Honestly I'd recommend not going to Vegas, personally. It's way, way better when it's a smaller, more intimate event. You can get amazing seats for less and just the general feel of the event is more exciting.

McGregor had a guaranteed title shot if he had decided to simply wait on RDA to heal; however, McGregor did a big favor to the UFC by taking the short notice fight (which turned out to be the biggest fight the UFC has ever done), so they are showing leniency regarding defending the 145lb belt.
We are now simply back to where we were before RDA pulled out.

Outside of the UFC, yes, absolutely. He was a boxing-centric fighter with a decent submission game who almost always pursued the finish and had a tendency to get rocked early before coming back to win.
