1 ok movie and 2 atrocities

WHY WAS THE HOBBIT SO SHIT COMPARED TO LOTR?

WHY DID THEY HAVE TO ADD CHILDISH SHIT LIKE THE SINGING GOBLINS?

...

still a good casting

greed
no heart
no time

>adaptation of a children's book
>WHY IS IT CHILDISH REEEEEEE

>WHY DID THEY HAVE TO ADD CHILDISH SHIT LIKE THE SINGING GOBLINS?

That's in the book though.

>down down to goblin town
>you go, my lad

have you read the books? obviously not

...

fucking this

Too bad he was fucking sidelined in movie 2 and 3.

IN A MOVIE SERIES CALLED THE HOBBIT

fucking hackson, I'm still mad

literally who?

see :

Just like the dwarves?

...

>me on the left

nah

Jesus Christ, read the fucking book, Jackson did all he could, pretty loyal to source and Tauriel arc wasn't that bad. I liked it, 3rd was weird, but still was interesting to watch.

...

Why did people find this scene so repulsive?

Josh Brolin as younger Tommy Lee Jones

because it was not good.

I liked how the riddles game
between Bilbo and Golum was done word for word from the book.

Okay, but why this scene in particular?

terrible film but I'm inclined to agree

It was completely pointless and the cartoonish chase scenes killed all tension

I'm not seeing it. I don't think these are good films, but in context, there's nothing particularly offensive about it.

...

what a boring movie

...

...

...

lotr is also a childrens book

YOU KNOW IT TO BE TRUE
BOTH

>Tauriel wasn't that bad

...

>doing 3 hour long trilogy based on a 400 page book

...

...

It isn't. I mean, it can be read by children I guess, but it never was marketed as so.

The melted gold felt like water.

...

...

while you're at it

...

singing was the best part KYS senpai.

...

Wow Orlando Bloom is an interesting guy.

I'm glad 90s fashion is over.

Too much cgi
Should have done the lotr approach and have an army of extras.

...

I feel no sympathy. Jackson sold his soul for the jew gold.

That fat taco nigger needs to be lynched too

>a girl is I

Wut? Did they put retards in charge ofor writing that shit

...

...

poor little girl ;_;

He was shit as Bilbo Baggins. The only good roles he's had are as Tim in The Office and Lester in Fargo.

...

...

Doesn't "perfect casting" mean that you have an already pre-existing image of the charachter in your mind, and the movies casting reflects 100% that image?
These two are just good performances in my opinion.

It showed CGI flaws that even normies could detect, like the strange melting gold and the giant cardboard like banners.

It's a very basic moviemaking thing. If it feels "odd", it does'nt matter if it's how real gold would melt and banners would fall.
Even saying that, actually that's not how gold and giant banners look in real life.
So it was a double ass scene, as it can't even use the "it's like the real deal" excuse.
It was plain bad.

>looks like the real Robert Ford
>played a whiny faggot perfectly

What more could you want?

Best performance on the show

He really owned that role, I was very skeptical at first since I only really knew him from The Office and a few comedies.

...

Speaking of this, anyone have the webm of the banners falling down? Was that actually in the movie or was it a "technical cut" or whatever the term is.

>feminazi who needs no man until someone with money shows up

perfect

DOWN IN THE DEEP OF GOBLIN TOWN

>gimli is the tallest
Really makes you wonder

everything up until they leave the shire is great. so promising. i also like the riddles in the dark scene. it was done word for word from the book. what a coincidence.

...

This and Sam Rockwell as Zaphod Beeblebrox were great. I liked most of the casting for the HHGtG film, really.

I don't know man, I think that some characters need specific performances that only a few can achieve. I'm not a big fan of Waltz but he was perfect for the role.

shame it was shit

...

You're too harsh.

What is Justin Timberlake doing with the cast from Lord of the Rings
