But some anime movies are legitimately good
Garden of words was lovely
In fact, most Makoto Shinkai films have been excellent
This is pretty great, although long.
It's about a qt who lives in an isolated village high in the hills with her grandfather, and the community and this fucked up city neet who comes to live there (not a love story though). There's also a colony of white environmentalists in conflict with the local chad who is trying to build a tunnel.
10/10 scenery porn while also not pulling ghibli style romanticizing country life bullshit
Koreeda is GOAT
He's basically contemporary Ozu
do you have a foot fetish
No I have an older woman fetish
Lost in Translation is GOAT.
I went to WOMB (the club in the japanese part) earlier this summer.
Best club I've ever been to. Highly recommend it.
In my top 5 of all time
Murray was great in it
Anyone seen this? Looks comfy.
any film where beat takeshi says nothing and winks a lot is pretty good
no, kore-eda is a better visual storyteller and not a kitchen sink fag with lots of faces like Ozu
still love Ozu though, just saying
The Hovering Blade (2009)
The Boy Made In Japan (1995)
Aoi Haru (2001)
Mahoro Eki Mae Bengaichi (2011
