my parents also made me watch it as a little kid and I thought it was dumb/boring. Only as an adult do I now appreciate how good it is.

That Mel Gibson movie with the Mayans and shit.

American History X

everyone ended up siding with the Neo nazis and the teacher got in a lot of trouble. Good times

well if you insist

as my friend sitting next to me said, why would they lock us in the auditorium all afternoon and show us this?

my 7th grade latin teacher decided this was relevant

>saving private ryan
>wades death scene
>bunch of girls start crying and we cant finish it
why do women ruin movies bros?

The Patriot.

>based Mel

Do you know what's there, waiting, beyond that beach?

>also watched SPR
>scene where mellish loses the knife fight
>bunch of niggers in the room freak out, start jumping up and down stamping their feet
>"AYYY YOO, NO NO NO, GET CHA ASS IN THEIR MANE HELP YO FRIEND, WHAT THE FUCK !
>teacher just sits back and chuckles

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wave_(1981_film)

we used to watch this around halloween because it was during a period of the year where not much was happening and nobody gave a shit. It was a history class and the teacher said it talked about history or something so it counted
>ONE fat nerdy kid whos mom was on the PTO complained it was too scary
>we had to stop watching and watched scooby doo instead

...

>video productions class
>teacher is clearly hungover or off a coke binge or something
>lets us watch this projected on the giant pull down screen in the school theater
best class

They showed us this in our spanish class for whatever fucking reason

how

this and shawshank redemption

Army of Darkness

god tier movie

There's a girl that looks like her...they're so gorgeous and beautiful

>Nude scene
>Teacher covers TV

is this why americans are so clueless about the revolution?

>ctrl+f
>no Gattaca
>no Boys Next Door
>no Romeo & Juliet with jailbait Juliet

What inner city shitholes did you all go to?

>substitue teacher plays romeo and juliet
>forgets there is a nude scene until the last second
>tried to run and cover the screen
>trips and sprains her ankle
>still got to see some tits

I tripped her

Someone started crying during Penis Inspection Day and it was his favorite movie so they played it for him.

>that prime alexis bledel
>that early 2000s feel of movies

Is it just me or do movies filmed around then just feel cozier? Like, literally the definition it was shot it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Its not HD quality but not grainy 90s either. It just makes me sleepy

I watched romeo and juliet in english class but it was the shitty leo dicaprio version

No I get the same feeling. I think more shows now are filmed in better quality and it just seems too bright and in your face, the quality back then was softer. IDK I dont no shit about what cameras where used its just what I felt

Also OP you must have read my mind, I saw this on tv the other week and I nostalgia. watched it.
Was I the only one bothered by the ending? It bummed me out
>the only girl he ever loved is dead, and has been for years
>shes the only one he told the secret to, she moved on and lived a life with a new family
>he cant even kill himself
I remember watching it in class and having to hold back the feels

Hahaha dfid you get caught?

Try reading the book. they changed a lot for the disney movie
>winnie isnt 15, shes 10
>she doesnt have a romantic relationship with jesse until the end
>its Ma and Pa tuck that vist her grave at the end, not jesse

even natalie babbit said the dinsey movie was terrible. I always got that the whole book was a symbolism with growing up. In the end winnie grew up and moved on, lived a full life. Jesse cant and is stuck as a child like an /r9k/ incarnate (again the movie really pushes this over the original and book)

no, it was actually an accident. We're watching this movie and suddenly this fat lady is waddling across the room, trips over my bag and legs and take a whole desk with her. She was too disoriented to realize what happened

>why would they lock us in the auditorium all afternoon and show us this?

Why DID they do this? Were the teachers off having a party in the staff room or something?

The miracle of birth was the best movie I saw in school.
That cinematography is top class.

it was Senior Day, the day freshman get beat up and pranked by seniors, so my freshman class was locked in the auditorium watching that all day.

fuck white people are just damn aesthetic
look at those eyes

I had to watch this in a few science classes

But she's Mexican

>Is it just me or do movies filmed around then just feel cozier?

b-but I thought I was the only one

>He didn't watch both

Shit teacher desu

Watched the Truman Show Freshman year. It was neat

I only think of this movie as fuck everlasting

>If only raven could've foreseen this

Kek

We studied Watchmen in my grade ten English class

In retrospect, it kind of helped to make me an edgy little faggot

That one movie about bullfrogs in Australia they showed us in biology

Romeo And Juliette

IMMORTALITY! TAKE IT, ITS YOURS!

shes one of like, 3 people in there who is doing well so I dont think she's care

Threads

The part in The Patriot where a cannon blows a guy's head off. The teacher even let us rewind and watch it several times.

I want to suck her toes.

>tfw cucked by a waterfall

>tfw you cant even kill yourself out of depression to be with your GF after 100 years

Apparently sjws like to use the "I hate white people" scene out of context.

how the fuck did pete from mad men get lucky enough to land her as a wife?
Does these mean any of us stand a chance?

I-i was in third grade

watched this in government class

not even reading the thread and im sure that the 60's Romeo and Juliet has been posted.
God damn that girl was hot.

In high school i watched so many movies across so many different classes im sure that i cant list them all. I even took a fucking class that was all about watching movies. In high school.
Lord of the flies was pretty great. Had to watch that for freshman year english.

Every film Polanski made that wasnt Macbeth has all the complexity, quality, and sometimes just flat out is, porn.

They look more like twin siblings than spouses, they probably find each other irresistible out of vanity.

stand by me
>all the girls chatted and laughed during the whole movie
>all the guys were silent and appreciated the film of male bonding

...

I sure hope so

Titanic. And it was a shitty camrip

>tfw teacher leaves the lights off during the credits to let us collect ourselves
