I've got a penis and I don't understand the hype around this tripe.

>tfw going there in a few days b/c of this movie

i hope it's a fucking fairy tale

Any movie with depth or anything that isn't chick flicks or kids movies?

It's fucking ass. It's more of a meme city than paris.

I tried to get my girlfriend at the time to watch this with me when I was 15, she just jerked me off and blew me the whole time instead.

...

...

only passing through so can't be that disappointing

All cities are ass, there's no such thing as a proper city to visit.

The fuck is a meme city?

don't know why they like or are supposed to like the notebook so much

sure, it was sad, but hardly anything to get moist over....it definitely needed some nudity

>Tfw I'm female and this is one of my favorite movies

>All cities are ass, there's no such thing as a proper city to visit.

here's a (You) for your flyover state

yeah i'm going there in a month and i can't hold my excitement

i don't even expect anything i'm just a sucker for cobblestone and rustic shit

Overblown places that are actually terrible to visit.
Paris is the DEFINITION of a meme city. An absolute disappointment.
Trannies don't count, love.

I showed it to my parents and my mom understood it. Then again, my mom is the most patrician movie watcher in my family.

Why do you lie about being a girl? Did your dad like fucking you and making you his bitch so much that you let it define you?

there's an actual basis for it with paris though

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_syndrome

because it's so over-romanticized in movies people (asians in particular) go there and cant cope with the fact that it's got shit-hole elements like every major city

Why is it so hard to believe that a girl could like this movie?

Its even worse nowadays. Especially with no go zones and all that.

>inb4 Cred Forums get out
Its just a fact.

It's not even shit hole elements. Most of paris is a shit hole. Compare it to some place like Tokyo that's very clean and organized, Paris is practically third world.
I never recommend Paris to people who ask me. Always go countryside and avoid the cities. I've never enjoyed my time in a french city.

yeah i have no real desire to go there

trying to check out the countryside in the netherlands next week

Because the core conflict is about respecting yourself as a man and what it means to lose that respect for yourself.
All the male characters are grappling with that

>trying to check out the countryside in the netherlands next week
Watch out for the locals, particularly the ones with the webbed feet

>Layer cake
Tried watching it with my ex she fell asleep and got angry because it was boring. Meanwhile I had to watch some shit movie about a Chad stalking some married girl until they fall in love. She cried the entire way through, meanwhile MFW

Dealing with insubordination, defying your boss, and being wracked with personal guilt are not purely male experiences.

Because I watched In Bruges recently and tried talking about to a few girls. There responses went something like this "Have you "x", it's great". "x" either a marvel movie or a chick flick. I called them plebs, they didn't understand and I told them of course they wouldn't.

The Netherlands countryside is pretty great. I only wish it had the same culinary culture as the french countryside so I would never have a reason go back to france ever again.

See this is what we're talking about.

Guilt is a male abstraction. Women feel regret, not guilt. It's easy to confuse them if you've lived your entire life only feeling one of them, but there is a difference.

Is this you?

>"Have you "x"

x = kill yourself?

The first two have nothing to do with the theme.

Ray feels guilt because he's failed at being a man.
Notice that he doesn't feel any guilt about killing Julius Caesar. It's not the violence that he minds.
Killing the kid means he failed at being the standard of man that he needs himself to be.

And lookit at the little feller with the horse tranquilizer. He's got the same issue because he's a midget. He deals with his failure to measure up by sedating himself.

And then there's Voldemort he makes himself feel like a man worth being by objectifying everyone and everything in his life. It's all like trophies. He doesn't give a shit about his cunt kids. All he cares is that he has those cunt kids. Trophy on the wall.

The movie is about men and their self-worth

It's still a grear movie though. Why can't a great movie be enjoyed by everyone? I loved the humor and I understood his struggle with the guilt he felt and coming to terms with the person he was. Men just don't experience that.

Then you need to find better females to be around.

Nah, I'm not even white

What's there to understand?

>Hey, Ridley.
>Yeah?
>You got any Beemans?
>I might have me a stick.
>Loan me some. I'll pay you back later.
>Fair enough.
>I think there's a plane over here with my name on it.
>Now you're talking.

Holy shit fuck off with your humble brags

Its nice enough. Chocolate is good and the fries are pretty dank

however, the fucking belltower reeeeeeeks and the lineup is ridiculous

>Guilt is a male abstraction. Women feel regret, not guilt.
Wow! An absolutely baseless speculation! Go jack off the The Last Samurai for the 38th time.

Kys insecure faggot, I would have been fine if it were any other movie but it was my favorite at the timd.

It's got to do with him being a shit human being for killing a kid, not being a man.

Man, you all are fucking stupid.

