The single best way to watch TV and movies

I don't know why people pay for Netflix when Kodi exists.

If you were going to make a thread about it you might as well cared to explain what the fuck is this shit faggot

>not knowing what Kodi is

oh you poor thing

Because they don't know about it

I was thinking about trying this shit but I'm content with Plex for now

ok I'm installing it. What do now?

watch your gay porn

>watching shitty low quality streams
>having to use software to do it

Whats it like being a normie?
PTP + Plex

>low quality

oh boy the autism train has arrived

Install exodus add-on
Lose your mind

shit quality

a million different builds and they all suck

linux-level having to find builds and installing shit only for them to suck

shit quality

i use netflix for instant access to exclusive sandler kino

>watching low definition grainy movies

Its maybe acceptable if you are on a laptop. When you push it to your TV its unwatchable.

Buy a VPN so you dont get v&

MOOOOOOOODDSSSS

Stop teaching the normies how to use this.

kodi is normie central

I know people who are 50% using that shit

What advantages are there to using Kodi compared to Plex? Wouldn't streaming over the internet be shittier quality than streaming from your own HDD?

Kodi's internal player is pretty bad, so I changed it so that it opens Potplayer.

The main reason I use Kodi is because you can filter your film library by directors. I couldn't find anything outside of Plex or Kodi that allows you to do this. It's insane how SHIT the PC film media library managers are..

and the next best thing was when I realized I could synchronize my film library on my hard drives to Trakt so now I can browse my library in Trakt and check what films I have from x directors, it's fantastic.

Kodi with Amazon Fire Stick is the pinnacle of watching movies on the Internet, also free porn and free PPV

>kodi
>kino

Is it any surprise that the words are so similar?

I have nowhere near enough movies or HDD space to just hold onto all of it and use plex or whatever

I torrent something I want and I watch it, usually delete it right after

I can't understand the point of hoarding this huge library for pretty cover icons and sorting, you hardly rewatch them enough to warrant this

I usually storage rare releases and great films.

OP you are a faggot

Kodi is shit. It's internal player is functional but there are better alternatives, it's add ons are garbage (exodus is literally just a stream aggregator that gives you the same garbage links that googling "watch _____ free" would give you, and if you accept the garbage quality stress you're no better than yify faggots), literally give me one reason to use it

Get a job and pay for cable.

how many? Wouldn't you rather just open the file with MKV or whatever instead of use an itunes for movies?

it seems like you's have to go out of your way and waste time to use this thing

but I'd like to be proved wrong

Probably the only good media library browser together with Plex.

But most people won't need it if they don't save films for extended period of time I suppose.

>literally give me one reason to use it

literally go away you loser.

>How many.
Well currently some 20tbs.

>Wouldn't you rather just open the file with MKV
'open the file with MKV' I assume you mean 'open the file with a media player' and I do that.

I just browse my library with Kodi because frankly, together with Plex, they're the only media library browsers that allow filtering by directors.

When I double click poster/press play in Kodi it opens up Potplayer and I watch it.

I also use it to sync my library (what I have in hard drives) to my Trakt account which was fantastic feature.

>pay for cable
No way, grandpa

>not using private trackers

plebs all of you

Do those "watch ____ free" movies have 1080p streams or even 4k? Or can your shitty Internet not handle that?

pay no attention to that dumb nigger, user

I use them but I still use Kodi to browse my library since it is only one that allows filtering by directors.

>"In english, Doc!"

>private trackers
Good to see the old guard are here. It didn't quite feel like 2004 until you showed up you ancient cunt.

We are still here

Yeah Kodi is nice. My favourite way of organizing my movie library. Picture related (ignore the krautish)
