So I just got done watching the episode on The Wire where DeAngelo teaches the younger kids chess and I was AMAZED! When he's telling them about the different pieces, he was implying that THEY were the pawns!
I had to go back and watch it a couple more times to make sure, but my God, what an amazing metaphor! I'm only on season 1 guys, but I think this has to be the best show ever made! What incredible storytelling. Are there more subtlely brilliant metaphors in future seasons? It was so deep and meaningful when I picked up on this. What a great show!
Also the acting is phenomenal. Idris Elba and Dominic West do a great job with their Baltimore accents.
Did it blow your mind when Bodie shot diagonally, like a chess pawn?
Nice false flagging, Cred Forums.
Yes, people play chess. You'd have to be a sperg to have a problem with this.

Obviously, I played against this girl just because she's hot and I wanted to bang her. Finished like a boss in literally less than 10 moves and she didn't even know I had her cornered.
>Two opposing characters are playing chess
>Later on they lead armies against each other as if they were playing chess
Every time
Stop watching shitty movies and posting about them here asshole.
>I myself prefer a much superior Go, an ancient intellectual game hailing from the land of Nihon. It is said that the number of possible Go games exceeds the number of atoms in our Universe. Really makes you contemplate, eh?
Enough with dumb looking pepes.
