Always Sunny or Arrested Development.

Sopranos

Nah

Arrested in development is incredible, always sunny has moments which are superb but its like once a season

>trump

Cred Forums is that way ---->

I didn't say anything about trump

The ending of the bingo kamekazi literally had me rolling on the floor laughing my ass off

The Life and Times of Tim did Curb's humor better than curb.

oh you

No

The one where Larry cuts the hair on that little girl's "Judy" doll may be one of my favorite episodes of anything ever made. Funny as fuck.

I have only seen like 5 episodes of Curb in my life and really wanna watch the whole series.

Should I start from season 1 or do you recommend a specific season?

I do suggest starting from season 1 but be warned episode 1 is pretty boring. The way the show works is interesting, there's a long story and pay off for each episode and an underlying season long plot that progresses through each episode and that double pays off on the last episode. Enjoy yourself my man.

The black swan had me rolling, but i honestly didn't laugh that much throughout the show. Still enjoyed it, but other shows have made laugh much more.

I wouldn't say these trump CYE but I'd put them on the same level. Also The Thick of It.

youtube.com/watch?v=WLnPKUPE4yo

gets me in tears everytime

jerry's face

I fucking love this episode. I felt so uncomfortable and it was so hilarious. Great ending.

Seinfeld, and a lot of other shows. CYE has so many shitty episodes. Not sure why people are gay for it, except for Larry being their autistic hero.

Thats not Rescue Me though

what's that about?

>implying this episode wasn't better than palestinian chicken

Seinfeld, Curb, and Larry Sanders are probably the holy trinity of comedy

That guy needs help and nobody will give it to him

>Larry Sanders
never heard of it, what is it?

OOP, that means OUT OF PRODUCTION

That mom was such a bitch

ME AND MY SISTER LARRY

Good times watching it with my pops while he was going through chemo. Every time i watch CYE I tear up a bit.

And Fucking Leon

>I WAS FUCKING TWO WHITE WOMEN IN YOUR BED LARRY

It's coming to HBO Go soon. The Larry Sanders show, created, co-written and starring the late Garry Shandling, with Jeffrey Tambor and Rip Torn. It's from the mid to late 90s. It's about "Larry Sanders," a late night talk show host, his putting on the show every night, being neurotic and self deprecating, show biz/staff hijinks. It's brilliant.

sounds interesting, i'll give it a go especially due to how you see curb and seinfeld

Best Leon scene

youtube.com/watch?v=Rcy867ajL1Q

Enjoy. You'll see Jerry and Jason Alexander pop up in a couple episodes, as well as the Seinfeld set.

I really feel like marathoning the entire show again. It's been so long that I can only vaguely the plot points and have forgotten the punchlines.

...

HOLY SHIT
I forgot about this shit
Fuck man its been years I gotta watch this shit again.

>I'm the motherfucking president of hitting DAt assssss

curb is a show that's surprisingly rewatchable. I thought it would be less enjoyable because it's the same jokes and even though i know whats coming I really enjoy every moment of it

leon is a fucking legend. do you remember in the final season he drove all the way from the west coast to new york just to chill with larry? He didn't fly he fucking drove. that man is a ledge.

>I Danny Dooba-steened the fuck out the man in that room! Fucking Viola!

arrested development is definitely a better comedy and seinfeld probably is too. I can't really compare a comedy to a non-comedy though.

kek

Arrested development is amazing but it's definitely not better than curb in terms of set ups and payoffs. Curb is just amazing with how well the story is structured and plays off his life and pays off perfectly. He's such a schlemiel

I agree that Curb has a better structure to it but you certainly can't ignore the depth of AD

I'm not ignoring it. I fucking LOVE AD, the show is brilliant and your mind is blown so much at how they make everything work

I would argue that AD has more rewatch value because of the intricacy. Curb has it too but I have found that some of the plotlines are so memorable that it's hard to watch again

>Stop getting Bond wrong!

