How did they manage to get a bad performance out of Michael Ironside?

He's been in a lot of crappy, low budget movies and this is literally the only time I've seen him NOT commit 100% to the role.

I mean just a few months before Turbo Kid he played a shotgun-toting conspiracy theorist pot farmer who fights aliens in "Extraterrestrial" and he certainly brought the full Michael Ironside experience to that role.

70's nostalgia beats 80's shit any day.

I though he did a terrific job as Zeus, felt he struck the perfect balance between haming it up and being an actual threat

I legit enjoyed Turbo Kid, but was upset about how it ended

Since LeBouef's still in the cast, I bet they make it worse by introducing another identical robot and Kid treating her like the same person
