I believe that in early versions of RotS, there was a subplot with Anakin being suspicious of Obi-Wan and Padme having an affair, but it was dropped during a late rewrite.. I have read that it's the reason for some of the dialogue in the final cut, like the scene in the apartment:

And on Mustafar
>I don't wanna hear anymore about Obi-Wan.

There's also a even with Padme saying they should ask Obi-Wan for help, I think on Mustafar again:

>ANAKIN: Us!?
The Episode III script is weird in this way, it was changed late to make the plot more focused on Anakin thinking the Jedi were evil, and in editing Lucas wanted to make it more focused on Anakin saving Padme, which is why the "Jedi are evil" line is out of place.