I really liked it. It has great moments, specially Christopher Walken recording shit notes in the end.

you're right, fedoracore is enjoyed manly by boys

>"GUYS LOL THIS GIRL TOTALLY BLEW ME DURING THIS MOVIE"

>"ok man who gives a shit"

>"KILL YOURSELF YOU INSECURE FAGGOT"

>Eraserhead
>Heat
>There Will Be Blood
>Collateral
>Le Samourai
>12 Angry Men
>Dog Day Afternoon
>The Master
>Lawrence of Arabia
>Submarino
>The Conversation
>Calvary
>The Assassination of Jesse James
>Synecdoche, New York
>Casino Royale
>The Thing
>ANY Coen bros movie

Tokyo fist

Fuck that's a good movie

I understood it just fine, faggot.

Had a romantic friend that surprised his girlfriend with a weekend trip to Paris. He came back very upset. It was pretty fucking funny. That place sounds like hell.

Amazing movie. More people need to watch it.

I admit, I don't get it.

yeah well if you go there nowadays you're at serious risk of being blown up or beheaded too

yeah, these threads are bullshit. Just because you dont have a penis, it doesnt mean you lack empathy or sympathy.

protip: never say youre a girl on Cred Forums, user. You'll be bombarded by insecure fags.

Females do not and can not understand the concept of honour.

Please be in London

I think only 7 or 8 people ive met in my life have truly cared about honor.

People are cheap, despicable beings who will do anything in their power to get over others, whether, it's blackmailing, licking someone's ass or just plainly stealing the credit that belongs to you. Hell, most of them even try to forcefully fuck someone, figuratively. I have seen so many fuckin men who constantly go to a girl in the office and try to hit on them when it was painfully clear that she had rejected you three months ago. I'm not tryin to make women seem like angels either, theyre fuckin horrible as well.

People are just disgusting and we need another genocide.

>what is honour
>what is respect
>what is thriving for success
>what is isolation
>what is sacrifice

How can a female relate

I bet that one surely didn't have a vagina

You don't even know how to recognise honour so you describe it as not trying to hit on someone who has obviously rejected them.

kek, honourless whore.

Most of this post is a meme but isolation is pretty much alien to women.

yeah, this is the one that i actually agree with.
10/10 post, user. Good work. I relate to you.

Comparing Brugge to fucking shithole paris..
lmao

end you are life u idiot f uckerhead,

I would have disagreed with you until I saw this
youtube.com/watch?v=95JD0Y5CDfw

Robert De Niro is at least 65 years old and his pussy game is immortal.

This. They get creeped out because of the sextortion. That's just how guys show affection.

The Grey

>Makes up story about not being a Forever Alone
>Calls others insecure

>I'd hit a woman who's trying to hit me with her bottle, that's different, that's self defence, isn't it? ...Or a woman who could do karate. I would never hit a woman generally.

She's right, though

that doesn't mean you understand it

You just don't get it, and that's understandable. Because you are a sloot.

...

I usually don't get in on these "LMAO women!" threads but I'd love to see an all female remake of The Grey.

I've been a there a dozen times (I'm Belgian). It's alright but the pretty parts that you see in the movies are in the very small center. If you're staying more than a couple of days, you should see other cities.

>Paris is the DEFINITION of a meme city. An absolute disappointment.

That depends entirely on what you are expecting from it. Plenty of great historical and cultural shit to see and experience.

Are you the same female that said yesterday she likes Mad Men?
>tfw no patrician gf to enjoy movie and tv kino with

But my Girlfriend suggested we watch it

It's full of tourists

And I do mean full. You can barely fit a fart in there.

t. tourist

This movie is a piece of crap son.

>Paris is the DEFINITION of a meme city. An absolute disappointment.
That title belongs to New York though. What a fucking shithole. Central Park is its only saving grace

>t. woman

My gf loved it.

but she didn't understand it

I didn't understand it

Both are accurate.

Colin ferrel has actually been in some great movies. The lobster was great. Probably another women wouldn't understand.

I like this movie and so did my gf when I showed it to her. Quite possible that I missed some deeper aspects of it but I think the movie is pretty straightforward. What's not to understand (for women)?

...

>The Lobster was great

20 good minutes does not a great film make.

Go to Ypres

The Way of the Gun.

Its maximum comfy city. Enjoy it user

Do you feel guilty for this shitty post, or just regret it?

>tfw going there in a few days b/c of this movie

Yeah right, you just wanna diddle some kids like everybody who goes to belgium

Actually I loved the movie because it starring a hot psychopath who ultimately wins. I like it when the bad guys win

huh? is that legal in belgium?

It's their national sport

obv
