Wait so is this in the evil dead 1 world or the evil dead 2 world? Because they bullied Ash for slashing up his friends and girlfriend but in evil dead 2 he's only in the cabin with his girlfriend.

But in the first season you can see the skull of the dead girlfriend stuck in that thing Ash put his girlfriend's head in in evil dead 2.

the events of ED and 2 are combined, the only thing they can't directly reference is Army of Darkness, there are nods to it though like Ash's new powerglove hand
