Lets discuss the best film of 2016 so far

Couldn't finish the movie. Got bored.

it was amusing at best. Cant say it was a masterpiece. You gonna stop now?

Damn.. Thats unfortunate some of the best part happen in the 3rd act.

Whats your fav film this year?

That's not Nine Lives OP.

Swiss Army Man? Ok, lets discuss

this desu

>yfw when Leonard Cohen starts playing

I liked:

Zootopia
The Nice Guys
Hail Caesar!
Deadpool
The Green Room
Don't Breathe
Central Intelligence Fuck you it was Father's Day
Sully

Embarrassing pleb taste

Seriously just give up

>A bunch of flicks and Sully

took my niece to see this. Kevin Spacey voicing the cat had few funny moments but this movie was literally an abortion.

>Coen brothers
>flick

I'll fuck you in half

I just said I liked them

not that they were the best films of this year

>Nine Lives
>anything but catkino at its finest

I get it, you're a pleb who can't appreciate the deeper themes and subtext of such a biting, cerebral piece. The allegory for post-Reagan, post-9/11 corporatist America is spot-on.

I love you

+Evolution
+HYMYILEVÄ MIES
+ONE MORE TIME WITH FEELING

Again

It was pretty good, not the best but by no means bad.

I haven't seen Don't Breathe or Sully, and Green Room was great, but the rest of the list were all at least fun. Hell, I liked Bourne as well.

My top picks so far this year are:
The Invitation
The Lobster
The Witch
Midnight Special
Lo and Behold

Also out of all the kids' movies I saw this year, Angry Birds was the best by a wide margin, better than Finding Dory and Zootopia put together, both of which just barely ticked the meter above "meh"

every generation needs to have a shitty body swap movie with talking animals

This user gets it.

>asks for the best film of the year
>everyone posts flicks
im done with this board

>Nine lives
>Not 9/11 lives
Shit taste fm

>trying to force memes that were already stillborn a year ago
>done with this board

Don't lie, you'll never even close this tab.

>13 hours
fuck off pleb

Nine Lives is no flick. It's a radical deconstruction of America's internalized hierarchy of the way we balance our lives between work and family masquerading as a family film about a man transformed into a cat. When you watch Nine Lives you are watching our zeitgeist be dissected in a manner that is accessible to all ages.

Beautiful.

Could you describe Shaggy Dog?

seems like it's just a glib facsimile of kafka's metamorphosis, ie. not an original film, ie. a flick at best

Sad to say I've never seen it.

Absolutely appawlling. You should get on that.

underrated post.

Cosmos isn't a good movie by any means

i know its gr8
