The memory wipes seem to occur at the end of a given storyline for every android involved in that storyline. The standard seems to be a day, where androids run their basic routine for that day, and if no guests interact with them or otherwise draw them into a longer storyline they reset and do it all over again.

I imagine if you engage with a whole bunch of hosts and the signal you're giving to the overseers is "I want to develop relationships with these ones" they'll see that these androids remember you, at the very least, for the remainder of your stay, allowing you to carry through the experience you're trying to create--within the limits of what the park is able to provide.

No they aren't. The allusions to the disaster or whatever '25 years ago' are allusions to the events of the movie. At that time the androids were largely mechanical rather than synthetic, like 'Wild Bill', the android we see Ford talking to when we are first introduced to him. All of William's interactions have been with sophisticated synthetic androids, including the ones we are familiar with, which certainly weren't available 25 years earlier.

Regardless, there is no evidence to suggest that William is a younger MiB, and plenty of evidence to suggest his timeline is contiguous with the MiB's, like the aforementioned interactions William has with familiar androids.

Dolores might be 'the oldest bot in Westworld', but that doesn't mean she's actually all that old. We've already seen how many retired bots there are. And if Dolores is the oldest bot, then every other bot is younger then her, including, again, all the androids we know are contiguous with MiB's story. So if the events of Williams story are supposed to take place several decades prior to MiB's time, why are there so many bots around that probably shouldn't exist yet?

We know that Clementine has been just a hooker and the madam before by dialogue. We really do not know how many roles Dolores has had, but if robots do the same or almost the same role for decades. From the previews in Episode 3 we might learn more about any previous roles she had.

It doesn't appear that Westworld changes host roles unless a host has to be decommissioned due to fault or if it viewed to not be worth upgrading, or by dropping or adding a plot line.

The 15 or so hosts to be added by the failed proposal by the british todd howard was implied to be a big change since he didn't get the 20 he was asking for.

I imagine it's like a on-rails adventure. Everything is planned and nothing "random" occurs. If guests are near an explosion trigger, the hosts will move them away or shield them if necessary. If Indians are loosing arrows, they will make sure to 100% miss the guests.

Seems unpredictable and unsafe.

I'd try to Physically blow up all the structures and murder as many hosts as i could so they couldn't open the next day cause they'd have too much work to repair everything.

This. She's based as hell, knows she's a robot and can work it to her advantage. I think I'd spend the day convincing her to escape with me and forget the Wild West simulation completely.
