how do we get this made into a movie?
specifically one that is well made and true to the book.
How do we get this made into a movie?
Would never be allowed unfortunately
Would make great miniseries
>Would never be allowed unfortunately
why not?
>Would make great miniseries
for real!
becuase crichton was a global warming denier and this is just about that.
surely there's enough people who could come together and make it.
shit, even left behind got made twice despite hollywood/media/government being anti-god
They should make Prey instead, but State of Fear could be a secondary choice.
Prey dude, Prey.
>nanomachines son
this book was okay, but wont work on film.
Why was Crichton so based
RIP
big hero 6
he got killed for this book tbqh
>well made
>true to the book
I'm afraid you can only pick one.
Dude it could easily work on film, especially with tech now and if they stayed super faithful to the book it would be good and you goddamn know it.
It's literally Andromeda Strain with Nanomachines. How would that not work?
The Road says hi.
the concept is dumb
micro machines that can bend light and look indistinguishable from what its imitating, and where the whole AI thing came from, and how it stayed "alive"
the book felt dumb.
its anti-libtard and anti-hollywood
whoever made it would end up like Gibson after he made the Passion
its easily his 2nd worst sci fi book (the worst being the jurassic park sequel)
You understand The Road is a different book, right? I'm not sure you're following here.
>micro machines
Wrong book, user. State of Fear was the global warming one.
terminator genysis?
I was talking about Prey.
They need to make a better version of Timeline, or base a TV show on it. Loved that book
Let's at least agree that The Lost World was the greatest book, and the greatest piece of the Jurassic Park franchise overall with JP1 the movie in second.
Prey would still be a god tier Crichton movie.
Why bother? It was not a good book.
>secret agent grabs some lawyer, hands him a gun, and tells him to go hunt down some terrorists
Premise was interesting and it has some interesting ideas/data about climate, but the plot was STOOPID.
patrician opinion
>the terrible secret is that Disclosure was the most relevant book to 21st century culture Crichton could write (excluding Andromeda Strain bullshit we would never be allowed to learn about)
Doesnt always wirk. Ever seen congo? Actually the book was pretty forgetable too.
