Bit of a shame that the producers tried to bury this movie. Originally the head of 20th Century Fox was all for it, giving Alex Winter and co a good deal of money to work with and planned on giving it a wide release. Then management changed, and the film was recut and dumped into a tiny amount of theaters before going straight-to-video. Still, it's a pretty decent movie.
