What's the most avant-garde film ever made?

What's the most avant-garde film ever made?

Cremaster Cycle

>Cremaster Cycle
vapid, self-indulgent tedium. a glib facsimile of a film.

The most avant-garde I've seen was Un Chien Andalou, and that's pretty normie so I dunno

Problem Child 2

Daisy's Destruction

Slaughter Vomit Dolls

Mars Needs Moms

based on what I've seen:

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920)
Meshes of the Afternoon (1943)
Heaven and Earth Magic (1962)
Institute Benjamenta (1995)
Conspirators of Pleasure (1996)
Life Wastes Andy Hardy (1998)
Inland Empire (2006)
Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared (2011-2016, short film series)
The Congress (2013)

Problem Child 2

Wow, it's like I can feel the cheeto crumbs stuck in your neckbeard through my computer screen.

gonna give this a download

Isn't that what OP asked for?

Unfriended

Literally anything by Stan Brakhage. You can't find a more avant garde film than Dog Star Man, it simply can't be done.

Probably some Iranian movie

The Cure For Insomnia

Batman vs Superman

The Grifter (1996)

Problem child 2

>avant-garde film
The fuck does that even mean?

This

(although your choice of Dog Star Man is disputable)

Whats your choice then? They're all sort of incomprehensible to me, Dog Star Man jumped out simply for its length. I guess Thigh Line Lyre Triangular has the whole birth metaphor thing going, so thats a strong one too.
