Tale of two sisters
Mother is excellent. As is I Saw The Devil. Both are more psychological horrors than straight up genre stuff.
I hear good things about Thirst and Stoker, too.
I'm a Cyborg But That's OK
Castaway on the Moon
Train to Busan
The Wailing.
>nearly 2017
>the host sequel still not out yet

>mfw watch with a sub (of course) and the fucker didn't translate the text in the beginning from the bible

Blu-ray rips out?
Crouching tiger, hidden dragon
That's not Korean.

Same thing dumbass.
don't think it was bluray, HDrip

Yes.
The Strangers
Yes, it came out yesterday (officially out today) on private trackers. Finished watching it this morning. Excellent.

Spot the retard. Why people ruin movies with gorgeous cinematography by watching them this way beats me. People like you make me genuinely angry. You don't belong here.

You have to be over 18 to use this board.
The acting is really solid, and it looks a cut above most Korean films.
There's a few good spooks and it doesn't fuck around with the subject matter, it's a lot like The Witch.
>it's a lot like The Witch
Don't say that or people are not gonna watch the movie. Unlike The Witch, The Wailing is actually good.
Do koreans make any movies besides horror and violent thriller types?
Problem Child 2
Dramas. Koreans love dramas. Not sure if they make any scifi.
Yes, plenty. Watch some Kim Ki-duk or Hong Sang-Soo movies.