I'd say Curb, I'm Alan Partridge, and golden era Simpsons are my top three sit-coms.

they should have had more of Larry being intimidating/mafia-boss like to his friend group. jeff, leon, funkhouser, danson, etc. were all great!

Sounds a bit like a proto-30 Rock.

Preddy intriguing.

...

lol when he shows up with Larry's Prius from the previous seasons and he's all like
>i thought your car was a bitch car but she actually got some spirit in her!

Rick and Morty

>is probably the greatest
such a reddit thing to say

Curb is like re reading a really enjoyable book. I find both have memorable scenes but AD is more fast paced and compact with more jokes while Curb is more a story so it's harder to remember all the little jokes that keep making you laugh than the long plot of Curb that has you bursting with laughter in the end. You know what I mean? With curb you have little laughs but the ending is when you really just have a hearty satisfying laughter session.

leon is probably the most bro character on the show, he never bitched on larry and always had his back. Even when he got the ejaculate blame he was still all chill.

the outtakes from that scene (or the whole season for that matter) are incredible. Knowing that the actors were laughing so hard at the scene that they had to cleverly edit to get around it makes it that much better

The whole plot line of Larry being in The Producers was absolute kino.

I had never been so hopeful for a character in a show / movie not to fuck something up.

>Ejaculate
>Spell it

holy shit are you serious? I never saw the behind the scenes or outtakes, could you link to where I could watch these?

youtube.com/watch?v=tRifPiuew1k

>I forgot how to multiply -- I could subtract but I couldn't multiply! If I'm fucking six women, three times a day, seven days a week, how many times per a week am I fucking? was it 10? was it 130? was it 16?

>Danny Duberstein is good at two things, that's math and fuckin'.

>did I leave the oven on?

cheers lad

Remember the scene that references Michael Richards using the word niggers on stage?

youtube.com/watch?v=ktZde2tEK1Y

the krame still got it baby

>holy shit are you serious?
calm down, retard

what's wrong with excitement?

Why are you sperging out so hard?

It's called still having the will to live and enjoying life. I got happy and excited that there's more content to enjoy from a show I love, it's nice to be able to see more of people you enjoyed for so many years! I suggest you try to be happy and motivated instead of trying to stamp out others' happiness user, it's not going to make you feel any better.

>pretty boring

heh.

>here's a long story and pay off for each episode and an underlying season long plot

did you never watch seinfeld?

That excited over the outtakes of a modern TV show?

LE HOLY SHIT DUUUDE!! XD XD

Jeff was probably the most bro character in the show, no matter what he was ALWAYS on Larry's side. Besides I think once in season 1.

>>did you never watch seinfeld?
I did. This show is made by the guy who made that show so you can imagine how the show works. It's like Seinfeld but everything is so much better and much more organic feeling.

Of course I'm excited! I get to see more shit of a show I love! I just told you, I don't see why I shouldn't be excited. Life is just something exciting and cheerful to me and this of course includes tv shows I love too!

>!
stop trying so hard

I'm not trying anything lad

If you look at the bus stop in the background you'll see a different Rescue Me advert. Meaning that in the Rescue Me universe there is a show called Rescue Me.

>is there any show you think may trump it?
the apprentice

you're fired

...

>why didn't you just fly?
>fly?! nah man you gotta have ID and shit for that man

Well it kind of did you know
Kind of
Maybe
Yeah it did
It did do better

KELSEY GRAMMER!

Hello, little Frasier.

don't you mean sideshow bob?

youtube.com/watch?v=eSjj0mQKgAQ

>In typical cuck fashion, the cucked user get's upset over the word "trump"

2016 bitches

who's stoked for the new season?

>Let me tell you something, this motherfuckin’ car got some heart! I was surprised. I thought it was a bitchass car. This bitch got some motherfuckin’ heart to it.

how about his wife?

im against dom women but for her i make an exception

that jew mouth mmm

I like a woman with a smart-ass mouth.

I know what you mean, I'm not sure if jeff is a lucky or unlucky man.

