If you like Zach Clark's other flicks you should dig it. The main character is pretty fine, so that helps.

I have watched the most compelling movie in my local theaters about for about 75% of the weeks of this year. We're about 40 weeks into this year so I've seen about 30 movies. It is not my fault Hollywood is garbage.
The Wailing
Green Room
Krisha
Hunt for the Wilderpeople
A Bigger Splash
April and the Extraordinary World
>implying there are more than 6 movies worth watching from this year
Neon demon
The witch
Evolution
The lobster
Embrace of the serpent
Under the shadow
hell or high water
Couldn't get past the first segment of Wiener Dog. I wanted to watch it because it has Gerwig and DeVito, but that first kid was so insufferable that I haven't made it to their segments. Probably the worst kid actor I've seen in any movie, and that's saying something. Then they had that overly indulgent shit scene, and I stopped it there. Won't even attempt to watch that movie again. Guess I'll just miss out on Gerwig and DeVito for this one.
Hunt for the Wilderpeople
The Nice Guys
Hell or High Water
Everybody Wants Some
10 Cloverfield Lane
Kubo and the Two Strings
Embrace of the Serpent
Cafe Society
I'd watch Weiner Dog but I've heard the dog dies in the end, also my first dog was a daschund ;_;
It still hurts lads.
Green Room
The Greasy Strangler
The Nice Guys
Captain America: Winter Soldier
War Dogs
Don't Breathe
It did make me extremely uncomfortable. Most of the movie did actually, I think that's why it is on my list. Watched it with my pupper who is also a weenie so that also added to the movie.
Hmm, I don't think I can name six. I feel like I've watched a lot of movies this year to.
The Lobster
10 Cloverfield Lane
Nice Guys
Don't Breath was pretty good, Sully was well made but boring as hell and some dude in the theater smelled horrible.
Never got to see Swiss Army Man, Kubo, and Pete's Dragon, but I heard those were good.
I watched Greasy Strangler at 4 in the morning after a coke binge with a tinder date. Easily my favorite movie watching experience of the year but need to check it out in a sober mind set. Hootie tootie disco cutie had me on the floor.
Just watched Captain Fantastic. Anyone else catch this? pretty comfy "wish I had viggo as a dad"-core
what is it with Cred Forums and hating kid actors?
The kid is Babadook tier annoying though.
there are some that are ok, some that are good, and some that are bad but fulfill their role, and a lot of shitty ones. This kid was on the deep end of horrible acting, probably a producers son or something.
Currently watching
1. Elle
2. Embrace of the Serpent
3. Hunt for the Wilderpeople
4. The Wailing
5. 10 Cloverfield Lane, not too bothered with 5 onwards

Hell or High Water is 5, forgot about that one.
did this really get uploaded to trackers like 4 days ago? i paid $10 to watch this digitally in a local theatre..
Yeah, I saw that after spending 15 bucks to buy it on xbox.
Haven't really seen too many films this year but these have been the best/my favorites
This is unironically the most enjoyable movie that came out this year. My retarded friends wanted to what capetrash instead, so we did. That was the 3rd biggest mistake of this year. I let the art form down with that decision.
dont be a cunt and give us the titles
Embrace of the Serpent
Hunt for the Wilderpeople
Hell or High Water
The Nice Guys
10 Cloverfield Lane maybe
...
The Lobster is from 2015
I thought Apocalypse himself was bad ass and I fucking loved the scene where he upgraded Archangel.
