Ned notes the lack of any afterlife or religious vindication as his worst fears have been realized. The episode concludes with Ned slouched in his sofa in front of the T.V. Rodd and Todd question why they haven't gone to church as it's a Sunday. Ned half-mindedly tells them to go away, his eyes not moving an inch from the comforting screen.

He is convos you approached by what is clearly a shady middle eastern guy at Moe's bar who offers him money in exchange for smuggled nuclear material from the plant. Homer agrees. Homer smuggles a uranium rod out of the plant by jamming it up his butthole, which turns out to be needless since security at the plant sucks.

The shady middle eastern guy picks up the uranium and it is totally implied that he is a terrorist building a bomb, and Bart & Lisa follow him. But it turns out the middle eastern guy drops it off to a Russian guy, and then the Russian guy gives it to DONALD DRUMPH who is assembling his own nuclear missile to shoot at his own failing casino in an elaborate insurance fraud scheme.

Before he can do it though, Hillary Clinton and a SWAT team bust in and stop him. Clinton wrestles Trump and asks for Lisa's help, dropping a "stronger together" line.

With Trump stopped, Hillary Clinton straps on a jet pack and LITERALLY smashing through a glass ceiling on her way out the building.

Lisa and Bart watch her fly away in awe, and Homer says some kind of non sequitur like "Wow, that Tom Cruise guy is amazing." As he watches.

Sideplot: Marge and a freemium app or something.

I have a fear that the jokes in this thread, that I don't recognise as having already been in a real episode, have simply been in an episode that I've not seen, or else, will be in a future episode shortly.

Bart and Lisa notice that Itchy & Scratchy has become quite preachy lately. Smug assholes like Comic Book Guy like it and the other kids in town start parroting the opinions heard on the show. Eventually Bart and Lisa ask Krusty why he's allowing Roger Meyers Jr. to use 10 minutes of every Krusty the Clown Show as a soap box for his opinions. Krusty agrees and pulls the I&S segment of his show.

Channel 6 offers Roger Meyers Jr. a full half hour time slot for Itchy & Scratchy right after Krusty. He develops basically an animated sitcom with none of the trademark mindless violence of the original I&S shorts, just smug politically charged jokes.

Bart and Lisa are appalled at how unfunny Itchy & Scratchy is and try to figure out a way to get it back to how it used to be, a violent short used to break up sketches on Krusty's show. Eventually they discover that the contract between Roger Meyers Jr and Krusty means Krusty retains the intellectual property rights so he can sue to stop production of the sitcom I&S. They run off to Channel 6 studios to give Krusty the news.
