricky up in 2012 to replace Webber, I have no doubt that he would have won both titles by a Hamilton vs. Rosberg margin.

Jaguar are owned by Pajeets, remember. Hence why they've tried to copy the F1 Mercedes livery

german drivers are all carbabies

Binland pls. I said it's say that they need Stroll's money. Apparently they have a 20 million black hole. I am well aware his money won't move them up the grid.

what's he thinking about, /f1/?

All of his blessings.

Not so #blessed after all

Yeah, I'm not saying they don't.

I guess I didn't express it clearly, I just think it's amazing that they more or less need paydrivers to survive, when the going rate for a seat is a very small part of their budget. Not saying 25 mil isn't a significant amount but the amount of money they need to operate at their current level is astounding.

If they didn't need a paydrivers' money they wouldn't be "employing" paydrivers. Lucky for them Stroll actually appears to have some merit as well.

Also what actually happened with Williams that made them go from state of the art amazing in the 90s to bretty good in early 2000s (there was one title there probably if Montoya had driven better or if they had a more direct driver hierarchy and Ralf's wins were gifted to Montoya or vice versa), to going to a full backmarker and now being stuck in eternal midfield with basically no chance of ever becoming a top team again, unless they get their own engine manufacturer and an annual 200 million euro cash injection

what went wrong?

Not necessarily. I mean, Toyota had a 480 million budget in 2008 and were shit anyway. I guess you can still do something if you have a smaller budget. At least prevent FI to score more points and get side by side with Ferrari, specially if they have a Mercedes engine. Anyway, I'd start talking to Audi or Peugeot or some other manufacter like that to see if they want to make a special engine for us if I were Williams.

that CBT session will be tougher than usual

....ricky?

Oh go get stuffed Columbia.

JPM deserved that penalty. It wouldn't have mattered anyway, the engine failed in Suzuka. Also while he may have gotten closer in Monza, really the race was pretty much decided in the Roggia, IIRC he had more wing so would have been better under braking, but I think the Ferrari had the greater top speed that year.

Villeneuve left for BAR's shekels, JPM left because Williams were shit. Hill on the other hand was genuinely mistreated, but you still have to consider he was almost 40 years old at the time, and he was certainly no Nigel Mansell or Alain Prost.

Why is it backmarkers have great liveries?

Yeah, it's funny to me that no matter how much money an F1 team has, if they don't have the right people in charge or on the technical side, it all goes to shit...

Toyota is a special case though, because they internally restructured the team like twice before their first race, then tried to run everything by committee and fired the guy that got the team into a decently competitive position (Mike Gascoyne).

Did someone say
GOAT LIVERIES

>IIRC he had more wing so would have been better under braking
Yup, whoever thought that strategy was dumb af, and if it was Montoya, then it was his own fault. He wasnt even on the top 6 fastest cars on the speedtrap because of it.
Also, Montoya aknowledges that season, he said it was better for him to have lost his chances on Indianapolis and not on suzuka (it was hydraulics, BMW at development were worried whether the car could ressist the G forces at 130R, and it didnt).

I'd argue he was on the same level as Mansell, especially considering how Mansell didn't outrace him in '94, and also on the basis of how they both did against Prost in the same car

No sponsors shitting up the simple color schemes

alpha as fuck

I do agree that they treated a lot of their drivers poorly, Webber also talked about it. But JPM and Button both have talked positively about the team and JPM in particular supposedly had a very good relationship with the team and with Frank. Ended up feeling like an outsider in McLaren and couldn't handle the cold autism of Dennis and Gimi so he never reached his potential there.

Also just saying Montoya (or Ralf) would have won a title if they had done what Ferrari did. I mean in retrospect, they were battling against Michael Schumacher and his supporting driver, if they wanted a title they should have done the same approach. If All of the wins were "donated" to Montoya or if they employed a more intentionally biased strategy, he would have gotten the title. Not that it matters though but it would have been hella frickin epic

The most autistic car of all time

This is the Honda that McLaren chose to partner with, not the Honda from the 80s. Weird how everyone seems to forget about Honda's most recent tenure into F1

you can actually see the digust on JB and Ruben's faces.

