Was that first early arrow shot some wort of strategical mistake? Why were they so angry about it?
What was point of waiting so long before battle? Did they hope rain will stop?

>strategical
It's tactical, not strategical.
nobody was angry at him
if anything, it hinted that they weren'y a cohesive fighting force
No it didnt, All it hinted at was do not put old men on the archery line they cant hold a nocked arrow that long.
>arming old men and children
>good idea
No like they had much choice
irl no one could hold a drawn bow for very long. It takes a ton of strength.
Get a load of this weak pussy
then why did they all stand there waiting to fire with their bows drawn?
Because its a movie?
why didn't they just nock and shoot when they wanted to shoot, instead of nock, hold, and then wait to shoot? it's not like they took that long to nock anyway
ur mom held my nocked arrow all nite long
this is correct
>Jackson butchers the source material by sending a Deus Ex Elven army to arrive at Helms Deep
Was this the moment Hackson dropped the ball?
Yeah. Should have told that to Hitler.
I'm more pissed at what he did in battle of the 5 armies
>Dwarves set up shield wall
>Orc's charge
>Oh, shit they are going to break against a mountain of dwarves!
>Faggy elves out of no where
why does Hackson hate dwarves so much?
that was a great scene though, when the elves marched to helm's deep. at least in lotr, when they made changes, it had a cinematic quality to it. in hobbit, they made changes just to please the studios.
the old man was the only one there with brains
the uruks were clearly in the range of even his short bow and the archers could've gotten in two more volleys before the orcs started closing in with their crossbows
YOU DON'T HOLD A BOW DRAWN FOR ANY LONG PERIOD OF TIME youtube.com
unless it's a compound bow, of course
This.
Aragon fakeout had LOST television quality to it.
that subplot was shite but when he returned back to helm's deep and opened the doors, that was nice.
