You probably haven't seen it recently. Sinbad in that movie is literally one of the most irritating characters I've ever seen and not in a way where you can say "Well, that's how his character is supposed to be", he makes me want to put the movie on mute whenever he opens his mouth.

nah, total recall is still b-action-movie schlock, just with some surprisingly good writing, in the end its Arnold that makes it stand out.

With a higher budget and more serious ambition you might be right but all those one-liners and comedic relief scenes and characters make it an Arnold original.
