But I think I should and I want to go with the new ones.Which one is better?

Don't Breathe is not a horror
The Witch is not a classic horror
It follows is shit
Babadook is ok

You should watch Alien, Psycho or the Thing.

>Don't Breathe
>youre blind and some cunts invade your home
>not a horror
...maybe a little?

Does Italians have a thing for horror genre?

Fuck all these recommendations and go see "Grave Encounters", the movie in your original pic.
Then see the sequel. You'll have a blast. Trust me.

Those are good films, but pretty light on scares. If I never saw a horror film before, I'd wanna go with something that'd actually scare me.

>The Grudge
>The Exorcist
>Martyrs
>Pet Cemetery (fuck you, it scared the fuck outta me)

But... the blind guy is the villain?

how the fuck do you not watch a horror film in your life?

this

thought it was gonna be shit but was good

>acts like the authority on horror
>recommends The Babadook

Long story, but I spent a good chunk of my childhood being raped by my mother's husband. He was a Jew, so any tv or movies I actually watched I had to do so through a hole in a sheet

Never watched a horror film more than 10 minutes. Not because I was afraid, it's just the movie didn't catch my interest and I find jumpscares funny. But some of the long horror stories did scare the shit out of me.

>it's a normie will pretend like the OP episode

Alien
The Thing
Kuroneko
The Exorcist
Opera
Videodrome
Psycho
The Shining
The Fly
The Devil's Backbone

>had to do so through a hole in the sheet
Wut

Alien and Psycho are meme flicks now.

Why? Or more importantly; what does that even mean?

Psycho holds up extremely well, I suppose Alien might be boring to children.

Italians have the best horror m8
Look into Bava, Fulci, and Argento and explore more from there

Pet Cementery is okay but the Grudge, seriously?!

>longmouth ghostface.jpg

Yeah, spooky.

So are most kubrick movies, doesn't mean they're not good

Yeah, The Grudge scared me more than any film. And I've seen every horror worth watching.

Watch The Ring and The Grudge.

that literally, literally means nothing at all.

Martyrs if you want to be miserable as shit. it's very well acted.

I'm not sure you should watch Martyrs if you've never seen a horror movie in your life. It might be a little bit too much. Although it is a pretty great movie.

good point. put it on the back burner op.
also

The Woman in Black, i read the book but haven't seen the movie although i heard it's good. i can only speak about the book but it's not horror so much as a spooky, isolated ghost thriller if that takes your fancy. it's also quite sad.

first post worst post I've seen all year. You're aa fucking moron

The Woman in Black would definitely be a pretty great start if you're gonna go with something recent.

Fuck now I want to see it with one of my '''''lady'''''' friends.

It's very well acted. Watch it by all means but it really is heavy. It's not a regular scary movie night watch, you know?
