Why was he standing against the wall like that?
Why was he standing against the wall like that?
his feet hurt
he was taking a piss m8
Dr. Blair, I'm Witch
If you payed attention to the movie instead of your fucking phone you'd understand.
beat me to it
thinkgen of life
because if he looked at the witch she would kill him :^)
The camera stumbled across an amateur glory hole movie
because naughty kids must stay in the corner
This
He was in time out
>16:9
how dare you alter this kino
all objective kino can only be 4:3
Spook put him there on the naughty step
it's profoundly unsettling imagining what it would be like being forced to do something by something supernatural
No it's 1:1. Square is the perfect shape.
finally watch this the other day
>an entire film of nothing happening
>leads up to one spook shot
>movie ends
why is this so acclaimed? didnt even get to see the witch.
t. pleb
go watch some capeshit.
>he doesn't watch his films in cinesphere

Atmosphere, basically. It's unsettling because it sets up a lot, and we are kind of supposed to feel for the characters who get more emotional, and insane because of it, as we go along. It's a psychological horror and quite effective at that.
I found the acting to be rather realistic, so it's weird to me that the girl of the group was nominated for "worst actress" award.
I mean, I found her incredibly annoying, but that's how her character was written.
Didn't like the movie, though. Found it immensly boring.
Much of why it's so scary is derived from how it's delivered towards the audience. Especilly back then, although I doubt how many people truly thought that this thing was real.
The camera-guy was the witch the entire time. He bugged out while they were camping, maybe he fucked with the compass somehow so they'd get lost, found the cabin and came back to fuck with his "friends" for some unknown reason.
Eventually they found the house, went inside and while distracted in the basement he killed them brutally, hid the bodies and left the footage to be found a few years later.
>maybe he fucked with the compass somehow so they'd get lost
Is he fucking magneto now?
The witch doesn't want him to see Heather taking her fat dick
So Josh was possessed by the witch towards the end right? That's why he tossed that map in the lake
>being forced to do something
I prefer to think he was just in such a state of shock and terror he did anything "it" told him to
Don't think so, he admits doing it and is clearly in some sort of manic state of denial over it because he knew he fucked up. I mean he was right that the map was useless but still
Honestly. the fear and anxiety of meeting the supernatural is probably worse than the pain they experienced being killed by it. and it seemed like the witch was really torturing josh too
jerking off and didnt want anybody to see his TWD

The lore says the witch will let you leave if you can maintain composure through fear and never look into her eyes.
That nigga was the one and only surviving.
The killer story included a part about the killer forcing kids to stand in the corner while he killed the other child.
Yeah that's what I find so unsettling about it. Like what could he possibly have seen that made him instantly shut up and silently wait in the corner to be killed? Shame they showed the witch in the new one. Ruins it really.
is that real lore or just what the new movie shoves in?
So the Witch is an alien right?
She's 15 feet tall with 5 foot long limbs and the bright lights?
>top plen
witches are spooky
>her fat dick
they were dead as soon as that idiot knocked over that pile of stones. should've just turned back and called it a day.
So that the other one could approach the girl from behind to take her out.
There was no witch, it was planned murder.
there is no witch it's the ghost of the child serial killer.
this theory is kino tho, he led her down there. the other guy returned to kill her.
But it's not true. The witch is literally a 15 foot tall time controlling spook in the woods.
watching it on your laptop with a serbian ox-racing imageboard open with the lights on midday does not count.
You have to buy into it to get the full effect. Lights off, at night, big screen, comfy blanket and a desire to be SPOOOPED
not him and idk, but there was a boy that was let go by the hermit killer. Of course he got fucked up and killed himself in the late 80s I think, but I dont remember any mention of why the guy didnt kill him. apparently the guy told him to face the wall while he killed other kids(but in the original film the people interviewed say he took them by pairs and killed one at a time while the other faced the wall) so idk where that piece of lore came from
>time controlling
I dont get this. They say they burned down the house but the house was fucked up when they got there. It could've just burned and not turned into ashes
I agree with this but you can pretty much argue that about any horror movie. You could probably find Dracula (1930) scary in the right state of mind.
Dr. Witch, I'm CIA
because the other guy was possessed by the witch and was killing them
