The epithome of boredom. Now,

>people decided that OP webm is somehow good and at the same time called BVS bad
Blows my mind.

Epithome isn't a word you dumb niggers.

millions of people shop at walmart and eat at McDonalds

Majority rule is often wrong, and this is another one of those cases.

*epythonme

Does the music at least redeem it?

>butthurt DCucks who can't appreciate good filmmaking

No, this was.

He needed an A.I. to tell him to grab his shield with his superpowered robot suit?

Maybe he needed build a Capbuster suit... just in case of... Civil WAR!

It's brainwashing pure and simple. Disney don't even need to make an actual movie. Just market the hell out of the promise of the "cool new thing" and then release 2 hours of unedited footage of RDJ sitting in a chair and they'll still leave the cinema telling everybody how great it was, and yet a 2001 level masterpiece could be released under the DC banner and everybody would reflexively fling shit at it regardless.

this cgi looks worse somehow

Wouldn't surprise me if Disney tampered with footage to downgrade it and then got their shills to post it to smear BvS even more.

>Superman's head hit the wall offscreen

hahahahaha
didn't know Zack was that amateurish

>gets shot directly to the back of the head
>the impact alone doesn't render him unconscious

what did Snyder mean by this?

just turn your brain off bro

Except they don't claim Walmart or McDonalds is good, they use them because they are cheap.

BvS on the oher hand is a movie making efforts to be artsy, "unique", "symbolical" while trying to be a typical capeshit movie. BvS is not a "bad" movie but it has many issues with pacing and editing mostly (Itstill has many other issues, but those 2 are the ones that killed the movie). Civil War on the other hand has a simple straightforward purpose, to deliver a story, and it does, with a nice pacing, good editing ad dialogue, CW still has dozens of issues (Bad acting, Horrible cheap CGI, some asspulls, etc....). CW in my opinion is a mediocre superhero movie (But mediocre doesn't mean bad, a bronze medal is mediocre but still far from being bad)

We have to have the fun simple movies like CW and BvS in order to the kino movies.

>Except they don't claim Walmart or McDonalds is good, they use them because they are cheap.
People actually do think that the MCU is good though. I want to slaughter every one of them.

Well, it is good, only Thor movies are genuinely bad. Other ones might be cliche or simplistic or repetitive, but you can't say they are "bad"

So somehow a human can punch an advanced robot and actually hurt it.

>Well, it is good
You literally deserve to die in my eyes, and I'm not saying that in some empty, "meme" way of speaking. I genuinely want to see you lying there on the ground bleeding to death.

What is your favorite movie then?

Holy fuck, that terrible stage combat.

Inland Empire

I don't really "Like" films though. Not since I was a teenager. To me a work of cinema is more like a litmus test to seperate those who deserve to die from those who can be allowed to live. They're practical tools. Not things to project emotions onto.

I love the works of Kubrick, Scorcese, Malick (the fountain is an amazing film), Lynch, Welles, Snyder, etc. True artistes that create meaningful movies full of wisdom and make you really think.

>The fountain
>Snyder

I can't tell if you are trolling or not.

>Civil Airport
Seriously nothing interesting happens until the airport scene. The final fight between Stark/Cap/Bucky was legit awesome though.

The airport scene is genuinely the worst thing I've ever seen in a high budget movie.

Shit tier weightless CGI and LE LE LE ORANGE SLICES MEME MEME all with the laziest cinematography possible.

>using the word cinematography unironically

kys virgin

>cinematography
>in capeshit
uhhh

>first person view with adobe after effects

whoah

its just like my MLG COD videos

DON'T
SETTLE
FOR
SHIT

BvS had some bad writing but it was a visual masterpiece compared to anything Marvel have made. They put out the laziest product possible because they know that they're retard viewers will praise it regardless.

orange slices?

havent seen the movie

>Why is it that no one but Jackie Chan can film fight scenes

The constant switching from frame to frame is killing me in films with fight sequences

watch the raid then cuck

Paul Rudd (who is in the scene for literally no reason justified in universe" turns directly at the camera mid action scene, screws up his face like a chinaman and then says "ANYBODY GOT ANY ORANGE SLICES" and then pauses for laugher and then all of the normies sitting around you start to laugh and clap like seals and then you reach for your knife and jam it into the throat of whoever is sitting next to you. It is the lowest moment of modern cinema.

Marvel movies are entertaining and fun, they're not high art, they're an adaptation of comic books for christs sake.

DC movies are grimdark, bloated, terribly written pieces of shit (at least under Snyder), with the worst possible casting for the majority of their characters and shit cgi in literally every scene.

Iron Man
>Tony takes a tankshell into his chest while flying
>nothing happens
Iron Man 3
>Suit is hit by truck
>almost completely destroyed
Civil War
>supposed more advanced suit can't even protect from punches from a human
lol marvel movies are so shit

AHHH HELP, BUCKY, HE ANALYZED MY FIGHT PATTERN!!!