I think Ralf was a very bad signing for Williams. In 99 and 2000 and even 2001 he was good, but too good to be just a No.2 driver and not good enough to be a champion. He was a typical young talented driver and future champion. Since BMW specifically wanted at least one german driver, he was the only option at the time, thry had already kicked Frentzen out and MSC would never join them.

But then came Nick Heidfeld. He was also le young and talented driver, but was too beta to be No.1. He would have been the perfect teammate for JPM for 2003-2004.

What will Bill Burr say about this race? Will he be mad that his favorite driver retired?

>JPM in particular supposedly had a very good relationship with the team and with Frank
He had a good relationship with Frank, even when he was on nascar back on 08-09.
Buut, the "screwup" they made to him on France was what pissed him off in bmw and decided to be a playmate to gimi,

And Ron was ... being Ron.

True.

I'm also a bit surprised the Kimi-Montoya pairing didn't work out at all. Both are kind of asshole personalities in the sense that they are no nonsense and basically just want to drive fast. But neither are huge excess drama type. I guess Montoya is eccentric but he did seem a real old school no politics kind of driver. In their prime they were some of the most blisteringly fast drivers in the field with relatively similar driving styles. I guess Montoya couldn't deal with the McLaren environment and Kimi didn't make him feel particularly welcome because Finnish personality, but its a shame it didn't work out. Could have been a real dream team.

Surprised Montoya didn't even attempt a return to Williams after the McLaren thing either

What actually happened with Montoya at McLaren? What was the real reason for his poor performance? Did he not just get along with Ron?

I mean I watched the seasons back in the day but didn't really pay attention also its so long ago now and I was a kid back then so I wasn't as hugely interested in driver politics etc

the guy had to miss like 4 races, maybe more I dont remember in 2005 because he 'played tennis' and broke his ankle or something

kimi had a championship winning car and he was taking vacations

>Surprised Montoya didn't even attempt a return to Williams

>going back to a team that was now a backmarker

Could have easily gone to BMW or Renault in 07 though. Also, by 06 he was already 31 years old.

>mfw the one race I miss is hella fkin epic.

I'm all for Hamilton losing, but if there is anyone less worthy of a WDC it's Rosberg.

>with relatively similar driving styles

Actually that was the exact problem, JPM and Gimi had opposing driving styles, in that they wanted the car to respond in exactly the opposite way.

McLaren engineers were baffled at first, since they were getting the opposite kind of feedback (Gimi complaining about understeer, Montoya about oversteer), until they reached a point where they had to manufacture totally different front suspension geometries for both drivers.

Plus there was always Ron Benis' autism, the worst of which was negotiating with (& signing) Alonso for 2007 in late 2005 without even an inkling reaching both drivers. Allegedly, at that point, both men made it clear they wouldn't re-sign with him for 2007.

Then there was the whole 'tennis playing injury' fiasco.

ok, who gives a shit?

Come on you should be supporting your fellow Swede

Nico drove a good comeback today actually which went largely unnoticed. Not even all just DRS overtakes, some aggressive moves. THe one on Kimi was a bit much but at least he showed he's not a total bitch (just showed he can't overtake too well :DDD)

His mannerisms post-race were also pretty meme-worthy, being all out of fucks to give instead of le corporate machine who cannot wait to thank the team and fans at every given opportunity

That attack on gimi wasn't half bad desu, if Kimi could see Rosberg he would probably gave him more room and there wouldn't be any collision at all.

I guess there was the idea that with a slipstream and the (slight) power advantage of the BMW engine, he would be able to close up and when he pulled out to make the move he'd have the benefit of the extra downforce. But honestly a trimed out car would have really given Ferrari more pressure that year.

Also thanks for the info, all I remember was an issue with it hitting the limiter, and crawling along.

>Montoya about oversteer
Williams car always suffered understeer, which uses a different way to correct it, and using this method on an oversteer car such as the Mclaren one had bad results, such as the spin and crash in Hockenheim qualify.

