Because those films have decent editing , enough character development and had good reception as they are, while WB's capeshit theatrical versions are poorly cut messes that leave a main character or two underdeveloped , also they had mixed reception so they damage control with these R-rated cuts that were the actual movies all along but they wanted PG-13 dollars so they butchered them
