When I look at the view it's obvious from the initial jolt foreward to the exit would he wasn't shot from the right (knoll). I do think though that since the exit wound is quite far to the right it's plausible that the shot came from one of the other buildings to the south of the book depository and to JFK's left. The jolt forward could be explained by the fact that your neck bends forward slightly easier than to the side.
