While trying not to project my own personal issues onto the film I understood that it was about the itching feeling of never being yourself and the inability to deal with yourself. Kind of a dissonance of what you feel are you, what you are and what other see you as.

Of course the two characters represent a duality of sort, their confrontation being a look in a mirror due to the actress not talking. The nurse lady starts losing her mind after being put in front of her self and trying to resolve her own issues, escalating during the whole movie until a breaking point like she was in an echo chamber.

I'm not smart but I got this much. I watched it a year ago or so so I don't remember all the details.
