it's the little details that make it good.

you would never know this guy's name and get the reference until you saw the credits.

except Roland is specifically supposed to be white, and being black conflicts with a race subplot with another character. it's literally diversity casting. Roland is also clearly a Clint Eastwood cowboy riff. they didnt even try to make that work, they just said 'lets make him black" and then cast Elba to make it 'legitimate" because "people like him"

if this is any bit as cheesy and fun as the Tv show, i'll be pleased.