Hey, I like those shows too. WTF?

you four-eyed fuck!

Oh man, Im watching Hanks New Assistant and grinning like an idiot.

Doing god's work, user

looks like his smoking habit finally caught up to him

yeah well fuck you

AD except the last season is a contender
Also golden era Simpsons

good list

seasons 1-9?

Larry laughing at the kamikaze survivors plane "skimming" the boat had me in tears.

CHICKEN BOY CHICKEN BOY

I'm about half way through the first season with my gf and not enjoying it much, does it improve?

Check it out.

it gets so much better

LARRY YOU FOUR EYE FUCK

Post some good parts to convince us it's the best

>The kid is HYS-TERI-CAL, because her doll, JUDY, has been DE-CAP-I-TAT-EEEEEED

Susie is best girl

That was brilliant and a great way to handle it. These episodes were so comfy. The second to last, table read, was a lot better than the last w all the Mocha Joe stuff though.

>us

Most of us have seen it.

Lewis needs a kidney

man im a goy but i fucking love jew humour, its the greatest consistent comedy

bob einstein, larry david, jerry seinfeld, garry shandling

theyre fucking another level above everyone else. just funny off the cuff all the time, thats the best kind of funny, not some dumb shit story about how you're a cuck or youre from new york so youre cool or uncool for some stupid bullshit reason

youtube.com/watch?v=0zret7O8YoU

mmh

youtube.com/watch?v=k3UJGYrSMBo

Richard is an asshole man, larry dies for him and he's out holidaying lmao that nigga man

>It's a Richard Lewis wears black and can't stand up straight episode

Nah, it's good but severely hyped up.

often i agree with him but sometimes do you guys think he's way too autistic and unforgiving? Llike with cheryl, he couldn't just forgive her why did he have to be autistic about the rings on the coffee table?

>It's a big vagina episode.

\ /

Keep in mind he has $500m and can fuck anyone he wants

Why doesn't he get to be neurotic and make people admit their faults?

If you have $500m you don't have to take shit from anyone ever again

I agree with his actions with that in mind

he had 800 mil while shooting actually. he obsesses about a few dollars. what a jew kek

its fun to be a jew with money. the whole generos thing is some goy creation to cause them to be broke all the time

knowing the value of a dollar goes a long way to ensuring you dont become broke

ive been broke twice and the first was cause i was born broke the second time was because i wasnt careful with my money

never again, i wont be some broke goy

>trumpfag
>can't read
>can't write
Seem's pretty accurate.

We can all agree that the Producers finale was the best episode.
>Who knew that Larry David could be so funny?

mel brooks was amazing in that episode

of course but this dude has 800 million dollars and he's fussy about getting a sweaty 50 dollar bill from the shoe of funkhauser fucking KEK

its a power thing, why let someone fuck you over just because they can say "oh i can fuck you over, you're rich!"

nah senpai, fuck you, i'm either equal with you or better, but i aint your bitch

i dropped a friend for ~10 years because he ((borrowed)) $300 and never paid me back

I saw the pilot and thought it was stupid, unfunny and unwatchable but after a year or so I gave it another chance and binge-watched the whole series.
TL;DR Just watch it faggot.

I love that episode where Larry fakes heart attacks to get out of confrontation

Best finale was the restaurant opening though

Sometimes you just gotta let go, friendships are worth more than money. It depends on the situation though desu.

also Larry david has 800 mil! He doesn't have to worry so much about money but he barely even carries money too. He couldn't even pay the 3 dollars parking fee lmao. If I were him I'd probably carry 1000 in cash at all times.

that was such a beautiful moment. Larry was a hero just like all those people shaving their heads for the cancer patient he swore his head off for the tourettes guy

>i dropped a friend for ~10 years because he ((borrowed)) $300 and never paid me back

i do similar things on a regular basis over minor grievances, which is probably why i have so few people in my life

don't even get me started on going in on people that try to pull some serious shit

yeah i agree he should have $100 at all times

and nah fuck that shit i will drop anyone alive who steals from me. this person especially would jew you about money if you owed them $20, then they forget to pay back $300. not a friend at all, just a person from geographical circumstance

>turning down the cunny

>cringporn
>thinking jewish self-deprecation values won't rub off on you because you are laughing along too

Moods are infectious, that is their aim, don't touch this shit.

