78% on RT. Is this bait? It was a box office bomb as I heard

It wasn't, it was barely advertised, and had the stink of Stallone's terrible version tainting it, I personally fucking loved it and hope there's a sequel.

the silly helmets

shit marketing pushing the 3d thing too much.

>ywn be a Judge

The trailer said Dread 3D or some shit, noped right away. Regret it to this day.

This faggot produced it:

>I'm not some douchebag in a suit

Not in a suit, no.

most of the audience nowadays would want to side with the criminals, the Judges are oppressive

>it was barely advertised
Agreed.

>and had the stink of Stallone's terrible version tainting it
People insist on this shitty excuse? Jesus, the Stallone movie is from 1995!

Fuck off.

Lots of really good movies are poorly received at first. Look at 2001, The Shining, or The Thing for example.

It's kind of like "The raid" and the first one was actually great.

Fuck everything... i miss the violence of the 80/90. Not only the blood but the violent tone in general, the over sexualization, the total disregard for trying to make the content so it wouldn't offend anyone.

Today's shit is really making me feel like John Spartan. FUCK!!

> you are fined five credits for repeated violations of the verbal morality statute.

>Watched it day one in full 3D
>Still have the Dredd 3D glasses

Unless you're Dredd that's for the best.

Because it was shit

Bad marketing. Tainted IP.

How many credits is 1 dollar?

you mean another reboot

it tried to be a hard ass action movie but you could smell the cuck all over it

millenials are scared of the law

I liked it. Blondie was fine as fuck, too.

JUDGEMENT TIME

It wasn't received badly, it had shit ads and got released at the worst time ever - right at the start of the fall college semester, when the primary demo for this movie wouldn't able to spend as much time on movies. If they'd moved the release window a bit, more people could've seen it in theaters.

How many times have you guys seen Dredd? I think its at least 5 times for me

At least 3 for me. It's a great movie for when you want to kick back and relax to some asskicking.

5 iimes. Once in the theater, twice by myself at home, once showing it to some mates, and once showing it to my dad.

When it came out on bluray I watched it 5 fucking too. Watched the beginning of the movie at least 50 times.

I'm pretty sure The Matrix had a relatively poor reception. Then it came out on VHS/DVD and it went the other way.

4, 3 in the movie theater, 1 with the bluray

Slo-motion done right

Not ambitious enough.

>Stallone movie is from 1995!
And it wasn't that bad.

I don't know about you but everyone I knew went fucking bonkers over The Matrix when it was in theaters.

1. It was a reboot of a comically goofy and over-the-top 90's bomb
2. no major names- there was Urban and Headly but neither are A listers
3. 3D, not everyone wants to see a movie in 3D or pay 3D prices

>I'm pretty sure The Matrix had a relatively poor reception.
underage and b&

i found sarah connor to be a terrible final boss.
