He marries a "strong womyn" who controls him, but when his brother trips her sending her crashing into a glass table, her predatory attitude backfires as her beta boyfriend weakly objects because he's a spineless coward and he probably doesn't like her very much anyway but feels he can't do any better.

Even just tripping her probably would've been funny, and her just falling through a table would've been funny, but he ALSO bashes her in the face with his wine glass while she's on the way down and heading for a table.
