When I was a little kid I liked airplanes. I typed into Netscape Navigator "Jets" and didn't see airplanes, so that's how it happened.

There are different neighborhoods/areas that have traditionally been Jets/Giants. Queens is pretty heavily Jets, for example. I'd say roughly 75% of New York is Giants now, but it used to be mostly Jets.

Of course the announcer likes the Jets, he's Kevin Burkhardt, he used to work for the Mets and he's from New York. In what world do you live in where think these games are supposed to have "neutral" announcers. CBS and FOX have regional broadcasting teams they assign every week, the game is in NY so a NY based crew got the broadcast. If the game was in Seattle, you would probably have your shit announcer who does all the NFC West games.
