What went right?

What went right?

not much desu

Honestly the only scene at laughed at was "Have you seen this man?"
That said, the movie was worth watching for that scene alone

Most of it desu

it appealed to teens that haven't seen Blade

>smaller scale
>doesn't set up an "expanded universe"
>just a dumb fun superhero movie
>perfect casting
>pokes fun at capeshit in general

Most of it went right

Made the most out of X-men assets and laughed about it.

T.J. Miller and Morena Baccarin. Also, Francis. The cast was great. And the metajoke about comic book geeks being degenerate edgelords that have a ton of weird sex was pretty hilariously on the nose, and welcome break in the Foxverse from Singer's pretentious faggotry and Wolverine Origins' non-speaking "Deadpool".

and two guys a girl and a pizza place, or are too young to remember Reynolds starring in anything remotely funny

TJ Miller was great, laughed at each scene.

>I'd come with you, but I don't want to

Ultimate Normie tier movie. Completely ruined deadpool for me. DP was the only comic book character I ever felt compelled to read about and I got into the comics heavy back in 2010.

They ignored literally everything from the actual comics in favor of shit that would draw the biggest crowd (Big shock I guess), It completely killed the magic that made me love the batshit LITERALLY insane deadpool by turning him into some LOL SO RAN-DUMB HE BROKE THE 4th WALL XDDDD bullshit.

I don't tell people I like DP anymore when comics or films get brought up, but I can't bring myself to get rid of my old shirt I bought at FYE back around the same time I got into the comics. I just refuse to wear it in public now. I don't want to be associated with some hack "Perfectly cast" low brow shit actor who ruined my only comic book character.

Guess it was still a good action flick though. 6/10.

It makes Cred Forums rage out of their minds when someone mentions it.

Triggering contrarians so much is always a plus.

Well, first of all, they didnt spend $250m on making the movie and another $250m on marketing the movie. Really makes you think.

>Morena Baccarin
Yes

well, she make everything better

I liked TJ Miller but the only scene that was a stretch was when he was talking about how ugly Wade was.

It wasn't Miller's fault but it got kind of stale, they should have just kept the topographical map of Utah joke and dumped the rest of that bit.

Nothing. This movie is literal trash

I disagree.

They should've kept the avocado fucking joke and dumped the rest.

>LOL SO RAN-DUMB HE BROKE THE 4th WALL XDDDD bullshit.
Have you ever read a Deadpool comic?

Cred Forums doesn't want to admit that it turned out to be a better movie than BvS.

The cute lesbian side kick.

It was made by and for r e d d i t

Man I can just feel the intense butthurt in this post...

It didn't try to go over the top. It kept it simple. It had a B list X-Men character and most of the movie took place on an overpass/junkyard. The origin story humanized Deadpool but it was kept extremely short. Ryan Reynolds was good, and usually I can't stand him. Basically everything went right.

ugh, excuse me, I am Cred Forums and I find Deadpool to be pure kino whereas BvS is below even a flick

>It became popular so now I hate it

Time to latch on to the next obscure thing user. Hopefully not very many people like it too.

Pornstars loved Deadpool movie.

It appeals to the teenagers who haven't figured out that being contrarian and edgy is actually the normal thing to do in 2016.

everything

one of those kinds of things that they won't be able to do again though

Was she in the movie ?
