Basing an entire show around kids is generally a bad idea because the vast majority are terrible actors. This is no exception

I liked it. The story was interesting and most of the characters were solid. I also enjoyed having the kids act as the narrators. It kept the show from being too grimdark.

And if winona was trying to be assaultingly annoying to all senses then she did a great job.
