>diversity is a good thing in Episode 7
Wtf I hate Mike now
>diversity is a good thing in Episode 7
Wtf I hate Mike now
he said he thought it was unecessary
If you don't worship the BBC please fuck back to
Why are white men threatened by diversity?
Mike is the ultimate contrarian, he was a known violent racist until the alt-right made it mainstream, now he is a BBC cuckold fetishist.
Is it true that Mike is giving all of the Paetreon money to the Clinton campaign?
Nobody can ultimately resist the power of the BBC. It claims everyone eventually.
>It's unnecessary
I didn't understand this argument. Did he mean he'd prefer a more-white cast? If it wasn't distracting or have any effect on the film at all then why does it matter?
This always happens in entertainment, the supposed serial killer / hardened criminal won't flinch at men being slaughtered, but as soon as somebody says something 'racist' or 'sexist' or 'homophobic' they turn full progressive and make sure everybody finds about it.
I cannot understand how can this diversity and progressive crap be the priority in anybody's mind.
>nigger looking like an ape
>not distracting
Maybe it's because I live in a 99.9% white country
t. slav
Because it's anti-white
>Slav
How can you live in a white country if no one else including you is white?
anything that makes it more like star trek, he likes
this shouldnt be a surprise
still a shill tho
I actually found poop dameron more distracting than nigger man, but none of them really worked, rey included
Please, BBC porn is pro white to the same degree as white exclusive porn. Both of them only show one white person being pleasured regardless.
Why? Because he's acting gay?
>slav calling other people ape-like
he said the diversity was fine, but it was weird to focus on it and market it so heavily when your average person probably didn't give a shit about race and only cared that it was star wars
Slavs are not white!
It's the same logic that led to casting more kids in the prequels because kids wanna see kids onscreen. Except they don't.
>"Imaginations work differently than that."
>mike "put a lid on every yid" stoklasa complaining about diversity
wew
I don't remember it being a huge marketing theme. Of course the trailers and toys are going to show the cast members.
If they're talking about things like paid-for articles and comic-con panels, normies don't even know they exist. They might see one on their Facebook timeline and just roll on by. The only people who really care are people who already made up their mind.
Actually it's mike "the big black cock of my wife's son" stokolsa now
Not really. How many white kids want to imagine themselves as Dindu TR-8R?
They don't imagine themselves as him. But they love to imagine him kissing and holding hands with the girl the like and that puts asses in seats. It's like you don't get white kids at all.
That's more down to Finn being a comic relief character than being black.
I never saw white kids have a problem with Lando. Mace Windu even had fans despite being a shallow and boring characters just because people like Sam Jackson.
>I don't remember it being a huge marketing theme
>first trailer comes out
>first thing you see is a nigger stormtrooper
>cuck posters
They said diversity was good, just that they felt the specific parts were specifically that gender / race solely because a marketing team decided and not because JJ decided "Yes, I really really really want Poe to be played by this actor I have in mind".
For instance if someone better read for Poe but wasn't latin american male, they'd be nixed.
Which is a fair point to make, and you could make the very same argument for the original trilogy. You think if some awesome asian actor read for Han they would have cast him? Hells to the no. And why? Because in 1977 a white cast was the most profitable. And in 2016 a cast exactly like this is profitable. This also applies to Rey, by the way, you was never going to be anything other than white because that would be a disaster. True diversity would be picking the best actors and actresses for the role, not just picking a checklist.
There are many examples of actors and actresses who didn't fit the gender or race of the characters they were reading for, but were so good that the character was rewritten. Did you hear a story like this coming out of episode 7 or rogue one, despite the fact that the casts are incredibly diverse and statistically at least one example of that should happen? No? Why do you think that is?
I think it's pretty evident that disney payed them enough shilly bills.
Honestly, he sucked the dick of TDA in half in the bag, that's when RLM credibility died.
>First thing you see is the main character
???
Jay, just like Mike and Rich and AIDSMoby, is a failure. He simply failed. I'm not passing judgment, I'm just objectively telling you that what you're witnessing is a group of sad, burnt-out middle-aged men finally settling.
They wanted to be filmmakers. They wanted to craft cult classics, to see their visions realized on actual celluloid.
What stings the most, I'd wager, is being so close to the film world without actually taking part in it. Their only consolation is making glib, snarky Gen-X remarks about real artists while begging for Patreon money to keep them furnished with Ramen and Kool-Aid.
This is what happens to dreams deferred guys. They either like raisins in the sun and wind up washing up on YouTube.
It's sad. A sperg like Jay could have
brought home 90-100k as an engineer. Instead he's living out his middle age years alone with nothing but his buddies to drown his sorrows with.
Truly a cautionary tale for would-be "auteurs".
His entire point was that the movie had noticable forced diversity to shove it in your face as its overly PC. All the while they didnt really do anything to push the envelope as fucking Star Trek in the 1960s had interracial romance.
His entire point was that the diversity in the movie was pandering in order to sell tickets/not be accused of racism. The movie is manipulative as fuck to the general urban smug shitters who think they are smart but not smart enough to know when a movie is pandering and manipulating them without actually having any substance behind it.
TFA is like the movie equivalent of doing MDMA it puts you in a good mood, sense of well being gives energy and confidence but then once it passes you go back to being your same old boring self.
Point being this movie is structured calculated and presented in a modern fashion while not doing anything new. It is perhaps the most shallow movie ive ever had the displeasure of experiencing because it relies entirely on people having a favourable memory of watching a new hope. It was no standalone value beyond presenting some vaguely newish villains.
Still Daisy needed to get BLACKED.
You're right because Jesse Plemons was also up for the role of Finn.
Thanks for the heads up Razorfirst