Now, Monty had to start all over from 05 with that car, and the missing races he got on the early season due that "accident" made him lose a lot of points, but by the time the championship was getting closer to the finale, he started to get a lot of wins and points for the team, he could have won Japan if it wasn't for Villeneuve being stupid.

And Montoya was allegedly suffering from the Barichello syndrome on Mclaren, since the development was primary done for gimi.

Hm thats interesting, I didn't know that.

Now that I actually think about it, Kimi is more about responsive front end whereas Montoya is seemingly more comfortable with understeer and driving the car in "straighter arcs"

Ron Dennis is also undoubtedly the most autistic man in F1 and by far the worst ever at managing drivers

Just off the top of my head

>whole Senna/Prost scenario which led to Prost leaving the team - Dennis did nothing to alleviate it
>being full autismo towards Mika because he almost died
>Lose Kimi
>Lose Montoya
>Lose Alonso in 1 season
>the whole Hamilton Alonso thing

etc etc

>I guess there was the idea that with a slipstream and the (slight) power advantage of the BMW engine
That was the general idea, to overtake him on the corners since the bmw lapped faster than Michael, specially since bridgeston had shit tires that started to go bad after the first stops, buuut the backmarkers played a role on giving Schumacher enough time to breathe (specially Frentzen).

Here, a link for you

My grandad did a shoey as initiation to his rugby club. That would have been 60 odd years ago, and for it to be a part of initiation it was probably around for longer than that.
Not saying we came up with it but it's really old and hasn't died so I can't see it going away

trips confirm it 17 will be Gimi's year

>Hamilton
>the best driver since Schumi
that's Alonso, everyone knows this

I use to rate Hamilton very highly though, the best since Nando, but after this season I'm not so sure anymore. Rosberg legitimately being the better driver for most of this season should strike a huge blow to his reputation.

>that penalty for Rosberg
Is this really where the sport is going?
I mean for fucks sake...
And the cars are going to be even wider next year.

betaberg is a mondo cuntbag

Are you talking about the 10 second penalty or the 2 penalty points? He did deserve to be penalized, but it should have probably been one penalty or the other, not both.

>Brundle defends Nico's shit move on Max in Hockenheim
>Brundle thinks Nico deserved a drive-thru for his decent move on Kimi in Sepang

what changed? is he losing it?

Shit, I probably should have clarified.
I was talking about his "collision" with Kimi.

>ultra mad germans :DD

>old as fuck gimi - 160 points
>le new schumi in the prime of his career - 153 points

fugg :DD

Reminder that Brundle interviewed a British FIA steward before the race and he straight up said he hopes that Hamilton gets on with the championship today and wins the race blah blah

Mysteriously Rosberg receives a 10 second time penalty (even though similar incidents have been generally awarded a 5 second penalty in the past) when Hamilton is out of the race

pure coincidence ;))

Today is Jolyon day

This was probably the least cringy podium interview. Based webber.

I was thinking the same thing when it happened. It was pending for ages but they suddenly made a decision as soon as hamilton is out. Worse stuff than that goes without penalty all the time, it would be fair enough if he damaged kimi's car and ruined his race but it was just a touch.

Would Charlie Sheen do a shoey? There's still hope for US GP

>post the face of the Cred Forums mechanic that pissed on lewis' o-rings in the factory when he saw car 44's engine blow up

If you are going to award the penalty you have to award points as that is how they track multiple incidents drivers have caused.
Every incident with blame gets a driver penalty points.

...

Gimi 7's? It must be true.

Mclaren is the 5th best car on the grid now. Do you guys think they can beat Ferrari straight up by the end of the year?

no

It was a shit overtake maneuver by Rosberg but warranted a 5 sec penalty at most if anything at all. The contact was unnecessarily hard and could've easily meant a retirement for both drivers had the contact angle been a bit different. Kimi had turned in already and Rosberg was never far enough on the side to take the inside line for the second corner(see Kimi's earlier overtake in that same spot). It ended up being a dive bomb more than anything and a bit reckless, especially considering the race situation. Rosberg wasn't in any hurry to overtake. He was easily withing DRS zone, with new set of soft tires and considerably better car with around 10 laps to go and no chance to ever race the Red Bulls even if Kimi had let him past immediately. He would've gone flying past in the next DRS zone regardless and that would've saved him from stressing the car in whatever race mode he used to stretch that gap after the penalty.