>Did you tell her my tray was down?

what's a cunny?

Seinfeld

>neo-Cred Forums doesn't even know cunny
wew

That picture kek

holy shit

>tfw season 9 is coming

That's the point, isn't it? Larry is stubborn and gets worked up about tiny injustices, and that gets him in trouble.

well?

This is one of my favourite photos ever, this just looks so cool

>"Quit scratching your balls and tell me where the fucking doll head is!"

where do i start with alan partidge?

These 2 would have to be the worlds richest comedians right?

Worlds richest pure comedy writers

Worlds richest comedy actors

Like you're looking at fucking 11/10 elite right there, but they still come off human

They're richer than the richest people in a shitload of countries, but they don't seem it

they're not stupid with their money and waste it trying to look good, they dress and act like ordinary people its just awesome

400 + 800 millions dollars

There's something strange about how they're the same height and build. Certainly some magic at work right there bringing them together to become juggernauts.

Imagine starting a business with your friend doing what you love and making hundreds of millions. That's like 0.00000000000001% shot.

just read up a bit and larry would have 800 too if it wasn't for a divorce, kek

Well, if you check out some of Larry Davids stand-up, you can see that he was always some kinda "outta left-field" comedian..and Jerry loved him for it.

LOL

When you listen to Seinfeld speak about Seinfeld he constantly talks about there being some magic in the air type thing with Larry.

I don't believe in magic or god or anything like that, but when you consider they pulled off a 0.000000000001% fete and could 'feel' the magic, it makes it hard to deny.

The episode where they're in the parking garage for instance wrote itself when the car stopped working in the final scene. They mention lots of things like that happening during production.

she sucked him dry but he was cool with it, he believes she was inthe right to take that from him and hopes she's happy. it's pretty cool desu.

Is season 1 meant to be funny?

Is your sense of humour meant to be taken seriously?

season 1 is a bit experimental but after that it's great.

youtu.be/VONoYWxSAsI

As someone who doesn't play baseball I don't really understand what that means, could you reiterate for me please?

...

fucking lol

i love AD but its just clever writing , and aalways sunny is just absolute unfunny shit.

Now watch neo tv try to defend sunny by calling me a faggot or 'kys'

No one defended always Sunny.
You're still a faggot and should end your life

>just clever writing
>just
is this a criticism? i don't understand

There's only a 7 year age difference between them, that surprised me, considering Larry's been grey and bald since Seinfeld began.

Also, can anyone tell me how they met? Were they friends before the show or did the studio put them together?

a faggot

>Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld first noted their comedic affinity for each other when Seinfeld read some comedic material David had “gifted” a friend, Carol Leifer for her birthday. David — nearly broke — had given Leifer some jokes as a birthday “gift.” Too drunk to read them aloud, she handed them off to Seinfeld; he killed, which suggested some creative potential between the two men

fucking magic, elaine is also partially based of leifer who was also a writer on seinfeld

Larry's one of those eastern European Jews like Bernie Sanders. They look geriatric by the time they're 30.

this really does sound like magic. almost soul mate like experience.

its kismet or serendipity or some fucking shit

>you will never have some magical bond form with a stranger which turns into the best few years of your life that gives you more money than youll ever need and makes your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren all millionaires

fuck

>kismet
just like Larry says.

it is my hope that I will have such amazing bonds with people. they are truly a fantastic duo and thank god they managed to run into each other.

How's her pussy by the way

I love how on Curb they're just bros that are on the same level.

Jerry even does the same penetrating stare that Larry does.

