I think it all comes down to the roles they've chosen. Pacino and Deniro were in movies that are etched in our psyche, you can't forget their roles: Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Scarface, Scent of a Woman, the Godfather.

Nicholson had The Shining, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Chinatown, Batman, Easy Rider and The Departed. Other movies haven't been nearly as good.

So you can figure out who won out of the three.