No, but next year they better be relentless.

Why didn't they show turn 1 crash from vettel or verstapens perspective and only said "max didn't hit him xd" ???

they did show it from vetlels perspective but not from verstappens iirc

I think there was a brief shot from Verstappen but maybe I'm remembering wrong

can't think of a single driver in recent history that deserves a championship less than rosberg

This is some weak bait 2bhfamalam

Just being in the best car is all you need for the championship. Then you just need to be better or at least luckier than the other driver.
Rosberg is luckier.
Deserving it or not means nothing, any cunt like hamilton, vettel etc will take any win at any cost that they dont deserve

i still think hamilton will win

So how good is the McLaren car at the moment, minus the power unit?

Alternatively, how far behind is their power unit still lagging?

'nando overtook Massa in WDC standings, is he now officially faster than him?

I relished this. I rewound it and watched it about 15 times. I just love his exasperated "oh no, NO NO!"

In post race interview with Hamilton, he started of quite magnanimous which made me feel for him, but then he went and did it again; he put his fucking foot in it. He had the audacity to bring up a conspiracy against him, which the British commentators and press will no doubt run with again, as they always do.

Ah well FUCK Hamilton. At least I have this video to always replay.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

>Filipe, Fernando is faster than you

I think hamilton is a broken man
Doubt he will bounce all the way back and win this time

>Its lewis's loop hole now
>not alonsos who has used it twice this year and abused it more the same week lewis did
>Not hondas loophole because they created by taking all those penalties last year thus creating the need to allow the loophole so alonso doesnt start at the back of the grid for the entire season
the anti lewis bias in this place

would it be possible for someone to allocate let's say 20 engines during first gp weekend, take that INT_MAX places penalty and then use fresh engine for each gp?

No because you have to use them and it takes time to fit an engine

Also, if they somehow worked it out, by the time you got deep in your engine pool you'd want new engines with upgrades

Chasis on par with ferrari, PU is close to haas but still a shit.

Or you could just absolutely rape every component every weekend and not worry about wear. Which would be much more beneficial than the upgrades. But it's a stupid idea anyway.

The titles these guys give to themselves, mang.

Does the fact that a black brit has been cucking a white german since 2013 has any effect on Mercedes, and more specifically, in Germany?

The Hulkenburg get-out in singapore was GOAT. I dunno if they're photo's of that, but this is pretty good.

Also, why does Mercedes keep Hamilel if he is such a retard about things like the engine? Sprcially considering Nico is german and respects the team. They could have Haryanto and Ericsson in those cars amd would probably still win te championship...

only reason why he was on the podium is because lewis was out
otherwise he would have been 4th
there's no way he would have gotten past vestappen or tricky that day
when hamilton went from last to 3rd he had to beat a redbull to do it
he didn't beat any redbulls to get his podium

Right, Hamilton also wasn't forced to burnout his own tyres to get back pointing the right way.

Not a Germanbro but i hope like hell there are more engine mishaps for Lewis and him blaming the hierarchy at Merc again. Its the only way this season will be anything close to interesting.

Redbull wasn't the team to beat on that track so that is not a good comparison

Why is Vettel involved in all the first lap incidents, he hasn't seemed to learn how to convert his good starts into great races yet in the Ferrari

>can't even beat Gimi

It is the redbulls that always are assholes to him. hHis most notorious startup fuckups have been due to a redbull cockblocking him.

So what happens if Ferrari drops vettel, if he continues to underperform?
It seems logical for Ferrari to focus on 2017 as being a rebuilding year for the 2018 championship since they probably arent going to be close to the mercedes or even redbull next year. And its common for teams who are in a rebuilding phase to drop an underperforming team mate for some fresh talent, and I dont think theyd want to keep paying Vettelel 50 million a year considering he is driving like a midfield driver. Maybe they might try to buy out Perez or Sainz?