>Muh verisimilitude

Total fucking faggots. Keep being stuck in the concrete operational phase of cognitive development.

>Marvel movies are entertaining and fun,
If you're a complete retard maybe. The time I've spend being subjected to MCU films are genuinely some of the most decidedly "unfun" hours of my entire life. I know you reddit nature is deep seeded in your mind, but what is "entertaining" and "fun" to you, a reddit sensibility viewer, is the most soul crushingly depressing and tedious media imaginable to a real man like me who still keeps traditional masculinity alive and hunts his own food.

I am a pretty happy person when left to my own devices but I am borderline suicidal after having the "reddit sandwich" that is a MCU film forced down my throat.

>Tony takes a tankshell into his chest while flying
It wasn't a tank shell, there was some sort of anti-aircraft gun mounted on the tank.

>Suit is hit by truck
>almost completely destroyed
It's a prehensile suit. Which they hammer on in the movie is a faulty prototype that is also weaker because it is made of multiple parts.

>supposed more advanced suit can't even protect from punches from a human
Captain America is not an average human. Plus he's clearly not getting hurt, just too disoriented to use his weapons.

>BvS had some bad writing but it was a visual masterpiece
I agree, but if you compare every aspect of each movie (Story, characters, dialogue, pacing, editing, photography, music, etc.....) CW is still ahead of BvS, so visuals don't make it for the rest of the movie.

youtu.be/79ditPebZ8g

You're not a fan of the 3 cuts per 2 seconds style of film making?

I bet you didn't even like transformers.

>Look at this DCuck over here

MARTHAAA

You can either be good a choreography/fighting, be very good looking or act.

Jackie Chan had one of those, Hollywood almost always goes for good looking in capshit so there you go.

What are you talking about? Russos and Snyder use the same 20 cuts/10 seconds, difference is Russos use shakky cam and Snyder use "artsy" perspectives, but they do the same shitty cuts.

>I agree, but if you compare every aspect of each movie (Story, characters, dialogue, pacing, editing, photography, music, etc.....)
I don't agree with all those points, but even if we just assumed you were correct about them all, it hardly gives Marvel a free pass for shooting their movies as lazily as possible. They're making the most successful movies at box office today and it pisses me off to no end that they have the production values of fucking television since all of the money goes into getting the increasingly bored looking celebrities to show up again year after year. Green screened into their fucking suits. That's what marvel is. The bare minumum of what is considered "competent" to undiscerning audiences delivered in the most lazy manner possible. BvS is less functional as a crowd pleasing movie but still less soulless than any marvel shit. You feel the clash between focus grouped bullshit chasing the marvel dollar but also some (probably misguided) artistic vision. It's a failure of a film but not without interest in the way that Marvel annual tentpole release #2 is.

Nigger your eyes don't work. Just watch the webms posted in the thread and if you can't see there are significantly less cuts in bvs you're a retard or wearing marvel goggles.

>analyzing his fighting pattern

This was the part of the movie that pissed me off the most. It completely undermines Cap's skills as a martial artist.

jesus christ superhero movies suck so fucking much, they're literally made for 10 year olds and manchildren

>i dont have an actual argument, i'll just say he frequents reddit and use a malaprop of deep seated that i hope he doesn't call me out on

A skilled martial artist has a fight pattern. That's why some fighters are better at boxing, grapple/holds or jew-jitsu than others, and why some boxers use they feet movement, other ues jab and power punches, an other use counters.

Analyzing the fight pattern is something a competetnt fighter should do before a fight.

More like Scatman Versus Pooperman: Dawn of Flushed-Us, AM I RIGHT???

>marvelcucks are this desperate

This movie was so sanitized to have a climax that is people with lethal force fighting. This formula is fucking boring. You just know watching it everything is going to be back in the same place at the end aside from killing off some side character in one movie. You knew the detainees in water jail were going to be freed, black Iron Man would be ok when they hinted at paralysis, and no one was being killed off. It felt like 2 1/2 hours of story filler with a few decent bits of CGI action. That fucking Spider kid sucks, too.

Okay but the point is that Iron-Man shouldn't be allowed to just automatically counter Cap's martial arts like that. That's one of the reasons why martial artists are so competent in the comics, because that skill is unique to them.

>You just know watching it everything is going to be back in the same place at the end aside from killing off some side character in one movie.

This was my biggest issue with marvel movies for a while was that they aren't reliant on each other plot wise and there aren't lasting impacts. I was hoping civil war would change this. It didn't.

This desu, all the Marvel flix just seem like they were made on a conveyor belt to be as homogenous as possible. There's maybe 2 or 3 of them that actually feel unique, the rest are just the same films relying on big action setpieces to try and distract people from the rest of the movie.

Whether the DC movies are shittier or not they at least feel like they're made by people. At least until Suicide Skwa had to ruin that too.
