pretty good except for the songs

walken as king louie = inspired

>pretty good except for the songs

This, would have been a 9/10 without the shoehorned musical numbers

Still a great movie. 8/10, would watch again

Generic summer blockbuster

It was fine, nothing interesting to discuss about.

the kid was terrible

Voice acting 10/10
Acting 5/10
Story 9/10
Musical Numbers 3/10 worst part

Best performances
Baloo
Bagura
King Louie

Shere Khan did nothing wrong. He should have been the hero, not the villain.

Other than that, it was a good movie. Only those two songs sucked.

You are lying. This movie really wasn't generic at all, user

A surprisingly well-paced and enjoyable movie. I went into this ready not to like it.

Ended up liking it. Also saw it while visiting Disney World too.

>Bagura

This.

My only real issue with the movie was that fucking annoying kid.

>Bagura

I didnt like it boring. 5/10. Kid was bad

It was pretty good.

The king louie introduction was dark and menacing as fuck.

I was noping so hard when the musical number started being led in.

The third act just completely fell apart. That's really not how burning down a green forest works.

Alot isn't a word

>Any moment this motherfucker appear....
>Especially when he kills Akela

I think Idris Elba did a great job voicing him. This Shere Khan is none of that sissy cat of the original cartoon, but a psychotic, bloodthirsty, badass tiger.

Overall the story was okay, though i kinda wish for Mowgli's inevitable return to the human village to be more hinted.

Honestly the musical numbers were so out of place

Also, ScarJo's Kaa is pretty cool though and perhaps one of the most memorable, even though she is barely in it.

Well he did break the law of the jungle by killing men for sport (holy shit). At least that is wrong in the book.

I didn't mind the kid.

He acted like an actual kid, rather than a mutated nightmare of childhood that most child actors are.

Good point.

I thought it was great. Looked amazing, well paced, told a good story, each scene was entertaining, and it was exotic as fuck and a great choice for a CGI story. Only subversivefags who demand every movie be the smartest shit they've ever seen don't like this movie.