I miss Jessposting lads

:(

What the actual fuck

This rule is getting fixed next year. Only the most recently procured unit can be used. So if you take 5 engines, you can only use the 5th one in a race and the other 4 cannot be used

underrated

He won't be dropped but if Gimi continues his form and keeps beating Vettel we could have another BULLIED situation where he leaves the team in a hissy fit.

In 2018, he is bound to change teams, either because ferrari wont be in contention and hell quit because hes a carbaby or he continues his shit form and ferrari wont want to continue paying his 50 mill contract. Seb has been spoilt by Redbull and Newey, which has artifically inflated his true driver stock whilst giving him little tolerance for cars that isnt merc teir.

Vettel honestly needs to start performing better soon. Ferrari doesn't have infinite amounts of patience, and it's pretty clear now that he is no Schumacher

Ferrari fired Kimi back in the day for essentially not performing, then brought him back in 2014 not as a hyped up no. 1, but as a solid no. 2 with a lot of marketing potential. And now this driver is pretty much beating their golden child who was supposed to be their new shining star.

I know that Vettel has had bad luck, but even without the bad luck, Kimi has appeared and been noticeably faster both in races and quali several times this season.

By this logic, Vettels championships in the Red Bull could have been achieved at a similar level, maybe even in a more dominant fashion by a driver who was de facto fired in 2009 for not driving well enough. There is no indication that Vettel is a worse driver now than he was at Red Bull, and he is still so young that there's no getting old excuse. Kimi on the other hand is old as fuck and probably the least suited for current style of F1 AND HES BEATING VETTEL ANYWAY

lmao

My actual point that I forgot to make is that where is Vettel going to go if he doesn't find success at Ferrari?

Red Bull is not an option I don't think and it would kill the legitimacy of Toro Rosso if they're just going to take drivers from other teams.

He signed with Ferrari early 2014 and his stock was pretty much at its highest. Its done nothing but go down since and I don't even know if anyone would really want him if his failures at Ferrari become clear.

I guess McLaren/Merc/Renault might be top options but those seats are in high demand.

Only a butthurt Finn would even suggest that Vettels seat at Ferrari isn't safe for another 8 years should he want it.

There is no better faster driver on the grid and his bottleneck is a car that gets slower with each lap, not his driving.

The 2014 car was unlike anything Vettel had driven at that time. Downforce ring a bell? He simply wasn't used to it and Ricky was.

Vettel would beat Ricky in any car once he got used to it after one season. But why stay at RB when RB is past its prime? Ferrari is more competitive now.

...

>Implying Sebs stock wasnt already in the red when Ricciardo thrashed him in his first year at Redbull.

Ferrari was retarded enough to not listen to the greats like Hamilel or Alonso, and assume 2014 was just an off year for Seb. Now hes being beaten by an aging champ that was beaten by alonso when he was at ferrari. And this is compounded by the fact that Ferrari is currently paying Vettel 50 mill a year, which is an all time record for an F1 driver, and hes performing like a midfield driver. Where as they could have saved money and waited for Verstappen, Sainz or Perez to come off age, then buy them off from Redbull or FI, and then use these years and the extra capital to rebuild Ferrari for the 2017 regs

Ferraris management are pretty retarded for even agreeing to the 150 mill 3 year contract, after vettel got exposed in 2014.

Ferraris management deserve all the criticisement theyre getting

I think the thing with that deal was that it was signed early in the season. I've read somewhere that Vettel considered the move already by the end of 2013. So my assumption is that the deal was finalized before Vettel was truly exposed, and even then Ferrari probably thought his performance in 2014 was just a meme.

I don't know how paying Vettel that much is even worth it. The driver salaries are honestly out of control. Why pay Vettel all that money when you can bring in e.g. Perez who literally brings money to the team and unlocks the whole South American market for Ferrari cars. And then you can pay him a salary of like 10 mil or whatever (that is essentialyl covered by his sponsorship package) and he'll probably be content.

10-6 quali result against an aging driver whose strong suit isn't qualifying anyway

the sign of a true champion

Ferrari seems to have a lot of faith in Vettel, judging by their comments about providing him a better car.