The best episodes are the one with the restaurant opening and the producers opening

prove me wrong

People think I'm being silly or jokey when I said Seinfeld is my idol. The guy went from nothing to $500m+ and has aged gracefully and has a good family and is happy. He has every metric of success a person can want.

So I've watch a load of his interviews and know a lot of his opinions, few interesting things I can remember

>He believes in reincarnation, and doesn't fear death because of it
>He meditates twice a day, and has meditated once a day since he was 18 and credits meditating for his ability to write/produce/act in Seinfeld all at once

>trump

>>Jerry even does the same penetrating stare that Larry does.
that's the eye of the jew, my friend
urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=the eye of the jew

He could be considered my idol too but I think he has aged pretty bad, he has looked like an old man since the 70s iirc. His body is surprisingly young looking though, in the episode where he's almost drowning you see his body and it's very youthful.

Start with I'm Alan Partridge. There are only two series of six half hour episodes. Then watch Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa.
After that check out his stand ups that use Alan and his appearances on The Day Today.

did some more googling
>The first time I met him, that's a long story... I actually was eavesdropping on him talking to another comedian, and I wasn't even in comedy yet. But he was leaning on my car in front of the Improv on 9th Ave and 44th Street, and this would be probably 1975. That was the first time I ever saw him. But we didn't talk. But him and this other comedian were leaning on the fender of my car, and I knew that they were real comedians and I was still just flirting with it. So I don't know if that answers the question.
that's from a reddit ama, and he goes on to say that larry doesn't even know that story

I said Seinfeld senpai, Larry is certainly my idol but Seinfeld pips him because he maintained health into his 60s. Even if he drops dead randomly tomorrow he lived a better life just by being healthy.

oh oh you're right sorry my bad I read wrong

that's interesting

this is another quote

>To me he is one of the most intelligent and perceptive people, and our minds are very synchronous.

I love the ep where Larry accidentally grazes Jeff's mom's breast. That scene where he comes in Larry's room at like 2 am repeating "you gotta go" kills me.

Jeez he must have been embarrassed its just so awkward

Curb lacks any originality and relies wholly on awkward moments.

It isn't really that funny, in 10 years people will watch them again and think "man, this isn't funny just awkward"

i re-watched it and it's still funny as fuck, 16 years later

Haha what an awkward situation Larry got into this time!!

you seem to have a shitty sense of humor, so maybe that's why it isn't funny to you. keep watching bazinga! the series

curb is very relatable and the situations are great. you really don't know what youre talking about

The only difference between Curb and TBBT is
1. TBBT focuses more on pop culture references
2. It utilizes a laugh track

Curb is a repetition of the awkward comedy minus the laugh track and with a multi-camera instead of a single camera script which enhances the audience's feelings since it is as if they are there.

It isn't genius really. If you took Curb and reduced it to a single camera script it would be immediately exposed as a clone of any other awkward humor sitcom.

shoo shoo little boy

Seriously though, I want trump to be filtered tbqh

Bingo! Biiingo!

>that screechy Boston accent
Gave me a semi tbqh

It puts the sit in sitcom, and the new situations are original

Cheryl Hines is a God tier milf tbqh

are you kidding? She literally looks like a monkey.

that was a hilarious moment. fuckin susie is one crazy bitch.

Heh. That's a good bait you've got there kid. But, I'm not going to fall for it and I would ADVISE you to keep it yourself next time. Tell you what though, if (You) EVER insult my milfu EVER again EVER, even if you think it's some kind of joke for your little animé buddies, I will rain the unholy fire of my ire down upon you for eternity, so maybe you should consider zipping it next time, OK kid?

arrested development may be the most overrated show in the history of television

>most overrated

Americans cant into loser heroes.

well, tell that to americans

Seinfeld is a loser

>$820 million
>loser
Pick one my bitter newfriend.

I pick $820

In the show he's a loser. We're talking about the show.
All those Brits are also millionaires IRL.

Seinfeld is the only successful one in the show you fucking faggot..
