Just ultramarathoned this. Pure kino. Gorgeously filmed. Sure to be classic.
A blasphemy to mention this along those shitty jump-scare horror flicks.

What was Thomasin's sin? I feel like everything happened because of the father's decision. And the subsequent evil shit was a means of getting her alone and luring her.

ultramarathoned? its a movie

wat kinos have you ultramarathoned Cred Forums?

>just got done marathoning one movie
are you fucking retarded?

What canst thou give me?

faggots like you are as bad as the porn and pedo spam

>being baited this easily

Her sin was apathy. She stopped caring about the things she said and it bit her in the ass.

>tfw you were there when the first "just marathoned this kino" thread was made

From my understanding, mental retardation is an actual disorder - OP is just stupid, and The Witch was a beautifully-shot, terrible movie.

...

you probably started coming here yesterday

I couldn't help but root for her when she told off her father. They should have left as soon as Samuel disappeared.

Honestly, did this scare anybody at all?

felt more like a mystery thriller that I was trying to solve during the movie.

Nah, it was enthralling but not scary.

Not even one bit.
It didn't even work as a thriller for me. They basically reveal the supernatural part early one. But maybe also I got spoilered.
It just was a simple story, told straight and incredibly done. I don't think we ever had such a basic, well done witch movie.

Those 2 little kids were the real monsters in this film, pure nightmare fuel

Fuck off memer

Do you actually feel afraid for yourself or do you just have empathy for the characters?

it only made my peepee tingle cause thomasin was so hot

Also, Caleb's actor did a fantastic job. I actually cared for his character through the end.

...

...

was it rape?

Lel. The Devil didn't really seem interested in turning her into a witch.

Yeah, not really a "horror" movie.

It was strangely anticlimatic like a documentary or something

>Lel. The Devil didn't really seem interested in turning her into a witch.

What? He offered her earthly riches, referenced in terms a simple peasant could understand, for her soul and servitude.

her sin was cockteasing her brother and not giving him dat perfect ass

I don't get scared by films but I found it super tense. the atmosphere was as thick as it gets and it featured incredible imagerie, which is all I ask for.

based Black Phillip

this movie dragged too much at certain parts to be "tense"

also, goat devil is adorable.

not exactly nightmare fuel material.

...

The late response and asking her what does she want, as if he didn't know already.
Maybe he wanted to make her more interested.
I would've done without the man appearing though. The goat sufficed. He didn't seem devilish enough.

Sorry, wanted to reply to

lol thanks for this one

It was brilliant, simple, well done

She was happy in the end so maybe it was a coming of age story.