Ferrari stopped developing their car 4 months ago because this season is lost anyway, you dumb shit. RB have been constantly improving it, even the PU got an upgrade recently.

>next year will be all about aero

Wrong.

If Ferrari wasn't crashing every first corner this year, they'd be ahead. They usually have better quali times than the RB's.

Hey guess what it was also unlike anything Ricciardo had driven at the time. In fact the 2014 cars were unlike anything any driver had driven at the time.

m8 your lack of self awareness is painful

Germanbro, did you get up on the wrongside of the bed?

Anyway, we arent saying vettel is shit, just that hes not as good as the modern legends like Alonso,, Shumacher and Hamilton, and hes certianly not worth 50 mill a year. Maybe hes a top 4 driver, but hes not one of the GOATs. Hes been flattered by Redbulls beast of a car during the Blown diffuser era. If he was really as good as his 4 wdc would suggests, he should be putting his ferrari in positions that would be considered impossible for other midfield drivers in the same car, like Alonso and to a certain extent Hamilton. He has always performed as well as the car allowed him to, and he seems just a little bit better than Raikennon. But Raikennon is an aging driver who is passed his peak, and if he really is that good, Vettel should be regularly thrashing Raikennon, and even challenging the bulls in these circuits. A great driver doesnt just win races when his car is superior. Vettel, has yet to win a race from a starting position below the 2nd grid.

My original point was simple: Ferrari, usually, has a faster car than RB. They've just had a ton of retarded issues all year. Their fault or not.

Ferrari drivers and engineer's have been making some mistakes this season, yes. It can also be russian torpedos or mad toothpastes.

Did you see Vettel's punishment for this weekend's drama? Amx did worse and got nothing for it. That also helps.

It's early if you don't work a shitty German wagecuck job that requires you to be in the office at 8am sharp.

t. flex time I can go into the office at 10 if I want.

...

...

Underrated.

>South Africa
>A country where whites live in armed gated communities for protection and others are chased out of their homes by niggers with guns to flee to better countries.
>A country where there are racial quotas in every aspect of life and all their sporting teams.

I would have thought it sounds like a Germans wet dream

You may have a point but if Soap Opera 1 and Kino 2 don't motivate someone what does?
thanks la

...

>>confuses south america with central america
>Good job at showing your superior german education

Oh yes, South America is SOOOO much more civilized and safe than Mexico amirite?

That video circulating recently of the guy being skinned alive then his head cut off with a dull blade was not Mexico, it was Guatemala.

Also, this:
youtube.com/watch?v=UlxdP6E9Jgs

>Hamilton starts last at Spa, finishing 3rd after taking a lot of cars at turn 1 and then almost every car in front of him making a mistake or crashing
>GOAT
>Rosberg is last AFTER the first corner, overtakes everyone and gets to 3rd (thanks to Hamilton's engine going)
>ROSBERG IS SHIT MATE FRAUD SABOTAGE GERMAN TEAM GERMAN DRIVER YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN M8

not to mention hamilel had a safety car whereas rosberg did not

Bring back banked turns.

Bring back the Killer Years.

...

#MRGA

what about the 3 virtual safety cars?

you don't catch up like you would with a normal safety car

SC bunches the pack, VSC keeps the same distance but all driving slower

youtube.com/watch?v=kxzn9K7qs9w

did rosberg pit under vsc?

What are you talking about m80?

>tries to prove me wrong about south america being different from central america
>by showing off his lack of education yet again
Guatemala is also central america, you dumb fuck. Try again. Or don't, I'm getting tired of your stupidity. And just so you know, mexico is still part of north america.

Also, brazil is a weak argument considering they're the literal and figurative niggers of south america. Try Argentina or Uruguay.

>>>confuses south america with central america
>>Good job at showing your superior german education
>Oh yes, South America is SOOOO much more civilized and safe than Mexico amirite?

Are you implying that Mexico is in Central America, Hans?

No. Mexico is pretty crazy but most of central america is just as fucked.

he did way before to get on hards

It is, isn't it?

Come on, m8. It is not that hard to google it.

Why Google when I have a talking FUCKIN LEAF at my disposal?

did they say what did ricciardo did wrong to get the 9?

