B2 is Tokyo Drifter

Cool chart.
Might like One Man of the Gambler's Code and Harikomi (Stakeout). Also Vengeance is Mine and and Castle of Sand if you haven't seen them yet.
Spanish 1930's Dracula, Cabiria and a Page of Madness. You might also like Vengeance is Mine.
Anything by Robert Bresson, including the books. Traveling Players and

Not sure how much use I'll be here. Wake in Fright because of Kotcheff. Dacci, Wages of Fear, Gallipoli.
Was that the episode Scully's actress directed?

Have you seen a tale of the wind?
what do you think of shadows of forgotten ancestors?

Nice

threads like these would be a lot better if people just added titles to their pics. the only films i'm interested in are the ones i don't know and don't the title to.

You can always ask them and Mosaic maker don't allow filenames in the mosaics and really, most of these are easily recognizable

...

I haven't explored Ivens or Franken as much as I should have. Thanks for mentioning them though.

I liked Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors a lot, but I liked the visual style in Pomegranates more. The depth of color especially.

...

I need to see brick
What else have you seen from Marker?
I understand why you liked pomegranate more, but it did almost nothing to me on a sentimental level, with shadows it was another experience

A tale of the wind is great
Do you like weeeasethakul?

Also the phantom carriage is GOAT
Have you seen anything from lopushanksy?

I actually have only seen La Jetée, any other recs of his?

That's fine, I know a lot of people didn't have a connection to Pomegranates.

I've heard a lot about Tropical Malady, but I haven't gotten into him yet.

What did you think about the Act of Killing? I only ask cause I know one of the directors.
I want to, I've tried looking for a few of his but didn't find them. I have a think about avoiding those types of movie sites because I don't want to catch anything. My computer illiteracy holds me back a lot.

I found some of Dead Man's Letters. I mostly want to see Russian Symphony though because I enjoy music related movies.

Have you seen L'illusioniste ? It's by the same team than Les triplettes de Belleville and based on a tati screenplay.

I haven't but I will, thanks

My nine favorite films.

I don't recognize 90% of these movies. can somebody pls make a guide?

Mad Max more like Max Pleb

op here, i can start with mine

>Twin peaks fire walk with me
>Merry christmas Mr. Lawrence
>Carnival of souls
>Vengeance is Mine
>Tokyo Drifter
>The face of another
>Jin roh: the wolf brigade
>Tokyo Fist
>Harakiri

>people still posting cancerous squared charts

The Road Warrior is a materpiece of (mostly) visual storytelling and world creation IMHO. If that opinion makes me a pleb, so be it.

having the empire strikes back up with 2001 makes you one and i love empire

thank you, op
