Comedy is the highest form of art. I am sorry if you think it's not, but frankly it's also the most subjective. He does a lot of unusual directions, and they're not punchlines as much as play on words. I think eminem does punchlines. Ironically those were comedies in those times. Comedies were known as stories of lost and love. With its evolution it became so elevated it it was more about wit and satire.

Then you got the guys that just milk it for punch lines and puns, which isn't good comedy, but no one is saying it is. No one says Scarey Movies and Epic Movie and Disaster Movie are good comedies. It's apparent.

But why? Why are they bad comedies, what are good comedies? You can't say there wasn't enough jokes, like a bad action that doesn't have enough action. Why are they terrible and Airplane was funny and Naked Gun, when they were almost the exact same style.