Why does Max have all the cuties? Only to compensate for the monstrosity at the far right?

Didn't let Max pass him when they were chasing Hamilton.

Probably not letting wunderkind max through

He needs the cute ones to beat them up, ricci would just fuck them

>Rosberg: 7
>Hamilton: 10
>Vettel: 6

>that rare pokemon

>We live in a world where Gasly and Stroll will get F1 seats but Giovinazzi won't

I want off Bernies wild ride.

We live in a world where none of these four drivers are in F1

bring back closed wheel Merc's

>none of these four drivers are in F1
>Jules Bianchi

Delete this ;_;

Yeah Jules' career really hit a wall

get ready with me: straight white male edition

Thanks Finnbro.

>Rosberg: 7
For what purpose?

>Rosberg has his chance at a win ended and it's not his fault

7/10

>Hamilton has his race ended and it's not his fault

10/10

Probably driving through the field to 3rd?

Gotta give him credit for that, even though he only really fought with kimi

youtube.com/watch?v=wW0eXod8U2Q

>from 1:13

;_;

Meant it was too low when HAM get's a 10 for some reason.

make romain grosjean again?

STILL

Probably because HAM would have won if he's car didn't explode. Which is stupid, but most thing's seem to hype drivers that stayed in front, and did nothing all race.

>Drive like a shitter

SWEDEN YES

>Dutch marshals
The real reason there's no Dutch GP

that was ayrton you dip

Also fuck you niggers for forgetting VetGOD @ Singapore, starts last finishes 5th.
Theres a reason VetGOD is the best paid driver, wich is that he is the best driver on the grid. :)
Suck my dick asperger suomi who hopefully killshimself soon + cuckstralians.

Drinking from a boot also has military origins in Germany (1800's and 1900's are both mentioned as early records), which quick enough turned into pic related. It's old as fuck and there are no clear sources except it's been tradition for a long ass time.

...

Marshalls didn't have fireproof clothing back then, drivers did.

NICO

Ooh ooh silly oohyim.

...

what kind of slip up does Nico need to have for Ham to win the championship?

>just

to not at least finish 2nd in each of the remaining races i think.

nico needs to win 1 race and finish second in the rest (if lewis wins those) to win the wdc

I couldnt help myself.

>ferrari have the best PU

They do, it's rumored to have >1000 hp

You guys are the kind of kids that will believe anything lol

The only way to be skinned, beheaded or anything along those lines here is getting into businesses with narcos, which only poor people do.

If you stay out of it, you'll be completely fine.

>The only way to be skinned, beheaded or anything along those lines here is getting into businesses with narcos, which only poor people do.

PATENTLY FALSE. Stop shilling these lies.

never seen that picture before, where'd you find it?

The expert is speaking

germanbabby pls go, you're just making your flag look worse then us and toothpastes

OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE

Just imagine if they did it in Singapore. Straight up execution.

What's happening to Hulkenberg?

Is he going anywhere at all? Like he's not had the best of luck, but still Perez is beating him in the points. I remember his height and weight meant in 2013 he wasn't even looked at for a top drive, but will that still seriously affect his speed currently?

I'm just more curious, I haven't really followed him for a while TBQH.

Since Ferrari rejected him per SMS he's cared more about fucking his new "model" gf than really racing. He's still good but not 10/10 next superstar.

they've been arrested by the malaysian cops who are bretty strict themselves

expect a caning or two for the lads

He's probably past his peak, and no one picked him up when he was at it. Or more that he never really peaked because he didn't have the upwards momentum and support.

I don't think he's gonna get into a top team, unless Renault take him when his FI contract runs out, but it's more likely they'll take Perez. I suspect he'll go to WEC with Porsche.

>tfw Suzuka next
>tfw Japanese fans are easily the best

Already preparing for the halo

>all the hats have driver numbers except for the bottas one

do the nips hate finnish drivers?

>we will never have real wet races again
I used to get excited whenever there was a chance of rain on a race weekend.

It does. It is just at the back

Japs like Finns

cheers la, i take that back

classic gimi

someone at reddit should turn that into an ebin remix with some bwoahhs :D:D:D:D:D:D

Damn, those halos really look like a thong on the helmets.

