Why was Anakin so mad at not being granted the rank of Jedi Master in episode 3? It's the highest rank in Jedi Council and he was only 22 at the time, 3 years younger than Obi-wan in first episode

because he believes he's the Chosen one and they're delaying his ascension because of jealousy and scummy jedi power plays

...

What if Disney reboots the prequel trilogy?

It would be hard to make it worse.

One of the few things that needs it.

because he was arrogant, narcissistic, and completely full of himself.

you just have to look at anybody who does a shit job at something, like they make a terrible movie, but honestly think it is the best thing ever and get all buttmad whenever they dont get all the praise and recognition they think they deserve.

anakin was the same way, he thought he was the best most awesome jedi who ever lived and truly thought he deserved everything be given to him.
that or lucas is just a lazy writer.

>he was only 22

Wait a minute

Are we to believe that Darth Vader is in his 40s in RotJ

He was 19 in Episode II, so about 22-23 in Episode III, and in his 40s come RoTJ.

That's what happens when you get JUSTed by the Dark Side and by lava, user...

>tfw Anakin married a girl several years his senior

They could fix so many problems.

But they'd probably fuck things up.

This, and he's right anyways. Anakin is a huge part of the war effort at that point and carrying it on multiple fronts.
Anakin should've followed Dooku and Ahsoka's lead and said "fuck this" to the Republic and the Jedi Council. Neither of them are worth saving, especially given the personal sacrifices they demand of you. Maybe if you don't want someone to go all "I'm the chosen one" you shouldn't kidnap them at age 9 and force them into a crazy warrior cult.

Fuck the Jedi, they are just religious zealots that use child soldiers to do their bidding

keks

please no. episode 7 was bad enough

pseudo pacifists as HK 47 called them

That was probably part of it too, tbqh.

>get told you're the Chosen One for 10 years while training
>have to fight a war all over the galaxy for three years, straining your relationship with your wife (a relationship you have to hide from the Jedi)
>the Jedi entrust you with an apprentice but she ends up leaving after they basically betray her
>after putting up with all this shit and basically being a war hero for saving countless planets (in the show) you ask for a promotion to become a Jedi Master
>"No you can't handle it!!"

Warrior monks. Big mistake was getting involved in politics. They should have stayed out of it and tried to mediate and stem the loss of life as much as possible. But instead they let themselves be used as government super soldiers. They got played hard.

Master is like a black belt in BJJ. You're going to be at that level of ability for a long time before you're considered eligible to bare the title. Anakin was being an immature brat. They shouldn't have even put him on the council.

Sin of pride

user, he thought that eay because he literally WAS that good...the council is made up of cucks who constantly made his training harder. They shit on his parade on day one.

Sort of glad thosr celebate weirdos got all murdered, they were terrible

>its pride if you are actually that good and right all along

>yes thats right

Thats bullshit tho. The fucker is quite literally the force with limbs he's so buffed and triple prestiged. Him explaining that is not pride.

You realize that there's more to it than your technical performance in fighting and stuff, right? Jedi are supposed to be a lot more shit than just super duper space warriors.

Not to mention the Jedi Masters were all jerks who didn't trust him yet used him to spy on his bff Palpatine.

Tell that to the prequels...

He literally says that its because he was put on the jedi council, no one put on the council was a jedi knight, they were all masters. Hes also been fighting a war for 3 years and achieved some pretty remarkable victories in that time, performing a lot better than other jedi masters.

Anakin believes his martial prowess and battlefield intellect/cleverness are merit alone to grant him the status of master in that he had already delved into the dark side as all he cares about is power. In the Clone Wars cartoons you could see he is overtly emotional and attached to people, he didnt have the cool detachment of a regular jedi as he was always invested into the people he was trying to defend and the warriors who fought along side him.

Anakin more than anything lacked the emotional maturity of a jedi master which is something he clearly did not understand nor really want and was frustrated and rebeling against Jedi teachings his entire career with them.

>you shouldn't kidnap them at age 9 and force them into a crazy warrior cult.

lolFORCED?!

The rejected him the moment they met him and its was Qui Gon who insisted Anakin be trained.

Obi Wan trended up train him because qui gon was killed by maul and his death is what persuaded Yoda to allow it.

Did you even watch the fucking movie?
