To answer your question: it's a lack of courage. Chris Morris was genuinely brave in some of the stuff he did. Not just trolling politicians, or antagonising the popular press, he walked out into the street and asked actual west London dealers for yellow bentines. And whoever was in charge at Channel 4 and agreed to screen his stuff: I salute them. They were brave too.