...

where are you guys seeing these halos? all I see is the top camera

...

nvm, didn't see the bottom 2 helmets

well i mean the t cam is kinda thong-shaped as well

anybody still following the Badger GP /f1/ fantasy league? pretty close at the top

I meant hamilton

Even nico and ham used to be "friends" till they started competing for championships.
I don't think 2 drivers in a team who are both in contention for the championship can get along really well

Nico and Lewis are pretending to hate each other for "The Show"

You've got to be trolling

r/ing Nico and Ham fanfic

>His mouth on Nico’s cock is the only point of contact between their bodies that Nico can really feel, the heat of Lewis’ body elsewhere confined by layers of insulation, the rest of it a faint impression in comparison. Lewis is good at it, too, measuring his angles of attack and reading his reactions off his body, adjusting his technique as he gathers the necessary information, until his go at it is steadily moving up the ranks of best blowjob given by people Nico’s not married to.

>Nico risks opening his eyes again, the initial unassuming view of the ceiling helping to draw him back from the edge somewhat, and watches Lewis work. Lewis stills, as though he can feel Nico watching him again, and he momentarily stills and raises his head. And, holy god, the image of that mouth stretched around him, the base of his cock emerging from between Lewis’ lips, the bottom one, drawn into a pout against him due to the angle, concealed from his view, nearly finishes him off right then. He scrabbles for purchase, for leverage, and finds it in Lewis’ hair, and firmly manoeuvers his head back down.

>Lewis follows his directions without resistance, casually giving up the initiative and letting Nico set the pace now, as he moves up and down the length of him to a rhythm that comes to Nico by flashes of inspiration, and it doesn’t take long, like this, before orgasm catches up with him and he’s coming, his come pooling in Lewis’ mouth until the workings of his throat swallow it off, his hands falling away again.

Germany does have a bit of a point

the RB10 had a downforce balance (less downforce) more similar to the STR7/8 than the RB9, and had a very loose rear end as a result (just like your mother desu)

Vettel was more used to cars with planted, predictable rear ends while to Ricciardo it was just like the Toro Rossos he'd been driving for the past two years, so he adapated much more quickly. Vettel had to drastically change his driving style and, judging by the way Kimi is beating him this season, still hasn't fully adapted

Vettel's lack of adaptability is a big shortcoming, I doubt he'll go down in the history books as the next Schumacher.

>less than one correct prediction separating the top 3

wew, it'll be fun to see peoples teams at the end of the season.

Totally forgetting the red flag essentially helped him on a podium.

>tfw 14th

Feels okay man

Anyone know what happened to that autistic leaf that made those spreadsheets at the start of the season?

Now that's ironic

>tfw when in the Top 5

:^)

are all aussies such sick cunts? ricciardo has the best sense of humour of the competition, all other drivers are too white (boring), even hamilton

I hope Bully doesn't change when he's inevitably challenging for the title next season. Be brilliant to see him still being a cheeky cunt whilst his title rivals are all on edge in press conferences and cool down rooms.

forced women/blacks quotas in F1 when?

I just remembered that
>ricciardo will never win another race
guy
I wonder if he's killed himself

i hope ur a girl

it will be party of liberty media's strategy to bring in more female/black/asian/transgender fans

there were a few >ricciardo will never win another race posters

i wonder if we should tell them that ricciardo won another race

>he doesn't have sexual fantasies about nico
what are you, gay?

Maybe he never will win another race. Someday it will be true

*blush*
I can be any kind of girl you want me to be...

Mfw I always forget Ricciardo is 27

I'm 27. Can I be Ricciardo now?

No.

It's only a bit weird because the ages of drivers have been distorted by the likes of Vettel and more recently Max

His career is actually progressing quite nicely, and considering how far you can extend your career nowadays and remain competitive, he still has a decade left in the sport.

Max on the other hand has the potential to be in F1 for TWO DECADES lol

but honda's engine is folded over 9000 times and made from glorious nippon steel

it's that new thread time of the year lads

Unless of course, max gets exposed.
