Argentina

>Argentina
>"Quieto cabron!"

Don't they know that is a Mexican expression and is NOT used in the south, specially Argentina? Is like they don't even bother to do some research, very unprofessional.

More examples of this stuff are welcome.

its a fucking super hero movie, who cares?

aren't all south american countries identical?

Would this be like a british movie having an American call someone a wanker?

Maybe he was from Mexico.

...

Perhaps, or any expression that is used in UK but not America, like "bloody".

As someone who can tell the difference, I find it annoying.

Sure whatever but not the point.

Did the guy have an Argentine accent? Or was it a mexican guy?
I assume that is easily determined from native speakers?

quieto cabrĂ³n is used all over from Spain to Chile

He had a mexican accent.

But why make a scene in Argentina and the only guy who speaks spanish is Mexican? Sure we can just assume he was, but it feels like they were too lazy to get it right.

Obviously an american would not care because for them we are all mexicans, but foreigners detect this things.

It is used in Spain and Mexico, not so sure about Chile, they use the word "webon", but if you say so.

Definitely not in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and some other countries in the south, I would know as I'm a native.

If they had gotten it right, the guy would have said something like:

"quieto idiota!"
"quieto imbecil!"
"quieto hijo de puta!"

There are other expressions like "pelotudo" but it would be less generic.

Everyone south of the US is Mexican. Get over it.

Argie here, its used.
Not usually and mostly by old people...and considering this movie takes place in the 60s...
Que cabron...its the one that people use, it means what a faggot/fucker.

HHHHHNNGGG
Fuck yeah, muh dick

>the dog lover
lewd

Aren't these guys playing Germans hiding in South America? I could get over the bad use of Spanish. Argentinians aren't people

None gives enough of a fuck about Argentina to do some research into the dialect, and as you say "Mexican" Spanish is more accessible.

There's your answer.

>More examples of this stuff
this whole thing

but seriously, who cares if a vietnamese talks ith a thai accent in some random hollywood shit?

We dont say webon, we say weon, its completely different.

And that scene looked nothing like Argentina, the white supremacists, were actually white.

>Villa Gesel is near the mountains

My sides.

The scene is in Argentina because of the German emigration to Argentina pos WW2 was a perfect set up for the hunting scenes.

"Buenas noches mein Fuhrer"

Shit scene overall, like 'hurrrr duuurrr muh nazis in south amurrica!'

At least the scene wasn't in Chile, those monkey indians don't even speak spanish.

I'm Argie and objectively a better person than you in every single way
